Peter knew about the situation in the county as well. The high official was named Reynard Johnson, a man parachuted in from The Higher-Ups. Not much was known about him, but everyone refrained from provoking him upon considering his background.

Bruce then placed a bottle of wine on Reynard Johnson’s desk with a smile on his face.

Peter was amused; he had given the wine to Bruce as a gift, precisely to get the county leaders to help promote it.

Bruce responded with a smile, "Boss, this is wine we produced ourselves."

"What?"

Reynard Johnson was surprised and looked at the wine bottle again, saying, "You produced this wine? I haven’t heard of it before."

"Boss, isn’t there a poor village in our town that’s the worst in the county?"

"Yes, the situation in Fruitful Village is severe. You need to come up with plans for poverty alleviation."

"Boss, this wine is produced by Fruitful Village."
