Chapter 224: Feral pleasure

[WARNING: PHYSICAL ABUSE.]

All eyes turned to look at Archi who was standing all by himself.

"Logan?" Oberon’s eyes softened. To be honest, he was really disappointed.

"What did I do?" He tried to defend himself.

"You were the one who was closest to where I made tea this morning," she lashed at him.

"Murderer!" A sharp voice snapped from behind.

Murmurs arose, all accusing him of being a murderer.

Archi was getting distressed. What was he going to do? Now he hadn’t been able to accomplish his plan.

"Zane had sent me there to supervise! That is precisely what I did," he said in his defense. Surprisingly, he was sounding quite collected.

All eyes immediately began to fig into Zane’s body.

"Yes, I was the one who had sent him there, but then it was because I wanted him to supervise them as usual."

"Hmm, that is suspicious," Oberon muttered under his breath. He was growing suspicious of the two of them.

Murmurs were rising, all of them dissing Zane, and Archi.

"That is enough!" Oberon raises his hand, "Now, listen to me, the both of you. Step forward."

They both stepped forward, while the cook briskly walked back to where she was standing earlier.

"It is on this note that I now strip the both of you of any matters relating to the palace until further investigation is done."

He took a step closer, "If I happen to trace any of this to either of you, your deaths will not be funny at all," he earned, his voice dangerously low.

Archi felt angered, if only he could just rip out his face right then, but then he was outnumbered.

"That will be all for now," he raised his voice.

"If it happens that Anyone else other than the two of them did this, that person shall die, and it will be a slow, and painful death."

"You all are dismissed," he turned around so that he was backing them.

The maids, cooks, and guards began to murmur among themselves as they left the throne room. They made sure to avoid Archi, and Zane as if they were diseases.

Archi exhaled deeply, wiping his sweaty forehead, he had to play his cards properly if he wanted to get out of this alive.

"Damn it, I screwed up," he mumbled, rushing out of the throne room.

Zane immediately went after him. He was so red in the face steam began to come out of his ears.

Before Archi could take another step forward, he grabbed him by the shoulder, pinning him against the wall.

"How dare you?! You almost landed me in trouble!" He hissed.

Archi gently pushed him away, "Stop being such a punk," he rolled his eyes trying to get away from him.

"You are so pathetic! You can not even do anything right! If only you had watched that place properly, no one would have poisoned the prince!"

Archi grunted, "I did what I could do. No one came into the kitchen carrying wolfsbane, I would have smelt it soon," he sighed.

"Then how did it get in there?! It was very obvious someone had snuck in wolfsbane in there! It was in the prince’s tea!"

"Stop yelling at me. I did all I could do," he snarled.

Zane gritted his teeth, "I do not know why I am suspicious of you. Something deep down tells me that you are not to be trusted, I will make sure I keep my eyes on you," he warned, "Watch your every step Logan," he growled, then walked out on him.

Archi hung his head, then a small smirk crawled up to his lips, "You seem to be a distraction," he chuckled, "I have to make sure you are gone so you do not ruin anything for me hm?"

He slowly raised his head, "I have to get him out of the way," he clenched his jaw, "Immediately."

...

Zane huffed, "That bloody omega was getting on his nerves.

"I would not be surprised if it later turns out he is the one who poisoned the prince."

He hurried into the guard’s quarters. It was already dark. Hence he wanted to be in his room before any other strange thing occurred.

Someone held his shoulder, "And where are you going so fast?"

Zane froze in his tracks. Who was this?

"You do not seem all that brave all of a sudden, I thought you were the assistant head guard?" With that, he spun zane around.

Zane’s eyes met with fierce grey eyes. The person’s face was masked, so he couldn’t see his face.

"Wh- who are you? What do you want?"

"You already know too much Zane, you might eventually put me in trouble before I can do what I came here for. I really do not want that," he coughed slightly.

"What do I know? I do not even know you."

"That would not be necessary," he held his face, twisting at once to the side. Zane almost yelled, but he had stuffed his mouth with a cloth.

"Shut up," he took out a whip, cat o’ nine tails. Dragging Zane by the neck, he took him to a more secluded area behind the guard’s quarters where they barely came to do anything at all.

He tied Zane’s hands, and legs with silver cords. Zane tried his best to struggle, but this man was unbelievably strong, stronger than an average omega.

He removed the cloth he had stuffed Zane’s mouth with.

"Who are you? What do you want from me? Please let me go," he quivered, all his face was sloppy, and sweaty.

"Well, not so soon," he dipped his face in a bucket of water, "Have some fun," he lashed at him with the whip.

Zane gurgled as he was screaming with his face in a bucket of water.

He began to trash him thoroughly until Zane’s sweat was now mixed with blood, but that did not hinder him, he kept trashing and trashing until all of his skin was ripped apart. Blood now filled everywhere.

He took out his face from the bucket of water. His face was all wet, both with tears, and the water.

The man took of his mask revealing Archi, "Hehe, surprise, surprise!" Archi’s eyes widened with a feral madness, grinning evily.

"Logan?"

"Mm-mmh," he punched Zane in the face. The force of the punch was so strong that he spat out a tooth, and more blood.

"Logan.. why.. why are you doing this?" He shuddered.

"First of all, the name is Archi," he chuckled, "Does that ring a bell?" He smirked.

"Archi.." he creased his brows, "What? The king’s son?!" His jaw fell.

"Yes, the king’s son, well.." his claws extended, "I had to come back here, you all have committed too much," with one swipe of his claws, Zane’s face was badly cut.

"Wh.. what.. why.." he stuttered.

Of course, he had a strength that was not normal for an Omega, he was a Lycan! A freaking Lycan!

Tears sprang to his eyes. All these while, he was being rude to the king’s true heir.

"Your highness," his voice was choked, "Please spare me," he croaked.

"Ah now you are all humble? Tsk, too late," he whipped Zane’s face.

"Do not even make that mistake of trying to scream."

"I am sorry, your highness, it was.. I never meant to be rude to you."

"Of course you did not," he sneered, "You already know too much, I can not keep you here any longer."

"Please your highness! You can not do this to me! Please let me live, I promise my mouth will be shut."

Archi’s eyes glinted with feral pleasure, "Of course," he took out a small jar of wolfsbane he had ground.

The sharp smell hit Zane’s nose, then he panicked.

"No, no, no, no, please your highness!"

"Shh!"

He pressed his lips together, "Please.. do not do this," he begged.

"Of course," he cleared his throat, "Open your mouth, sucker.’

Zane refused, "I will not your highness, please.."

"Oh well," Archi took a hold of his neck, bent it backwards, "Open your mouth," he stressed on every single word.

"Your highness!" He gagged when Archi gripped the back of his neck.

Archi saw that as an opportunity, so he emptied the contents in his mouth.

"Better."

Zane’s face immediately went blue. He was feeling nauseous, wanting to throw up, but Archi forced it back into his throat. His eyes widened with fear, his life was flashing before his very own eyes.

"Any last words?" Archi grinned.

Zane could not respond, he was gagging.

"I can not hear you," he placed a hand behind his ear, trying to mock there fact he couldn’t talk in that moment.

"Tsk, of course," Archi cackled.

"Say a goodbye Zane," he took out his dagger, "I hope you enjoy seeing the moon goddess’s face."

He took out a small dagger, "Rest in perfect peace," he laughed hysterically.

With one swift movement, he drove the dagger into his chest, directly where his heart lay.

Zane’s eyes slowly retreated into their sockets. His skin turned pale, as more blood left his body.

Archi was pleased, a feral laugh tore from his throat, raw and jagged, "Yes!"
