Chapter 3594: Powerful Aura

Old Salamander was difficult to kill, but if he was smashed into a pile of meat and completely pulverized, then not even he would be able to regenerate. While he understood Emperor Wu, Emperor Wu understood Old Salamander just as well.

All across the Primal Beastland, all the beast-form Spirit Rebirths shivered in fear.

Yi Die and Jiu Weihu exchanged glances. They shared the same instincts as all beast-form Spirit Rebirths and astral beasts. This aura felt wrong and terrifying despite being completely unknown.

Up above, on Boundless, Astral Anura shuddered. Just what is that aura?

Wilderness God let out a deep growl. His wariness rose, and he instantly moved to stand protectively in front of the Origin Progenitor.

Lu Yin rose into the sky. He stared down at the ground. The chilling aura surrounded him. It was coming from the same direction as Old Salamander. Sure enough, he had kept something hidden.

As everyone stared, the ground started to wriggle and then crack open. A massive creature shot into the sky while letting out a deafening roar that echoed throughout the universe. The thunderous sound slammed into the ears of every creature that heard it.

The roar carried an indescribable majesty.

Lu Yin stared, dazed by the sight of the creature that had emerged from underground and risen into outer space. Is that... Stillstorm?

Still on Boundless, the Origin Progenitor and everyone else was left stunned as they stared into the distance. Is that Stillstorm?

No one had expected to encounter Stillstorm in the Spirit Nidus.

The appearance of the beast perfectly matched Stillstorm’s. This beast was Stillstorm.

The Origin Progenitor's pupils fluctuated. How can this be? Is Old Salamander actually Stillstorm? Stillstorm clearly came from our Tianyuan Megaverse, so how could they be here in the Spirit Nidus?

Old Salamander had risen into the sky from underground. His body wound through the sky as he peered down at Emperor Wu. A roar rang out, and a clawed foot fell. At this moment, Old Salamander was completely different from before.

Emperor Wu grinned broadly and let out a maniacal laugh. "Old fellow, is this your true form from your beast-form Spirit Rebirth? You actually managed to keep it hidden until now!"

His hand then rose to meet Old Salamander’s claws, the two locking together.

The two colossal creatures kept a tight hold of each other, their power vibrating and creating shockwaves. They visibly warped everything in sight, and people’s vision blurred. Such a phenomena only occurred when physical strength reached a certain level and could actually shake the universe.

This was the first time that Old Salamander had directly met Emperor Wu in a clash of raw power. This was something that not even Mang Kui had been capable of doing.

Wilderness God had once overpowered Emperor Wu with raw strength, and yet he could not compare to Emperor Wu at this moment.

Emperor Wu's strength had broken the limits of the megaverse, which was not something that Wilderness God could replicate without forming the Nine Heavens and using the Nine Heavens Transformation.

No one could say how great a transformation Wilderness God would experience after using the Nine Heavens Transformation.

Old Salamander’s other two clawed feet reached out from below to grab at Emperor Wu's face. Emperor Wu's hands were firmly clasped, which meant that he could only kick Old Salamander.

Emperor Wu kicked again, but the second blow had no effect at all. His arms were held in place by Old Salamander. Simultaneously, Old Salamander used his Eight-Gate Seal to bind Emperor Wu's strength as four sharp claws slashed through his body.

Emperor Wu staggered back. His face, chest, back, and arms had all been torn open, and his blood was pouring out. He looked utterly miserable.

Each step back left behind a tremendous amount of blood on the ground in front of him.

Everyone watched in shock. Had Old Salamander actually come out on top after clashing directly with Emperor Wu?

Lu Yin let out a breath. This is more like it. This has to be Old Salamander’s final option: revealing his true strength.

All conspiracies and schemes could only be used because of the strength that Old Salamander had already possessed. Without such strength, regardless of how he managed to use others' power, he would never be able to achieve true greatness.

Old Salamander’s combat strength and even his age matched what Stillstorm should possess. Was he really Stillstorm?

Stepping off of Boundless, Lu Yin instantly appeared close to Old Salamander. "Just who are you?"

Old Salamander turned to stare at Lu Yin. "Is the mighty Seraph Lu going to team up with Emperor Wu to face this old man?"

Lu Yin’s face fell. "I just asked who you are."

"This old man is this old man. Who else could I be?"

Lu Yin’s eyes flashed, and he used Inverse Step to move at the speed of time and get closer to Old Salamander. A hand rose, and a punch was thrown.

Old Salamander roared, and five claws reached out to meet Lu Yin’s fist.

Boom!

The impact rang out, causing countless people to cover their ears and recoil in shock.

Endless cracks radiated out from the point of impact, even snaking through the void, as they overturned the ground and the sky.

Wielder - Indestructible battle force covered Lu Yin’s arm as Infinity surged within him. While using Extremes Must Be Reversed, he threw a punch that surpassed the limits of strength, only for it to be blocked by Old Salamander, much like how he had stopped Emperor Wu’s punch earlier. Both he and Lu Yin possessed strength that exceeded the biological limits.

Old Salamander's eyes flickered with a fierce light. Despite being a human, Lu Yin’s strength was equal to Old Salamander’s. He was simply too powerful, and if he was allowed to grow any further, he would undoubtedly become the next High Seraph.

With that thought, Old Salamander’s right forefoot shot at Lu Yin. The human’s body was comparatively tiny, and it could in no way measure up to Old Salamander's. Just one claw was as large as a mountain.

