The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 754: A MOTHER’S RAGE

Chapter 754: A MOTHER’S RAGE

Aria stared at a small casket with fresh flowers on top of it. A derisive smile plastered on her lips when she read the name.

-Crystal Nera Nortern-

This little casket was where Iris and Cane’s first daughter rested forever. Aria read the words and her eyes flickered with malice.

This was Iris and Cane’s baby. She couldn’t accept the fact the two of them had their own baby! They didn’t deserve any form of happiness at all!

Aria took the flower and threw it on the ground, as she stomped on it, her eyes filled with rage and she was breathing heavily when she glared at the little casket.

"Burn this place," Aria said. "Burn this place and destroyed it, with that Cane will come running out of the pack," she said coldly and then left.

But, her eyes caught another casket, where she saw a very familiar name on it. It was her former Missy, Leane, Cane’s destined mate. Someone, who supposed to spend the rest of her life with him.

If it was not because of alpha Gerald and his greediness, the ten years slavery would never happen and her missy would still be alive. Probably by then, Aria would have different ending and she wouldn’t harbor any desire toward Cane.

But right now, it was already very late for her to stop herself from wanting him.

This was all alpha Gerald’s fault and by extent, Iris!

She took Cane away from her and had the audacity to have babies with him. That woman deserved fate worse than death!

"Burn and destroy this place and you will get him out of their lair," Aria said. She averted her eyes from her missy’s casket and then walked out of there, letting the warriors to do the deed.

"Do you really think with this he will come out?" alpha Nolan asked, while alpha Gallot was eager to destroy this place and had a sick idea to get the baby out of her casket to taunt Cane for threatening him with his son’s life.

However, he immediately curbed his own idea because he was still afraid Cane would do something impulsive and killed his son instead, he still remembered the look on his eyes when they met earlier. He looked crazy enough to go on with his threat.

Not to mention with the fact he knew him quite well, though they didn’t meet so often, but a person with Character like Cane was someone that you wouldn’t easily forget, thus he didn’t voice it out.

Meanwhile, Redmond watched everything unfolded, as he kept quiet. His eyes fell on Aria, who was smiling derisively, while watching the family’s tomb was being destroyed.

==============================

It was the Howling Wolf pack’s family tomb, where all the dead member of the pack was buried there.

’The pack house and the fortress were built entirely to protect the people from the attack and monster, while this place was built outside of the fortress because the warriors wouldn’t have to worry about protecting it if we are under attack. So, it wouldn’t be another spot that needed to be protected.

If it was built inside the fortress, in case of emergency situation, they will try to protect this place, even if they were told not to.’

All of that was explained by Cane long time ago when he took Iris to the family’s burial ground months ago for the first time and for her that made sense, because no matter what, even if it was only the remaining of the dead bodies of the people that they knew, buried deep in the ground, there would always be a sentiment there.

Even so, a pack tomb was not something that could be built anywhere and abandoned, therefore, it was built closest to Goffa mountain, the mountain that stretched across two pack, this was also a strategic point for a battle.

However, how could Iris sit idly when she learned someone disturbed her baby!? There was no way she would stay still and let that happened!

If Iris had to kill her way to stop them, she would!

"Luna, please... calm your anger, you need to think about this thoroughly, you can’t be impulsive," Aliana said, she tried to stop Iris from rushing out of the pack house and went to the Goffa mountain herself. "Alpha Cane will handle this matter, you don’t need to worry. I believe the alpha will do what he needed to do. Alpha Cane must have gone to the family tomb’s himself."

Not only Crystal, but it was the place where his family rested. Cane must be very enraged by now and more affected by their enemy’s move.

"Then I will meet with him in the Goffa Mountain," Iris said sternly. She stood up and was about to leave the room when Aliana stopped her again, which made her upset. "Step back, Aliana."

Aliana shook her head.

After the crows managed to be burned, the bleak winter sky could be seen again, but this weather made anyone restless and depress.

Currently, they were in the alpha and luna’s bedroom, while Hanna was holding baby Rora without saying much. Aliana tried her hardest to stop Iris from giving up on her rationality and dashed toward danger.

"No, Luna, please. Don’t do this..." Aliana pleaded. "Let the alpha handled it."

"Step back, Aliana," Iris repeated what she said. Her voice grew deep and cold when she spoke. She looked like someone else entirely, malice laced in her bright blue eyes, as she shoved Aliana aside, but the latter didn’t budge.

"I can’t let you go, luna." Aliana’s voice was firm.

Meanwhile, Hanna was about to reason with her too, but Iris already glared at her. "Don’t get involved in this Hanna. I want you to take care of Rora." her voice filled with warning, forcing Hanna to sit down again.

Hanna was only a maid, thus when Iris used her luna’s voice, she was rendered speechless and was unable to retort.

However, Aliana was different. "Luna, please, don’t go. This is not right for you to go out there."

Iris stared at her hand that grabbed her shoulders tightly, preventing her from going away. She had lost her baby once, she was not going to lose her twice.

"Once again, move aside, Aliana." Iris didn’t raise her voice, neither she was having a mental breakdown, but her calmness only gave chill down their spine.

"No, I can’t do that..." Aliana was here to protect her, for Iris to go to Goffa mountain recklessly, it would only kill herself.

Yet, before Aliana could do something else, she felt this sharp pain in her chest that sent her to her knees, as she clutched her chest. It felt like her heart was being squeezed tightly by an invisible hands.

"Aliana!" Hanna stood up, she was about to rush toward her, but Iris’s gaze stopped her in her track, there was something ominous and malice about the way her missy stared at her.

She had known her missy for so long and this was the first time she saw her like this.

Iris looked vengeful.

Outside of the door, Iris met with her other five warriors, who looked at her with the same grief like Aliana gave to her, but they were stunned to see Aliana was in so much pain, bending her body, while gasping for air. The pain rendered her unable to move.

"Wh- what happened here?" Zephyr looked alarmed. "Aliana what happened with you?! Someone, get grace here!"

Otis went to get Grace, but Eron and Dyne noticed how Iris was about to leave. "Luna, you can’t go!" Dyne cried out.

However, before he could touch the luna and stopped her, he felt this pain on his chest and was sent into the same state like Aliana.

"What is this?" Kian was flabbergasted, so did Eron.

"Luna?" Eron didn’t believe this was their luna, who had done this. How she could do it? But then, they discovered a lot unimaginable thing that their luna could do recently. "Luna! You can’t go!"

Yet, before Eron could approach Iris, he felt the same pain like Aliana and Dyne felt, while Iris walked away from them, without them being able to stop her.

"What now?!" Kian asked Zephyr.

"Go... go and stop her..." Aliana said between her pain. "Stop the luna... she could die if she went to the mountain."

That was the first thing they would do, they knew once the news about it reached Iris, she would have a strong reaction, but this was not what they expected.

Not to mention no one could actually stop her. Everyone, who came to her would feel this pain that sent them unable to move. They didn’t know where this pain came from, but as ridiculous as it sounded, no one could stop her from going.

Iris went to the stable and climbed on the back of the first horse she saw. Her expression remained impassive, as if she couldn’t feel anything, but her eyes burned with hatred.

Some of the people had gone to the safety place, just in case, though there were still a lot more, who stayed behind.

But, at the gates, Iris saw Lou, he had been waiting for her.

"Are you going to Goffa mountain?" Lou asked, he knew Iris would go. It would be very strange if she didn’t, but what surprised him the most was the fact she could escape from her warriors.

Iris stopped the horse. "Come with me," she said coldly.

Lou grinned. "Sure!"
