Thane knocked on the door. It opened revealing his mother, a short woman, with short brown hair, small dark brown eyes, a small pointed, and red lips.

Her eyes brightened as soon she saw Thane.

"Thane my dear," she wrapped her hands around him, "Where have you been? I have been worried sick about you," her eyes widened, "What happened to you?"

"I am sorry I kept you waiting mother," he smiled nervously, "Are you fine?" He disengaged from the hug.

"I was worried, you went to visit Archi’s mother, and..you didn’t return early," she glanced over at Nyx.

Nyx moved forward to meet her, "I am sorry, Athena... that is a long story, but it is definitely not for today."

Athena threw them confused looks, "What is going on? Is everything okay?"

Archi decided to chip in, "Actually.. we would need you to exchange wardrobes with my mother, hehe," his face turned pale.

Thane went inside the kitchen to get some water. The house wasn’t so big, just a few chairs, a table in the living room, two dining chairs, and a dining table. Overall, the place was looking very clean.

Nyx eyed Archi, giving him signs to explain what he wanted. He cleared his throat, "Mother," he also called Athena mother too, "I would have loved to explain everything in detail, but I can only summarize."

Nyx rolled her eyes at Thane, tapping her feet, "You are not being serious..."

"So you had that kind of potion? For what?" Thane widened his eyes at her in playful horror.

"For the future times like this," Archi scowled at him.

"Oh please," Thane rested back in his chair, and smirked.

Athena got to her feet, "Come with me, Nyx."

Nyx sighed, then got up to follow her.

When they were together in her room, she sat her down on her bed.

"Nyx, what exactly is going on? Why do you want to mask your scent?"

"I am not the one who wants it, my son is the one who is after it," she shrugged, "He.. he wants me to go back to the palace with him so he could get revenge on his father but.. I just do not want to.. I can not," her heart skipped again with the thought of ever setting eyes on Oberon once more.

"Then do not go, why are you panicking so much?" Athena’s brows knotted together into a frown.

Nyx palmed her face, "He just wants to take revenge on my behalf, something I could not really do," she shook her head, "I messed up," she sniffed, "I feel wronged yet I do not want him to harm his father."

Athena coughed slightly, "Hmm, I would have said do what your heart tells you to but.. in this case, I do not know what to tell you," she held her hand.

Nyx looked away, her face bright red.

She shut her eyes tight, "Why do the three of you keep asking me this? I already said no!" She almost snapped.