Right as the blow landed, Eight-Gate Seal sequence particles surged into Lu Yin's body, sealing his strength. Then, Old Salamander's claws closed. He was going to crush Lu Yin.

However, the claws stopped halfway before they fully closed. This was not because Old Salamander did not want to close them, but rather that he was incapable of doing so.

Lu Yin released his inner universe, seizing control of the entire domain. His Karmic Dao could not be crushed by brute strength. Old Salamander was not the High Seraph. He could not crush Lu Yin.

From Lu Yin’s inner universe, countless Epoch Blades shot out to slash Old Salamander.

The massive figure neither dodged or evaded in any way. He endured all of the attacks directly. Old Salamander was fully confident in his body’s defenses.

Old Salamander could sense something, and he instantly shrank his body down to avoid the unseen attack. He stared at Lu Yin in surprise. The human had used some sort of invisible power that caused Old Salamander’s hair to stand on end.

Lu Yin waved a hand, and the spiral of karma chased after Old Salamander.

Suddenly, a voice entered his ear, "Watch out!"

Lu Yin whirled around, releasing his consciousness and using it to form a Skyshearer Millstone. From behind him, Emperor Wu’s serrated blade was slicing down, and it directly landed on the Skyshearer Millstone. A grinding sound rang out that caused people’s teeth to ache.

The serrated blade was a soft attack, but the Skyshearer Millstone was formed from consciousness, and thus it had no actual substance to it. It was able to perfectly block the serrated blade.

"Get lost! He’s mine!" Emperor Wu roared. His serrated blade pressed down harder until it sliced through the Skyshearer Millstone, continuing down towards Lu Yin and Old Salamander.

Lu Yin frowned. He had just wanted to determine Old Salamander’s identity, not interfere in Emperor Wu’s fight. As long as Emperor Wu was able to suppress Old Salamander, the results would be the same: Old Salamander would have to pay for all he had done.

However, when Lu Yin saw that Emperor Wu was injured, he had not been able to wait any longer, especially when one question came to mind: if Old Salamander really was Stillstorm, then why had he gone to the Spirit Nidus? Did the High Seraph know about this?

There was no hint of an outsider’s aura on Old Salamander. Could that also be the work of the High Seraph?

If the High Seraph intervened, then even Lu Yin and Emperor Wu together might not be able to stop the man.

That was why Lu Yin had grown anxious and taken action. He had not expected Emperor Wu to disregard everything and target even him. Was that the reaction of a beast?

Lu Yin evaded the serrated blade. Emperor Wu raised the blade once more and attacked Old Salamander, completely ignoring Lu Yin.

Old Salamander had endured being sliced by the Epoch Blades, but when facing the descending serrated blade, he quickly dodged. It was very difficult to deal with the serrated blade’s soft attack.

There was only one serrated blade, yet the slashes increased again and again. Eventually, the entire sky was filled with them, and they started to land on Old Salamander’s body.

The next moment, dozens of bleeding wounds opened up across Old Salamander’s form.

He attacked Emperor Wu with all four limbs; two were aimed at Emperor Wu’s arms in an attempt to restrain the serrated blade. The blade spun around and cut Old Salamander’s limbs, nearly severing them. He howled in pain as his other two legs stabbed their claws into Emperor Wu’s body, piercing through flesh and bone.

The ground was stained red. The Primal Beastland had never witnessed such a brutal series of battles before. First, Astral Anura had made his move, followed by Wilderness God’s fight with Emperor Wu. Then, Emperor Wu had crushed Mang Kui. After all of that, Old Salamander had revealed his true form. The ferocity of this battle surpassed even the one fought at the Umbral Deep.

Emperor Wu showed a ferocious grin as he pressed down with his serrated blade. It cut into Old Salamander’s arms, nearly cutting them off. Old Salamander instantly tried to pull his limbs back, but Emperor Wu’s body held them in place, immobilizing his opponent. Emperor Wu had purposely allowed Old Salamander’s attacks to penetrate his body, and Emperor Wu’s muscles had locked up and were refusing to let Old Salamander pull his limbs back.

"Old man, how many more of my attacks can you block?"

Old Salamander glared at Emperor Wu. "Let’s see if your Limitless Destruction or my Perfect Rebirth is stronger!"

He then allowed his forelimbs to be cut off. Bones were exposed to the air, and blood dripped off of them as they moved past the serrated blade and stabbed at Emperor Wu’s head.

Old Salamander’s white bones tore through flesh, stabbing into Emperor Wu’s neck and piercing one of his eyes.

The serrated blade swung down, viciously chopping into Old Salamander’s body and splitting his body again.

Everyone stared in astonishment. Such a unique way of fighting could only be seen when Old Salamander and Emperor Wu fought. They were both as barbaric as astral beasts and unbelievably powerful.

Lu Yin’s eyes flickered and he took a step forward. He directly appeared between Old Salamander and Emperor Wu and kicked a foot out. The attack split in two, one shooting at Emperor Wu, and the other at Old Salamander. "Get lost!"

Bang, bang!

Lu Yin had clearly kicked once, but his attack sent both Emperor Wu and Old Salamander flying. A deep footprint could be seen on Emperor Wu’s forehead, along with another on Old Salamander’s face. Lu Yin had not held back, and Old Salamander’s vision blurred.

Lu Yin raised a hand towards Emperor Wu and released the Setting Sun.
