The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 658: HEARTBROKEN LIL THING

Chapter 658: HEARTBROKEN LIL THING

The letter that Redmond supposed to deliver to alpha Colter from the Red Claw pack, was in lady Cyan’s hand right now. This letter contained with some important detail about how Cane would counter the attack from the royal warriors.

Lady Cyan sat down on the head table, while alpha Gallot stood in front of her, waiting for her instruction.

There was no one else inside this room, but the two of them and silence that had lingered in the air was a little bit uncomfortable.

Alpha Gallot heard what happened in the Howling Wolf pack and the rumor about how lady Cyan had killed the king with black magic. The king’s body couldn’t be found, because the monster from the Goffa Mountain had devoured his remains.

It was a horrendous thing to hear, especially for a sovereign like king Aeon, to have his life ended in such cruel way. There was no ceremony for him as well, because after that, the power struggle started almost right away.

Alpha Gallot was not really sure what was going on, but the thing was; lady Cyan held so much power now, despite anything and no one could confirm whether she was indeed a black magic user or not. She looked as calm as ever, but this calmness reached the point, it was very disturbing. Her presence was intimidating and demanding your full respect and attention.

"Bring your warrior to aid the warrior from Golden Light pack." Lady Cyan put down the letter and lifted her head to look at alpha Gallot. "Bring that man with you too."

’That man’ that lady Cyan indicated was Redmond. He accepted lady Cyan’s offer and now he would work to destroy Cane and all the pack in the south.

Lady Cyan then scribbled something and handed it over to alpha Gallot. "Tell him to bring this letter as a reply from alpha Colter to Cane."

Alpha Gallot lifted his brows. He smirked viciously. Now they knew Cane’s movement and his trusted man betrayed him, they could play with his strategy and messed things up for Cane and Red Claw pack, since they were the only people, who stood in their way.

Winter Moon pack had turned their back against them and no matter how cunning alpha Nolan was, he couldn’t play both sides again.

"Are we going to raid the south?" Alpha Gallot’s eyes glinted.

"Yes." Lady Cyan had planned everything and weighed pros and cons of the situation. Since the Serafim was here and the knights from the Holy Kingdom would arrive at the harbor in Winter Moon pack, it would be better if they were going all out and handled Cane and the south first. That man had been a scourge.

But before that, of course, lady Cyan would expose him first. He was the lycan.

Her master told her not to kill Cane, because he was the one, who would deal with him. Lady Cyan was not sure how he would handle it, but she had no doubt, Cane was dead the moment her master set his eyes on him.

The lycan was a cursed creature after all, probably by extracting him from Cane, Decratic would gain more power. If her father only managed to halfway do the job, her master would definitely be able to finish it.

Cane, Iris and the Serafim... Decratic would deal with these three people.

"Kill everyone, but let Redmond hands over Cane by himself to prove his loyalty." Lady Cyan’s plan was clear. She was going all out and brought a full war to Cane and his people.

Even if he had the lycan, he wouldn’t be able to handle such scale of war.

Lady Cyan was not war strategist, but seeing their current situation and how they had an upper hand against this alpha, even a child knew how to play this game.

This was an absolute win for them.

==============================

"Shift! Or they will be killed!"

Arthur and Mal shifted into their human form and growled at the warrior from the Winter Moon pack, they were being surrounded and couldn’t manage to reach the secret passageway when a dozen warriors caught up to them.

Abel, the five years old boy from the orphanage had his tender neck between a wolf fangs, he was crying because of the pain, while one warrior in his human form, raised the baby from the orphanage above his head, he was ready to throw the baby girl to the ground. Another warrior held the two years old girl from the orphanage by her neck, she was suffocated, her face had turned blue, as she struggled to breath.

Meanwhile, Joyce, Celia and Leena were crying out of fear for the the other two children.

"Release them!" Arthur snarled. Nea didn’t move now, her little body hang limply in the air, while the warrior still held his tight grip around her neck.

"Put her down! You kill her!" Mal roared viciously, he wanted to go and kill the warrior, who held Nea, but if he moved, there would be another warrior, who snatched one of the girls and probably they wouldn’t hesitate to kill the other two.

It was only Arthur and Mal, who survived this, while the other three warriors with them had died during the battle.

Meanwhile, Haco was sitting on the ground, quietly. He seemed not to be able to comprehend the situation and stared at them blankly. He had completely lost his mind at this point.

"Put her down, you bastard!" Arthur growled. "Put her down!"

They should have been able to reach the secret passageway if it was not for Haco, who threw a tantrum and wanted to go back to get his precious pocket. They didn’t know what that damn pocket was, but this old sorcerer runaway from them to get his precious thing, which he forgot to bring in the first place.

