The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 851: TWO SERAFIMS

Chapter 851: TWO SERAFIMS

Extracting the lycan out of Cane and devour its soul would solve Decratic’s problem quickly and more so, it would devastate Iris to know her mate was being harmed. That’s the end goal of him. Crushed Iris’s hope again and again, until she was afraid to even have a shred of hope.

Until she fell completely into the darkness, into his arms...

"We need to do something," Elder Rania said, she watched how the alpha shifted into his lycan form and all of them gasped.

Alpha Derick stood in front of Cezi, as if protecting his son from this cursed creature. He didn’t see Cane, neither the son of his best friend, but something ominous, a creature that shouldn’t be existed, thing that should be destroyed.

"No." Elder Xarex brought the other elders to the sideline, so they wouldn’t be in a way of what would happen soon. "Let’s watch."

"What do you mean? If the lycan is in Decratic’s hand then the sixth sword..."

Elder Rose cut her off. She could understand what Elder Xarex’s intention. "Let’s wait and see."

"Why?" Elder Rania was the youngest among the four elders and even though she didn’t completely believe what Iris had told them, but she knew they couldn’t let Decratic to gain more power than this. She hissed this logic to them hastily before it was too late.

Dexter and Zeke created a shield to chain the lycan, while the creature had killed countless warriors within a few minute, it destroyed anything around it.

Kellan, alpha Derick and Cezi had retreated to the sideline and watch firsthand the horror of how ferocious the lycan was.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Cane was not exaggerated when he said he was going to paint the whole place red in blood, if they were attacking him, because that was what the lycan was doing right now. The thick smell of blood was very suffocating and dead body of the warriors piled up, while Dexter and Zeke kept trying to tame the cursed creature, alongside with the other dark magic users.

It was the lycan against everyone, while the elders were only standing there, watching everything unfolded without doing anything to help.

The lycan’s soul could be extracted from its vessel? Alpha Xarex wanted to see what would happen then.

"Decratic is in a weak form. That luna said Decratic took after king Alan’s figure, but I think that man is the real Alan, while whatever thing inside the bundle in his arms is..."

"Decratic," Elder Rania finished Elder Rose’s analysis.

"Hm." Elder Rose nodded. "That’s Decratic, I can feel evil feeling from that thing." She was a Serafim after all, she could tell that much. "Decratic is not strong enough right now, so when they managed to extract the lycan out of the alpha’s body, we are going to destroy it before Decratic could devour the lycan’s soul."

In short, they would be able to take the advantage of this whole situation. Destroyed the lycan and also prevented Decratic from gaining more power.

"What about the sixth sword within the lycan?"

"The sword doesn’t belong to that curse creature, if the first Serafim was the one, who created it. The sword will stay even when the lycan’s soul was destroyed." Elder Rose knew what Elder Xarex was thinking and she explained it better.

This was their best bet, since luna Iris wouldn’t have agreed to anything that could potentially harmed her mate.

"Let’s see what they can do with the lycan."

The elders watched closely.

They didn’t quickly jump into the decision to destroy the lycan because there were so many things to be considered, especially what Iris said about the sixth sword that could be the only way to destroy Decratic.

If the lycan’s soul was extracted and the sixth sword came out, a Serafim could kill Decratic by using it, right?

Elder Rose was a Serafim too...

=================================

Iris was not sure how they were going with this, but when Abby said that they could do this together, she felt a little bit better.

"I only want to say that you will not like the memory that you will see, just in case you happened seeing mine." Abby felt a little bit uncomfortable if her memories were seen by Iris.

But, when you absorbed the dark magic, this case could happen. Iris knew about that too, she saw Cane and Ethan’s memories as well.

"I want to warn you the same thing," Iris replied, she was smiling bitterly.

Here, she was going through it again. The same thing that shattered her, but then her worried about Cane’s wellbeing was greater than any fear she had.

She could feel the fraction of what Na was going through when she lost Lu, even that had caused turmoil in her heart, she didn’t want to experience that for real.

"Tell me if you are ready," Abby said. Iris was definitely more powerful than her, but she still held more knowledge about Serafim’s power than her, in spite of the fact, most of her knowledge was only theory.

"I am ready."

Iris took a deep breath, as she felt this uncomfortable feeling started to worm inside her veins and the air current became a little bit hot.

Warriors, knights and magic users took steps back, as the wind gradually became so harsh for them to stand close to the two Serafims.

They watched how the blinding light from the two of them merged and brightened up the dawn sky. The sky was devastatingly beautiful, but dangerous at the same time.

Air rushed around them, leaving the howling sound and the ground was shaking. The Sylph disappeared and it left the magic users to create protection shield for them, just in case, the shockwave threw them off guard and did harm more than they could imagine.

"PROTECTION!" Lou roared, as he led all the magic users to put the shield for thousand of their people.

Meanwhile, their enemies’ warrior had been subdued, they were forced to eat Rottingbane to prevent them from shifting into their beast form. It was easy to do that when they couldn’t fight back.

And now, all they could do was to watch what these two Serafims could achieve together.

"Who is in there?" Aliana murmured to herself, Ethan was standing next to her, while Zale was being held closely, so he wouldn’t be close enough with the luna and got caught in the storm, which seemed would happen any time.

"Who else? Those nasty people," Ethan said.

However, Aliana shook her head. "No. Kellan and his people are not magic users. They will not be able to create a strong shield full of black magic."

Ethan gave some thought. "There must be black magic users in there."

"Strong enough to overpower our luna?" Aliana looked at the gamma with meaningful look. "You know luna Iris can purify black magic by a single touch."

Only then it sunk in.

"Decratic," Lou said grimly. "Decratic is inside."

"And Cane and the elders too," Jace added.

With this information, they could feel the dreadful of the situation.

"This will not be good..." Ethan shook his head. "I thought Decratic is so weak to have another battle."

"We don’t know about that for sure." Aliana watched how Abby and Iris’s body lifted in the air. The two of them had their eyes closed, but the bright light around them turned a little murkier, as they absorbed the black magic that protected Diandem pack.

On the other hand, currently Iris and Abby had to face the other’s darkest memories, lived up to the most painful event in their life that neither of them wanted to remember.

Iris’s mind flooded with Abby’s childhood memories, the one that she hated the most, the one that she wanted to forget, but couldn’t and the one that she had buried so deep, so it wouldn’t hurt anymore.

Once again, she basked herself in pain and misery. The weight of her duty and how lonely the path was for her to walk in. The heaviness of people’s expectation and how sharp the disappointment in their eyes, sharper than any blades in this realm...

The urge to do better and only to find out you failed them again and again. Every attempt that you did was not for you, but for other people...

And when the two Serafims were trying to fight back the darkness, inside the fortress, Decratic could feel them trying to break in, but at the same time, Dexter and Zeke were having hard time to keep the lycan in check.

The bundle that Alan had been holding in his arms wriggled and he dropped it on the ground before he retreated. His eyes were empty, as if he was not even aware what was going on around them.

There, on the ground, they could see from inside the blanket, there was a child, around the age of five, crawled out.

His skin flaked off, like a burning scar... like Grebis.

The little boy tried to stand up, but in the end, he slithered on the ground, as if all bones inside his little body had been removed. His red eyes gleamed under the first light of the sun.

Alpha Derick and Cezi were taken aback, their mind was still reeling with the fact of what was going on before their eyes. A lot of things had happened and they were trying to keep up.

"That’s Decratic," Elder Xarex said. "This is our chance to destroy that creature once and for all. Be ready Rose!"
