Dora curled up herself in kaelos’s arms, her face buried in his chest.

Kaelos took her to the garden, and helped her sit.

"I am sorry if they tried to harass you. They can be quite crazy sometimes," he rubbed her back gently.

She nodded, and wiped her eyes, sniffling.

"I am sorry. Are you hurt?"

She nodded, "Her grip hurt," she broke down in tears again.

He huddled her in his arms again, "Please, stop crying. I am here now, and I will make sure I take care of them, okay?"

She snuggled up close, still sniffing in his arms.

He patted her head gently, "Shh, stop crying," he used his thumb, and wiped the tears away from her face.

"I am here, okay?"

"I do not want to be here, I want to go back home," she pouted.

He sighed, "I.. will take you home."

She disengaged from the hug, "Who brought me here anyway?"

He bit his lips, "My mother did. She.. knows that you are pregnant with my pup."

Her face contorted, "Your pup?"

"Oh, I am sorry. Your pup," he rubbed his neck nervously.

She looked away, "That is better."

His eyes drooped, "Please Dora. You so do not know the amount of help you could be to me."

"You only want me because you want to secure your throne, and I am not being a part of that. I can raise this pup all by myself."

He sighed heavily, "I know.. I made a mistake.. but I promise to make..."

"No!" She chipped in, "You do not have to act like the old version of Oberon," she scoffed.

"I do not intend on that. I am sorry if I gave that impression."

She rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

"Please forgive me at least. If you do not want to do this, then it is fine, I will accept your wish."

Her eyes stung with tears, "Oh, it is easy for you. You could easily find another she wolf," her voice broke.

He shook his head, "Astrid can have the throne then. I am not sleeping with a wolf if that wolf is not you."

She blinked the tears away. What?

He stood up, "Let us take back you home," he stretched out his hand.

She creased her brows, "Uh..."

"Let us go."

She hesitated for a while, then took his hand.

He smiled at her, and led her back into the palace.

"We have to leave before another drama starts again."

She nodded, "Okay," she whispered.

His hand caressed her palm, as they walked through the hallway. She felt shivers down her spine, but chose to ignore it.

They ran into Lunaris at the living room.

"What? Where is she going?"

"She does not want to be here mother, it is against her wish, we can not force her," he told his mother firmly.

Lunaris opened her mouth to speak but Kaelos raised his hand, "That is enough mother. I am taking her back home."

"Kaelos!"

"I said enough," he shut her up with a cold look in his eyes.

"She says she does not want to be here. She already has my pup, what else do you want?"

"You have not presented her to the elders!"

"Oh, she does not want that," he faced her, "Her wish is my command," he squeezed her hand gently.

He led her by the hand, and they walked out of the palace together.

There was silence as they walked towards the gate. Dora’s heart raced, as she thought of what Kaelos had said back there. Did he really mean what he had said?

They reached the gate. He opened it, and let her walk through it first.

He walked behind her, and closed it behind her.

"It.. is fine," she spoke up, "I can take it from here," she said avoiding his eyes.

"No, I am not letting you go back there alone. You are with child."

"It does not matter. I will manage."

"No way, anything could happen to you. I am not risking that."

She looked at him, "Why are you acting as though you care?"

"I do care," he replied simply, his eyes glistening.

"I do not think so. If you did, you would at least had tried explaining everything from the start. I thought you liked me!"

He shut his eyes, and cleaned his fists, "Dora I.."

"Do not say anything! You do not care about me at all. You lied about your name, your identity, everything about you was a lie!" She screamed.

"No, please listen to me, let me explain."

"I do not want any explanation," her eyes teared up, "What else is there to explain? You never cared, so why act like you care now!" She yelled again, but this time choked on her throat.

Kaelos cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her forehead.

"Dora.. trust me when I say I care so much about you, I really do."

"Ugh! That is not even what I asked you! Do you love me or not?"

He sucked in some air, "Hmm."

He wrapped his left arm around her waist, and with his right hand drew a wolf’s head in the air.

"I hope you understand," his voice echo

Her eyes grew drowsy, and she blacked out.
