The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 849: LET’S DO IT TOGETHER

Chapter 849: LET’S DO IT TOGETHER

Iris was sure, she could handle this, because she knew what she was capable to do.

"Iris, you can’t get involved in this. Though, I don’t mind it, but unfortunately, you can’t get some fun of killing them." Lou reminded Iris the same thing like Cedric did.

But, Iris knew what she was doing. She didn’t need to kill them all. Her power was not limited to kill her opponent only and by her doing this, didn’t mean she had resentment or anger toward them. This was only an act of defense. Nothing more, nothing less. She didn’t need to feel anything about this action.

And when Lou refused to back down, Iris put the protection around her and Lil Thing, which made the merchant was unable to touch her, more so to stop her.

With that, the luna moved forward. The knights were surprised and the warriors were shocked to see their luna went straight to the heart of the battle. They were trying to stop her, but was unable to due to the protection that Iris put around her and Lil Thing.

Seeing the situation, they could only resort to protect her.

Yet, that was not necessary.

As Iris walked, the enemies were forced to shift into their human form, kneeling down in pain, unable to move, much more continuing this battle. They gripped their chest, having a hard time to breath and growled in pain. They couldn’t understand how it happened and what kind of magic Iris used, but it was also a shock for them to see their fellow friends suffered the same.

Within a few minutes, the battle ceased down, leaving both parties speechless of what the luna was capable to do.

The royal warriors, Celestial Moon pack warriors and the warriors from the other four packs were forced to shift into their human form and now were kneeling on the ground, while the dark magic users were in tight spot, because without the warriors, there was no way they would be able to fight against this massive number of beasts, knights and magic users at the same time, let alone two Serafims.

It was an absolute defeat the moment Iris got herself involved.

The knights couldn’t find a word to comment about how the situation turned out and the shifters howled in excitement! This was the easiest battle for them! The easiest victory in a history!

Lou stopped following Iris, he was shocked, but then his expression turned into dotting. He smiled smugly, as if he was the one who had defeated the entire enemy, he was so proud of her!

Meanwhile, Aliana, Eron and Dyne shifted into their human form and watched how everything unfolded, they were left dumbfounded.

But it was Eron, who joined with the celebration.

"We did it!" Eron threw his fists to the air.

"Our luna is single handedly defeated our enemies!" Dyne chimed in.

"See! I told you my luna is the best!" Zale just came and he shifted into his beast, looking so proud and extremely happy! He barked and bragged to anyone, who wanted to listen to him.

Meanwhile, Aliana grinned to see how far Iris had gone. She was no longer that shy woman that she met the first time. The luna had gone through so much, suffering from unthinkable pain and here she was, proving herself that she was worth it of the title and even more.

The saying was right. What couldn’t kill you, would make you stronger and the luna proved that.

And in contrast different was the reaction from the knights. They didn’t say anything when the warriors celebrated their easy victory. Their faces were mixed of shocked and disbelieve, there was a little bit of anger there, because the warriors their pride was hurt, since this was the Serafim’s job.

It supposed to be the Serafim, who had done this. It supposed to be their Serafim, who ended this battle. But, why this woman held the same power as the Serafim? And was even way stronger than her? This was not right.

Or maybe, the elders made a mistake since the beginning and the current Serafim was actually not the Serafim?

They knew about the relationship between Serafim Abby and Elder Rose...

Was it...

Maybe...

They stopped themselves from making an assumption and watched the luna walked into the campsite with the white bear by her side and the warriors and beasts followed her.

Where was their Serafim when this luna claimed the victory?

Currently, Abby was being supported by one of the three knights, aside from Cedric, no one here knew about her pregnancy and definitely, this pregnancy had taken a toll on her. She became so weak than her usual self.

Of course, this gave a stark different from the power Iris displayed.

"Luna, we just received a report that the alpha and the elders, along with prince Kellan, alpha Derick and his son had gone to Diandem pack." One of the warriors reported it to her and from afar, Jace and Ethan raced toward her.

Ethan had this smug grin on his face and immediately scooped her body for a hug. He looked extremely happy for what Iris was capable to do.

"You are so awesome!" Ethan said loudly, as he swung her body around, which made Iris giggled, but Lou kicked his leg.

"Put her down!" Lou said viciously. "How could you do that to your luna? That’s inappropriate act!" The merchant didn’t even get a hug at all after all the pain in the butt he had gone through.

"What?!" Ethan grimaced, he glared at the merchant, but thankfully, Aliana came in between them and straightened up their main focus.

"So, alpha Cane and the others currently inside the fortress of Diandem pack?" Aliana asked to stop the fight.

"We need to get inside. I guess, there are still more warriors and magic users there." Jace narrowed his eyes at the tall fortress.

"We only need to take down the fortress, right? That’s not a big deal. I can do it by myself," Lou said arrogantly, he cracked his knuckles, ready to try.

However, even before he started, he had stopped.

"What is it?" Redmond asked, he just came and happened to hear Lou’s arrogant statement earlier. "The fortress is still standing, as I can see it."

Ethan raised his hand for a high five, he was happy enough to have someone humbled down the merchant.

Yet, Redmond simply glanced at his hand and approached Iris. His attitude as if saying; the enemy of your enemy was not my business.

"The explosion earlier came from inside the fortress," Redmond then explained in more detail about the plan. The explosion supposed to happen only an hour or so after they entered the campsite, but it took so long before it was happening.

And more so, the alpha and the other shouldn’t have entered the fortress in the first place.

"Something must have gone wrong," Redmond said. Needless to say, all of them agreed.

Right now, the sky had started to turn bright, as the long and tiring night finally ended, but it was not over yet for them.

On the other hand, Iris knew about the detail of the plan, Cane had told her before and she agreed with Redmond’s assessment of the situation.

"Lou, can you take down the fortress?" Iris asked. The Sylph was still there, thus the magic users could use their magic without any scrupulous, but Lou knitted his brows. "What is going on?"

"They put protection shield around the fortress." Lou frowned. "It’s so strong."

"Can’t you break it?" Aliana looked around her. "There is the Sylph and a lot of magic users here. You can work with them."

Lou knitted his brows even more. "This is dark magic."

"Well, our luna must be able to purify it, right?" Zale chimed in. He wanted to be close to the luna, he looked so smug and proud when he walked past the knights, who months ago kept taunting them behind their back of how the shifters would have died without them there to offer some help, since they were the reinforcement for them in this battle.

But, looked now! They were on the second line on the battle and the Serafim they were talking so highly was nothing against his luna!

Iris walked closely. She concentrated on the shield around the fortress, but a voice behind her confirmed her suspicion.

"The dark magic is too strong to be purified, the only thing you can do is to absorb it," Abby said. She looked so pale, sweat trickled down from her forehead.

Obviously, Iris could feel dark magic and usually, she would be able to purify it without problem, but there was some kind of dark magic that she couldn’t purify so easily. It was the darkest black magic, in which she required to absorb it, just like the Grebis.

"Lou, can’t you create a portal to enter the fortress?" Iris turned around to ask Lou.

"No." Lou shook his head regretfully. "My portal doesn’t work."

It meant, it left them with only one option.

"If you did it, you will give power to Decratic. Remember the last time you did it?" Abby warned Iris when she saw what she was going to do.

"Do you have another plan?" Iris narrowed her eyes. "I am open to all suggestion."

Something was wrong and she could feel it. She wanted to see Cane and make sure he was fine.

"There is," Abby said. She then approached Iris. "Let’s do it together."
