Rylan Williams was truly excited today. Ever since he arrived at the branch office, Ivy Cooper had been actively approaching him, even making some suggestive moves that made Rylan Williams’s heart itch. After completing that, and making sure to erase any traces on the computer, he left.

Turning off the computer, Peter sat there wiping sweat off his forehead. He had only intended to make Rylan Williams lose his nerve at the critical moment, but he hadn’t expected things to escalate to the point where both of them ran out without their clothes on. What was this all about!

Peter had no idea how things would unfold between the two of them, but after thinking it over and feeling assured that even a computer expert wouldn’t detect his actions, he returned to his dorm.

Lately, Peter had been reading more, with his self-study examinations approaching. He reviewed once again, intending to pass the subjects of the exam on his first try.

While he was studying, Reid Nelson called him.

"Peter, I’ve arrived in the provincial city and checked in."

Peter hadn’t expected Reid to reach the provincial city so quickly. He said, "First understand the situation before you act, don’t rush."

"I know. I’m treating this as my own business. I have to live up to your trust. I won’t lose all your money," she assured.

"Peter, let’s go to the hospital," said Henry Carter, the company’s deputy manager, with a complicated expression as he looked at Peter.

Accompanying Henry were the head of security, Alexander Greenhill, and the head of the finance department, Warren Taylor.

None of them spoke on the car ride over, making the atmosphere quite heavy.

"Peter, something happened last night. Ivy broke a leg, so please pay more attention to the work in the office," Henry mentioned.