Celia told them it might be magic stones, because she had never seen what was inside, since Haco not allowed her.

Only if they had dragged that old sorcerer, they wouldn’t meet with this situation! Arthur and Mal threw a nasty look toward him, while Haco was not aware with the hatred that was hurled at his direction.

"Do you want me to put her down? Fine." The warrior loosened his grip and Nea’s body dropped to the ground lifelessly.

"Nea!!!"

"Arrgh!"

"NOO!!!"

Celia, Joyce and Leena cried harder when they saw Nea didn’t move. They could see bruises started to form around her neck.

The three of them wanted to reach the poor little girl, but Mal held them back. It could be them next if he let these children came closer to the warriors.

"Ops. I think I accidentally killed her." The warrior nudged Nea’s body with his feet, but she didn’t move at all. She didn’t let out a whimper or anything that indicating what he said was not true. She died.

Mal and Arthur felt this anger in their heart, their whole body was shaking because of how upset they were.

They hated this warrior from the Winter Moon pack, they were as bad as their alpha, but it didn’t mean, they didn’t hate Haco. If the old sorcerer was not crazy enough to get the things he forgot, they wouldn’t be in this situation. The innocent child would still be alive now, so did the three warriors.

Their life wouldn’t be in danger!

"Let go of the other two!" Mal growled at them. "You promised not to hurt them!"

"Did I?" the warrior asked in mocking tone. "I have never said that, right?" he asked around to his fellow nasty warriors and they gave him the answer he wanted to hear, while laughing.

"Do you really want this baby?" the warrior, who held the baby asked, laughing viciously. "Come and get it!"

Before their eyes, they watched the baby was being hurled across the garden. As if it was not cruel enough, the warrior actually aimed a tree. He wanted to smash the baby against that tree and all of the warriors found this funny.

Everything happened so fast and neither Arthur nor Mal had time to process it, let alone to do something to help the baby. Even if they could, they were too late. They wouldn’t be able to reach the baby in time.

All they could hear was the baby’s cry helplessly, her face turned, her tiny hands grabbed the air, looking for comfort.

Her cry would forever scar them for life and the only thing Arthur and Mal could do was to cover the other three children’s eyes from witnessing the horrifying sight when the little one’s body collided against the tree.

However, before the worst could happen, they saw a flash of white and before the baby could make a collision against the tree, something big and fluffy cushion the impact and caught the little one in time.

Lil Thing slumped its back against the tree, while holding the baby in his big arms, putting her on its stomach.

A single glance from this sight, one might thing this huge creature would have crushed the little one with its big arms, but if you looked closely, the baby was unharmed.

The little one snuggled against the fluffy bear and eventually stopped crying when she felt the warmth.

"Lil Thing!" Celia cheered to see the white bear, so did the other children.

However, their happiness didn’t last for long, because of what happened, the beast, who had captured Abel, crushed his neck. Blood spurted out from the poor little boy and Arthur and Mal didn’t have time to cover the sight from the three children.

They watched this horrendous sight, but there was no scream, there was no tear, they were trembling greatly and started to hyperventilating.

"Don’t look, don’t look!" Arthur said in panic, as he blocked their sight, but it was too late. They wouldn’t be able to unsee what they already saw.

Meanwhile, the white bear put down the baby on the ground and rushed toward the beast, who had killed baby Abel. He was only five and in his short life he had fought and survived in the orphanage, but now the imbecile had taken his life.

Three beasts came toward Lil Thing, but they were not fast enough and the beast, who had killed Abel didn’t stand a chance to fight an angry beast like Lil Thing, as it easily ripped his hind legs and maimed his limbs.

The three beasts halted and watched in horror when their fellow warrior was literally being shredded into pieces by this white bear.

The beast shifted into his human form and whimpered, asking for help, yet none of his fellow warrior was brave enough to come closer. The way Lil Thing attacked this warrior was very brutal, this kind of atrocity was something they had never witnessed before.

The warrior was still asking for help when Lil Thing skinned him alive, by this time, he had lost his arms and legs, but his healing ability kept him alive to endure this excruciating pain. Only when the warrior was no longer moving and there was no more skin on his body, Lil Thing ripped off his head and threw it away.

Its white fur coated in red and the sight of this creature was truly dreadful. The ferocity it showed was something that could make anyone saw it felt the cold to their core.

Once it was done with the warrior, the white bear approached Abel’s body and nudged him, as if by doing so, it could get its little friend back, but unfortunately, the wound on Abel’s neck was too severe and he was too young, his healing ability was not yet developed well.

After that, Lil Thing whined and moved toward Nea’s body, it did the same, nudging her body and let out small whimper because its little friend didn’t move.

Lil Thing licked her face and nudged her body again, still, no response.
