Erik looked at his grandfather and father. He conveyed with his eyes that something cannot be discussed. While the Lopezes are close friends and business partners of the Lees, they were still outsiders.

"Thank you Grandpa Vic for taking your time to visit me," Erik said politely.

"Why are you thanking me? We are a family after all." He turned to Cassie. "Cassie prepared a nourishing soup for you. It is good for the stomach. Eat it while it is hot."

Cassie understood her grandpa’s hints. She opened the thermo jug that contained the soup and sat beside Erik. She started feeding him.

"I can eat it myself. My hands are not injured and besides I am not a child and there are so many people around." Erik spoke in a low voice so as not to embarrass Cassie. Cassie handed him the spoon and he started scooping the soup with the spoon.

Cassie felt dejected. In the morning she clearly saw Erik being fed by Aryana and he did not mind at all. But she remembered that Erik might be ashamed because his grandfather and father were present.

Vicente Lopez cleared his throat. "Do you have someone you suspect who would want to harm you?" He asked hesitantly.

Erik threw a glance at his grandfather wanting him to answer the question. His grandpa remained silent.

"I asked the same person to a friend working in the military Grandpa Vic. His answer made sense. Whoever will benefit the most if I am eliminated will have the greatest motive to hurt me." Erik paused and looked at his family. "So I need Grandpa and Father’s help to identify who they are." Erik’s voice was cold.

"There might be an insider working for them. Did you consider that?" Vicente Lee probed further.

"Of course I did."

"Then you should have your assistant investigated. I heard she was the one who ordered the coffee?" Vicente Lopez was trying to drive a wedge between Erik and Aryana.

"It wasn’t her Grandpa Vic." Erik snapped. He sounded irritated.

He took his cell phone, and open a food delivery app. With a voice changer, he made an order.

"I’m ordering four cups of black coffee. Deliver it to the Central District Hospital for Erik Lee. This is Cassie Lopez." Erik ended the call.

The people in the ward were all silent. Erik has clearly illustrated his point and Vicente Lopez has no argument. He suddenly felt ashamed for acting so stupid.

He did not stay long but decided to leave after exchanging small talks with George Lee. Cassie could not understand why his grandfather would leave the hospital so soon. She was not even sure if the paparazzi she hired were able to take their pictures.

"Why did we leave so early grandpa?" She asked confused.

"I made a mistake and I looked stupid. Besides I feel that Erik wanted to discuss something privately with his grandfather."

At the ward, only Erik, his grandfather, and father were left.

"Grandpa, you should be in a better position to tell who among your children wanted to harm me." Erik did not beat around the bush and talked to his father directly.

George Lee looked at his grandson like he is seeing him in a different light. It seemed as if he does not know his grandson anymore.

"You insolent fool! How could you accuse any of your uncles? They wouldn’t go to that length to hurt you. Besides I have always been fair. Everyone was given their own company to manage. Whether the company performs well or not, it is up to them and their ability. So they shouldn’t be coveting another company." George Lee said in a stern voice.

"That’s what you think Grandpa. Maybe my father can share his thoughts." Erik looked at his father with raised eyebrows.

"I have nothing to say. I don’t think someone from the family would harm you. It can be a competitor or someone that you had previously offended." Henry Lee sounded confident.

"Are you sure of that father?" Erik asked.

"We cannot go accusing people without evidence. Go get your evidence and present it to me. I will definitely judge objectively."

"I need a little more time and you’ll get the evidence. By that time grandpa, I hope you will not be biased."

George and Henry left the hospital together. Erik frowned when Aryana was not back yet.

In room 501, Jessa was awake when Aryana entered. She greeted her warmly.

"How are you, Jessa?" Aryana actually saw that Jessa’s complexion improved. It means that she was getting better.

"I am recuperating well. The doctor said that we can leave the hospital by end of the week." Jessa smiled at her and Aryana realized that Jessa has a pretty face.

"That’s great!" Aryana looked around but did not see Vince. It was only his mother who was in the ward.

"Where is Vince?" She asked wondering why he was not around.

"He went out as he need to deliver something," Jessa answered.

"Is he coming back this evening?"

"I am not sure what time. But definitely, he will come back."

"Okay, I will wait for a few minutes." But after almost an hour, Vince is not back. She was disappointed and decided to go back to Erik’s ward.

She bumped into Vince while she was walking towards the elevator. She came back with Vince in tow.

"I’ve met someone who is willing to make the clothes and he can even supply the fabric. He also likes your designs and looking forward to meeting you." Aryana shared the good news with enthusiasm. "He is the managing director of a fashion design school."

"Then can you introduce me to him? Maybe I can further hone my skills with a teacher." Vince was looking at her expectantly.

"Sure. You can come with me the next time I’ll meet him."

Aryana’s cell phone vibrated. She checked the message and it was from Erik.

Erik: I am so lonely without you. I’m all alone here. Come back."
