Chapter 1679: Chapter 1677: Scary Examination Ability

After discussing with Crystal Harris, it was natural for her to take care of the matter. Peter Brown was also pleased, as this meant he could quickly obtain his certificate.

He wasn’t worried about the authenticity of the certificate; after all, Provincial Government University was a trustworthy institution.

Peter understood that he was taking advantage of an opportunity. The pilot test must have various benefits—the school also wanted to produce good results. There would be no harm to the school; if he passed, it would reflect genuine achievement, beyond reproach and it could even be used to promote the school. Even if he didn’t pass, the school could consider the effort a trial and include it in their summary, adding one more experience to their endeavors.

Indeed, that very evening, Peter received a call from Crystal. The school had confirmed the details of the examination—the first two days would cover the six courses in a unified manner, and the remaining subjects he needed to take would be scheduled for the last two days. The invigilation would still be open and transparent.

Having understood this, the very next day, Peter went to register and pay the fees, and then he received the examination schedule.

"Peter," I said, "how confident are you? Don’t mess this up. The school leaders are paying attention to this matter, and if you don’t pass at least two courses, I’ll lose face."

Crystal Harris, a young teacher, was anxious to produce good results and felt nervous about the whole situation.

With a slight smile, Peter said, "Don’t worry, I’ve completed all the courses and understood them. There will definitely be no problems."

"Aries, you’ve been a bit rash in handling things!"

Other teachers in the office glanced at Peter, fully aware that Crystal had arranged for this young man to have a special examination session. They shook their heads at her eagerness to get results and sighed at the unreliability of young people’s approaches these days.

Crystal, feeling impulsive for having helped Peter out without a solid base, looked at him helplessly and could only say, "Do your best."

A young male teacher said, "June, this is no simple matter. Everyone has their opinions about getting a certificate so quickly and teachers won’t be lenient during invigilation."

Regret growing inside her, Crystal, with nothing else she could do at that point, reluctantly remarked, "It’s good enough if he can pass half the courses."

Seeing the situation, Peter laughed and reassured Ms. Watson, "Don’t worry, I’m not just going to pass— I aim to achieve high scores, otherwise your efforts would be wasted."

The teachers, seeing Peter’s confidence, shook their heads once more, further convinced of his unreliability.

"Peter, I need to tell you something."

After coming out, Crystal pulled Peter aside.

"What is it?" he asked.

"The thing is, the school can’t afford to be embarrassed, so the exams for those six courses in the first two days are crucial. If you pass all of them, your exams for the remaining days will be scheduled; otherwise, there won’t be any more exams."

Peter understood and nodded, "That’s how it should be."

"Are you really that confident?"

Now Crystal’s curiosity about Peter deepened—she found herself truly unable to figure this young man out.

"Don’t worry," he assured her.

The next morning, Peter arrived early at the examination venue.

It was only after arriving that he realized how many people there were. Following a strict check, Peter took his seat in the classroom.

Cell phones were completely blocked, everyone had to hand them over, and there was even a body search—people could only bring stationery into the exam hall.

Once inside, he saw various Surveillance Probes and numerous invigilating teachers, even figures resembling leaders were present.

Seeing this, Peter understood that the examination was being taken very seriously from top to bottom.

As soon as the examination paper was handed out, Peter noticed a teacher standing beside him, watching him—that teacher turned out to be the young man from Crystal’s office who seemed to also be interested in her.

Nevertheless, that young teacher was clearly not friendly towards Peter, his gaze constantly fixated on him as if determined to prevent any possibility of cheating.

However, as the exam progressed, it was clear that Peter’s performance was disappointing for him—no matter how much he watched, Peter showed no sign of cheating.

Upon glancing over, all he saw was Peter working smoothly from start to finish.

In less than an hour, after revising his answers once, Peter confidently turned to the young teacher and said, "May I hand in my paper now?"

Many invigilating teachers looked over at this point.

The young teacher scrutinized Peter before finally saying, "Yes."

Peter stood up and walked out.

It was evident that the school also valued Peter’s examination; his paper was immediately taken to an office where several teachers started marking it right away.

Once the teachers finished correcting Peter’s paper, they were all visibly shocked.

"All correct!"

Even a seasoned professor couldn’t help but re-examine the paper, exclaiming, "Talent indeed!"

In the following days, Peter didn’t go elsewhere but focused on taking exams and resting. After finishing the last subject, he awaited the subsequent exams, knowing the arrangement for the tests would not be an issue.

Amidst his wait, the chancellor of Provincial University was stunned to see Peter’s grades laid out before him.

"All perfect scores?"

The chancellor hadn’t expected Peter to perform so impressively.

"Indeed, several of our courses are quite challenging, but Peter Brown’s approach to solving the problems was entirely unexpected. His methods even surprised the professors, with several expressing their desire to take him on as their graduate student."

After another glance at the scores, the chancellor said firmly, "Arrange the exams for the day after tomorrow immediately, and be sure to document the entire examination process thoroughly, paying close attention to the details. As for taking him on as a graduate student, I agree— if he is the talent we seek, Provincial University should indeed welcome him."

"So this kid is that awesome?"

The chancellor thus looked forward to Peter’s subsequent exams, recognizing that outstanding results would be advantageous for the entire university.

When Crystal Harris reached Peter’s cell phone, she was ecstatic. She had not expected Peter to be so formidable, to have scored perfect marks in all six subjects—a feat that caused quite a stir within the university.

"Your exams for the remaining subjects start tomorrow, are you prepared?" Now Crystal herself was even more anxious; she genuinely hoped Peter would achieve high grades, yet worried he might not perform well.
