Chapter 132: Something Happened To Erik!

The following day, Aryana and Elaine met with the managing director at the cafe near the fashion design school.

"Aryana, this is Rex Diaz my classmate in college. Rex, this is my friend Aryana Jones. She is interested in establishing her own clothing brand and we are hoping that you can recommend some of your best dressmakers and tailors to us."

Aryana studied Rex. He was wearing a tight fitting black tee. His muscles in the arms were well toned. His hair was dyed blonde and the color of his eyes was blue. Was he wearing contacts or was it his natural eye color?

"Is he a foreigner?" Aryana whispered to Elaine.

Rex chuckled. He could guess what the pretty lady before him was thinking.

"There are just contact lenses and I dyed my hair blond. I like the color of your hair and your eyes as well. You have a unique eye color."

Aryana coughed lightly. She was embarrassed by his complement and she blushed.

"He he he. I didn’t know that there is still a woman who knows how to blush."

"Stop that Rex. You are making Aryana uncomfortable. We are here for business." Elaine butt in.

"Relax. I just haven’t teased someone for a long time. Your friend looks familiar though." Rex forehead furrowed. Then he smiled and his perfect white teeth appeared.

"It is you Aryana Jones. The one I sometimes see in Ariel’s moments." He unlocked his phone and held it in front of Elaine and Aryana.

"So you know Ariel?" Aryana asked and Rex nodded.

"He is a ’friend’ of mine." He emphasized the word friend and grinned.

"Okay, can we get back to business now?" Elaine was getting impatient now.

Rex chuckled.

"What is it for me?" Rex raised his eyes brows which seemed to Aryana was trimmed and shaped to perfection.

"Well, you can get your commission from the people you recommend and get hired by us." Elaine sounded like she was an expert in negotiations.

"Why don’t you cooperate with my company instead? I will make the dresses for you and I can also provide the fabric if you want?"

Elaine clapped her hands. "Perfect. Just what we wanted. But when did you have a company Rex?"

"I inherited that from my parents. I hire some of the graduate students from school and business looks good."

Rex suddenly remembered something. "Do you already have a designer?"

"Yes I have." Aryana took Vince’s notebook from her bag and showed it to Rex.

Rex studied the drawings intently.

"What is the name of the designer? His concept is unique. The dresses are stunning. I haven’t seen designs like these from school."

"Would you believe me if I tell you that he only studied fashion design as an elective in high school?" Aryana said as she watched Rex’s expression.

Rex looked at her in surprise. "Really? You found a gem then. I can’t wait to meet him. He is a he right?" Rex asked.

Aryana replied with a nod.

"It is time for dinner. How about I treat you two to dinner. After all, I am the only ’male’ here." Rex emphasized the word male and Elaine laughed hard.

"Elaine! Stop laughing. You are exposing my secret if you laugh like that. Elaine stopped laughing.

Aryana looked at Rex and then Elaine. ’What secret is he hiding?’

Rex treated them to Chinese dinner and they agreed again to meet the following day after office. Rex will bring them to his factory.

When Aryana arrived at the Penthouse Erik was not at home. Erik told her earlier that he just have some documents that he needed to finish before coming back to the Penthouse. She checked her phone but there was no message from Erik.

She messaged Erik using his private number.

Aryana: Did something come up? I am already home.

She waited for a response but none came. Aryana sighed. She went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and changed into her pajama. She checked her cellphone but still there was no reply. She was worried.

’Did something happen to Erik. Is he still in the office?’ She dialed his private number but it just kept on ringing and then shifted to a robotic phone that the person cannot be reached.

Aryana panicked. She called his office number but it also kept on ringing.

She called Marlon. After two rings he picked up.

"Marlon, do you know where Erik is?" Aryana was anxious.

"Isn’t he with you? He was still at the office when I left." Marlon was worried as well.

Aryana took her trench coat and put it on. She hurriedly put on her sneakers and went out of the Penthouse.

"I’ll go check in the office." She said and hung up. She called the guard and asked him if Erik left the building but the guard cannot confirm. Aryana asked the guard to switch on the light at the 42nd floor where the CEO office was.

Aryana went directly to the CEO office. Her heart almost stopped beating when he saw Erik on the floor behind his desk.

"Erik!" She ran to him and felt his forehead. He has a high fever.

"When did he had a fever? He was alright this morning."

She called the guard and asked her to go to the CEO office ASAP. She also called his driver and asked him to ready the car. They needed to bring Erik to the hospital.

"Erik, don’t scare me. Wake up." She kissed his lips and hugged him but he remained unmoving.

Two guards came and carried Erik. Aryana took Erik’s two cellphones that were on the floor and put it on the pocket of her coat.

She was only on her pajama but she has no time to change. It was good that what she grabbed earlier was a trench coat that covered up the middle of her thighs.

In the car, Erik’s head rested on Aryana’s chest. Erik was so tall the guards have no choice but to let him sit on the back seat and have Aryana support her.

Aryana called Marlon.

"Marlon, something happened to Erik. I found him passed out in his office and no matter what I do, he does not wake up. Can you call Alex?" Aryana was crying.

"What!" Marlon’s voice was so loud it startled the woman sitting beside him at the bar.

’Who dare made a move on Erik?’
