Decratic suffered greatly after his last encounter with Iris. He looked so weak and fragile, so it was understandable why the elders thought they could take him down. It almost felt like they could end this little boy’s life without any effort.

However, that was too outrageous of them to think they could do it without any backlash.

Decratic was wounded and he was not in his best condition, but it didn’t mean, three old magic users and an old Serafim could take him down easily.

The four elders moved to block Decratic from approaching the battle between the lycan against Dexter and Zeke, they created a formation around him with the scary little boy was in the middle of it. They trapped him inside their spell and rendered him locked inside their magical cage.

Seeing this, alpha Derick and Cezi told all the warriors to back away, especially the warrior from their pack, because they didn’t want to deal with this. A lot of things had been revealed and prince Kellan was leaving the scene when a warrior whispered something to his ear, but Cezi cornered him when he went to retrieve his hoarse.

"Where are you going, prince Kellan?" Cezi asked. His father was too occupied to watch the lycan and the elders, thus he didn’t even realize when prince Kellan and Cezi were gone.

"Move out of the way!" Kellan roared fiercely, as he shoved Cezi, but he stopped him from leaving. "What are you doing?"

"Where are you going?" Cezi’s grip on Kellan’s shoulder was so strong, he didn’t allow him to leave this pack.

Five warriors that Kellan brought with him reacted to the offense, but Kellan raised his hand to stop them from making an advance.

"The reinforcement is here. I am going to get them!" He said through his gritted teeth. His eyes were ablaze with rage for Cezi’s audacity to block him. "Your father will not happy with the way you treat me."

"You are going to Winter Moon pack," Cezi stated. That’s where the harbor was, their reinforcement used water route to reach this continent. "You are going to leave the battle here to go to Winter Moon pack. It’s two weeks journey."

"I am aware of that," Kellan said. "What else do you think you can do?! There is a lycan out there, who could kill us off in a blink of an eye and the four elders from the Holy Kingdom! Our warriors fell out there, behind the fortress!" Kellan growled, as he shook his hand harder to free himself. "What else do you think you can do?!"

No. Cezi didn’t care much about the battle, but he did care to find out the truth. "What have you done to my sister?" He blurted out the question, which didn’t have any correlation with Kellan’s outburst earlier.

His sister was still in the campsite, so did the three little girls, but if it was alpha Cane’s mate, he knew they were in a good hand. There was nothing he needed to be worried about. That luna wouldn’t have done anything to harm his sister and the three little girls.

Kellan narrowed his eyes when he heard the accusation. "Are you trying to say that I harmed your little sister?" Kellan shook his head, his expression was crestfallen. "She is my mate, how can I hurt my own mate?! if you didn’t believe me, you can ask Arella herself."

"I don’t understand what are you talking about." Kellan could see Cezi started realizing something. "You delay me. You will put our people in a great risk." He stood his ground not to say a thing.

"That’s evil thing that the king brought with him!" Cezi said through his gritted teeth. He really wanted to get the truth out of Kellan’s mouth. The whole thing was very confusing, but his instinct told him he was standing in the wrong side all this time.

"Do you mean Cane? Can’t you see that he shifted into a lycan? Have you forgotten what the lycan had done? The story about the cursed creature and how this creature had shaken the whole kingdom not so long ago? Not to mention the lycan was the creature that killed prince Vemion. Have you forgotten about that?" Kellan tilted his head and took a step closer. "If there is evil creature, it’s the lycan."

However, before Cezi could retort, both of them toppled to the ground and was thrown against the wall because of a strong shockwave that hit them so hard.

The shockwave lasted for a minute, forcing them to close their eyes and protected themselves because everything was being hurled in the air. A table almost hit Cezi’s head and the horse was lifted in the air before the shockwave ceased down and the poor animal was dropped dead to the ground.

"Wh- what is happening?" Cezi groaned, he tried to open his eyes and wiped off the dirt from his face. His body was hurt, sure enough he sustained a few scratches here and there, but he gasped in shock when he watched his surroundings.

The rooftops had been thrown because of the harsh wind, everything was thrown away and was destroyed, warriors were disordered, some of them were dead because they were being hurled or struck by brick from houses or carriages.

This shockwave was very powerful, you would think this place just hit by a tornado.

What happened?!

Outside of the fortress, Iris and Abby managed to absorb all the strong dark magic, leaving the fortress without protection, which let them had an easy access to enter the pack, since the warriors, who guarded there had been thrown away from their position too.

"Are you, okay?" Cedric immediately approached Abby, he was worried because her current condition.

"Y- yes..." Abby trembled. She couldn’t move her body. The memories she saw was too terrifying. She glanced at Iris and felt the tug in her heartstring.

How could someone go through something so horrendous like that?

Meanwhile, a few people approached Iris and Lou was on the lead, he was the first who reached her and immediately checked on her.

"Are you, okay? Let’s go back to the carriage, you have done a great job!" Lou took off his cloak and draped it on her shoulders.

Aliana, Jace and Ethan came after, so did Eron, Dyne and Zale. All of them looked worried.

"Tell Grace to be in the carriage, I will take Iris back!" Lou said, as he intended to carry her, but Iris refused. She didn’t want to leave.

"No. Grace will not be able to do anything with me." Iris pushed Lou’s hands away from her. "There is something we need to do. I need to find Cane."

iris glanced at Abby. She didn’t pass out, but Iris was not sure how many memories she saw from her.

"Jace, lead the warriors to enter the pack, search for Cane first. We need to find him first!" Iris emphasized the importance of finding Cane. She should have done this earlier. She wished she was not too late and there was nothing happened to him. "I will follow after." Iris could continue, but she needed to rest for a while.

Absorbing such strong dark magic with Abby worked well, but still, she needed time to recover and gather her thought, so it wouldn’t disarray and cause a backlash on her. The negative feeling still lingered, but it was not anything that she couldn’t handle.

Abby also looked like she did well.

"Yes, luna!" Jace accepted the order and immediately moved as per Iris’s instruction. The warriors marched behind him, they shifted into their beasts and started to climb the fortress.

It didn’t take long before they could open the gates and more warriors flooded inside.

"Lou, please." Iris grabbed Lou’s hands. "Please find Cane and make sure he is fine." Iris gave him a pleading look.

If there was someone inside the fortress could pull such strong dark magic, it must be someone as strong as Zeke or... maybe it was Decratic himself. Iris felt uneasy. She wanted Cane.

"Damn it!" Lou was upset. Why would he look for Cane? But then, did he actually have the ability to refuse her? "Alright, alright, alright, understood!" he then stood up. "Stay here, I will bring your mate here! Don’t move!"

Lou then left.

Okay, he did this because he knew the sixth sword that could destroy Decratic was within Cane. So, he was doing this to save the world, not to help Iris found her mate, okay?!

Ethan, Aliana and Zale stayed with Iris.

"Luna, please drink this," Zale said, he just returned from taking a waterskin and gave it to her.

"Thank you," Iris murmured and drank the water, but she didn’t finish it, instead she asked Zale to give it to Abby too.

"You don’t look so good," Ethan remarked. "Let’s go back to the carriage. Our warriors have entered the pack, it’s only a matter of time until we find Cane."

"No." Iris shook her head. She was going to go inside after she had gathered her strength.

But then, something caught her attention. At first, she thought, she saw thing, or it was only residue of her power, but these two lights remained.

These two tiny lights floated around her.
