Chapter 753: LURE THEM OUT OF THE PACK

True to her words, legions of warriors were here, they marched for days to reach the Howling Wolf pack without stopping at all, since they were infused by black magic. This kind of black magic that Iris felt from them, very strong and imposing.

Cane led his warriors, as he stood next to Cedric, who led his own knights, the two of them were standing side by side, at the front line. In the distance, they could see the legion of the warriors. They were still in their human form, while the person leading them were people that Cane had expected.

It was alpha Gallot and alpha Nolan. The two alphas marched their own warriors here. Behind the two alphas, there was a fancy carriage. No one knew, who was inside there, but Cane assumed it would be lady Cyan or Decratic himself.

From afar, alpha Gallot raised his hand and the people behind him immediately stopped. They created a distance between them, safe enough to ready themselves if Cane suddenly wanted to attack them without any negotiation.

Normally, alpha Gallot and alpha Nolan’s warriors would be in disadvantage to have a battle right now, because they had traveled for days, there was no way tremendous distance didn’t wear them out, but since they were infused by dark magic, they didn’t feel any tiredness at all.

This kind of warriors were the same like the one that attacked Howling Wolf pack months ago. They were hard to be killed.

"Like when you wiped out the Black Market?" Cane asked, the corner of his lips quirked up and the way he looked at alpha Gallot as if he was saying how idiot he was. "The moment, the sea is open for the ships, people from Karam continent and Andelus will surely raze your pack for what you have done to their people."

Not to mention those people had been trying to find an opening to invade Ogregon continent, thus what alpha Gallot did could be a perfect reason for their invasion.

"Kill him and take your warriors back to your pack and I will send back your son," Cane said.

Hearing that alpha Nolan scoffed. "Do you think I will agree to that when I am already here? I can kill all of your people and take my son back right now!"

Cane nodded. "Sure." His eyes turned icy, as killing intent emanated from his body, even Cedric felt uncomfortable to be beside the alpha. "You are more than welcome to collect his body."

Alpha Nolan startled, he clenched his fists tightly to compose himself upon hearing what Cane said. He really wanted to rip his face off and skin him alive! Alpha Gerald should have killed him and exterminated his people!

Alpha Gallot actually laughed when he heard that. "You don’t have it in you to kill an innocent child, Cane!"

"Try me." Cane expression didn’t change at all when he said that. He looked cold blooded enough to make alpha Nolan thought he really would go along with his threat.

Yet, alpha Gallot scowled. "The Serafim is on your side, I don’t believe she will let that happen!" He glanced at Cedric, who was standing next to Cane.

"We don’t involve ourself in this continent’s matter. Alpha Cane can do as he pleased." Cedric put his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"CANE!" Alpha Nolan roared angrily. He glared at Cane, as if he was going to kill him. "Hand me my son or I swear, I will kill your child too! I will make you watch when I fed her to the monster!"

"I will use that as a reference," Cane said calmly.

"You!" alpha Nolan lost it. "You caused the death of my daughter! And now you want to kill my son too?! Surrender and hand over your luna and the Serafim! We will spare the rest of your pack member!"

Cedric’s face turned dark when he heard that. There was no way he would hand over the Serafim to this jerk.

"See you in the battlefield," Cane said and then walked back toward the pack house, where they opened the gates and let the two of them in. This probably would be a long and hard battle.

Meanwhile, alpha Gallot and alpha Nolan stood in front of the Howling Wolf pack’s fortress, they stared at the gates that were closed, as the alpha and the knight’s figure disappeared.

"Don’t even think about betraying our king, you can produce another child, but it will be impossible if you are dead," alpha Gallot growled, as he gave alpha Nolan a warning glance.

Needless to say, alpha Nolan contemplated Cane’s order, though the thought of it was only a brief second contemplation and he didn’t have any mean to go on with that, but it was worth to note.

Alpha Nolan glared back at alpha Gallot. "I am not that stupid!"

Both of them then went to their warriors and approached the fancy carriage. They knocked on the door and not long after someone opened it from inside and let the two of them to go in.

Meanwhile, the other warriors started to build tents. Tomorrow would be the beginning of a long and hard day.

"What now?" Alpha Nolan asked Aria. His eyes fixed on this supposed to be dead woman.

Inside the fancy carriage, it was Aria and lady Cyan, both of them came all the way here to capture the luna, the Serafim and the lycan, because Decratic wanted them all.

Meanwhile, their other forces gained control from the other pack in the south. Currently, there were an on going battle in each pack and this far, there were two southern packs that was under their control by now.

"Where else we can enter the pack?" Alpha Nolan didn’t remember Aria at all, though he was reminded that she was Leana’s personal maid. His mind was too precious to remember insignificant person like her.

But, what pissed him off was this maid acted like a noble.

Aria lifted her head lazily, she stared at alpha Nolan nonchalantly, for a former maid like Aria, she was sure very bold to have such attitude toward her former alpha, but in her heart, Cane was the only alpha. She couldn’t care less about anything else.

"They must have closed all the secret doors after the first attack." What Aria meant by the first attack was when the battle in the Goffa mountain transpired, which killed the king. "But, I know a way how to make them out of their fortress. We can deal with them there."

It was very obvious that Cane would have closed all the secret passageway toward the pack house after that attack, especially when he learned that Aria was behind all of this.

With the fact of how smart he was, he must have taken a precaution.

However, Aria knew how to lure them out of the pack house, they could deal with them there.

Cane was talking with Cedric and Koda about the strategy they would use to go against their enemy. It wouldn’t be easy, since they were well aware their enemy were using black magic and those warriors had been infused with one.

Cane had ordered someone to call Lou, but before the merchant could come, a guard had informed him something atrocious.

"Alpha!" the guard rushed toward the fortress to meet with Cane and immediately knelt in front of him. "This is so bad. Our enemy destroyed the family’s burial ground!"

Family burial ground was where all the alpha’s family was being buried and not too long ago, Cane and Iris had to bury their daughter there.

The grief they had was still very fresh, but now their enemy destroyed their daughter’s memorial place!

Cane’s eyes flickered to golden color, while his claws stabbed his palms and drew blood. Killing intent emanated from his body, he looked like he was going to go for a massacre.

Everyone around the alpha took two steps back, they were dreadful by the sight of how enraged Cane was right now.

However, Cane was not the only person who had this reaction, once the news reached Iris, she let out a rare murderous aura that made anyone trembled when they saw her.
