Sins Of Her Venom
Chapter 105: Fury

Chapter 105: Fury

- Glyndon Walton:

I stared at the screen, at the deep black suit, the way the jacket framed the waist, the way the pants hugged the legs just right. It was bold, different. Something I never even considered before.

I bit my lip. Could I even pull this off?

"Are you sure I can?" I asked hesitantly. "Aren’t, like... suits for men or something?"

Kat gave me the most exasperated look.

"Glyneon," she said, tilting the phone towards me, "do you see the model? It’s a woman wearing a suit."

I looked again. The model was gorgeous, exuding confidence, and there was no mistaking the feminine energy she carried while wearing it.

Kat smirked. "And tell me, who is the man that’s gonna wear this crop top?" She pointed at the fitted, low-cut top underneath the jacket. "Because unless some dude out there is pulling this off, I think we’re looking at women’s fashion."

I swallowed.

I mean, she was right.

It wasn’t like I was looking at some stiff, traditional men’s tuxedo. This was different. Sleek, tailored, stylish.

"But..." I hesitated, still feeling weirdly unsure.

"Wouldn’t that make me look like a man?" I asked. "Would you still find me attractive? You hate men!"

Kat chuckled, shaking her head. "I don’t hate men," she said, voice amused. "I just don’t find them attractive."

She turned to face me fully, mischief gleaming in her blue eyes.

And then—

Before I could react—

Her hands shot out and grabbed my boobs.

Both.

Firmly.

I choked.

"Kat—!"

"Yeah, no," she said, shaking them.

Shaking them.

Like she was proving a point.

"It’s kinda hard to look at you and see a man," she teased, giving them a little squeeze. "With these on you."

I made a sound.

I don’t even know what sounds.

Something between a strangled gasp and a wheeze.

Because what the hell was she doing?

Kat grinned.

She squeezed again.

I turned red.

Burning red.

Like, full-body, fire-alarm, emergency-level red.

"Kat—!"

"Yup," she continued, completely unbothered. "You’re all soft and curvy and hot. I don’t see a man anywhere. Nope. Nada. Just my very, very attractive girlfriend."

My brain short-circuited.

Because—what was happening?

Her hands were still there.

Still. There.

I could feel the warmth of her palms through my shirt, the slight pressure of her fingers.

I gasped.

She finally let go, laughing at my reaction.

I grabbed a pillow and whacked her with it.

"Jesus Christ, Kat!"

"What?" she said, dodging my next swing, her grin devious. "I was just proving a point!"

"That was not how you prove a point!"

She snickered. "You’re just mad because I’m right."

I huffed, crossing my arms, my face still hot as hell.

"I hate you."

"No, you don’t," she said smugly, flipping onto her stomach and looking at me like she knew exactly what she’d just done to me.

I glared.

She winked.

I groaned.

This woman was going to be the death of me.

And yet—

When I glanced back at the suit on the screen, something inside me shifted.

Maybe—just maybe—I could pull this off.

———

Dinner was ready.

Kat and I took our time making our way downstairs, the warmth of the evening wrapping around us like a comfortable blanket. I was still thinking about that suit, about how I might go for it, about how Kat’s hands had just been all over me not even an hour ago—

And then—

We stepped into the living room.

And I froze.

It was chaos.

Nicholas stood in the middle of the room, his face red with anger, his voice shaking the walls.

"What the fuck is this bully doing here?" he spat, jabbing a finger at Alex, who stood stiffly a few feet away.

Alex didn’t say a word. Didn’t even flinch.

Not even as Nicholas stormed towards him.

Malakai immediately stepped in, his arm firmly blocking Nicholas’ path, pushing Alex back as if to shield him.

Nancy was at Nicholas’ side, holding him back with their father.

Nicholas’ fury burned through the entire house.

I could see it.

I could feel it.

And then—

His gaze flicked past Alex—

And landed on me.

With Kat.

His anger ignited like gasoline hitting fire.

His eyes went red.

And this time—

His rage was aimed at me.

"What the fuck is she doing here?" he shouted, eyes wild as they locked onto me. "What the hell is going on? Is my house full of fucking bullies now?!"

His voice cracked through the room like a whip.

The tension tripled.

Nicholas was furious.

Beyond furious.

His breathing was uneven, harsh, and shaky.

He hated me.

I knew it.

Kat squeezed my hand before pulling me toward the couch, sitting down beside him while the rest of the family tried to calm him down.

She leaned in, her voice low but steady.

"Nicholas," she said. "Glyndon is my girlfriend."

The words hung in the air like a bomb.

I saw the exact moment Nicholas processed them.

His whole body tensed, his fists clenched, his jaw tight.

His eyes darkened.

"You’re joking," he said flatly.

"I’m not," She answered.

He exhaled sharply.

"I hate this," he muttered. "I hate her. I hate everything about this."

Kat’s fingers twitched in my hand, but she stayed calm.

"You don’t know her now," she said. "She’s not the same person she was."

"I don’t give a fuck if she changed," Nicholas snapped. His voice was sharp, bitter. "She bullied you. For years. You expect me to just get over that? To accept her? To sit here and act like this is okay?"

I swallowed.

His rage was like a storm, slamming into the room, drowning everything else out.

I wasn’t expecting him to forgive me.

But fuck, it still stung.

Kat took a slow breath, keeping her eyes locked on her brother.

"I know you’re mad," she said. "I get it. But I like her."

Nicholas’ jaw clenched.

His nostrils flared.

His shoulders rose and fell in heavy, angry breaths.

And then—

Out of nowhere—

Malakai spoke.

His voice was hesitant.

But firm.

"...Alex and I are dating."

Silence.

Complete.

Total.

Silence.

I swear, the air in the room froze.

Nicholas slowly turned to his older brother, his expression stunned.

His gaze flicked to Malakai’s outstretched hand—

To Alex, who took it.

Who held it back?

Nicholas’ lips parted slightly.

But no words came out.

Nancy blinked, staring.

Even their parents looked stunned.

They weren’t shocked because Malakai liked men—

They were shocked because it was Alex.

Because it was him.

Nancy turned to Alex next, her eyebrows furrowed.

"You’re into men?" she asked, her voice genuinely confused.

Alex hesitated.

But nodded.

She exhaled sharply, rubbing her temples.

"Wow," she muttered. "I mean—wow."

The family absorbed the information, their faces shifting between confusion, realization, and acceptance.

They weren’t angry.

They weren’t judging.

But they were still processing.

Nicholas, however, wasn’t having it.

He still looked pissed.

Still fuming.

Still glaring.

And when he finally spoke, his voice was cold as hell.

"I don’t give a fuck if you’re dating my brother," he snapped at Alex. "I still want you out of our house."

"And I want her out, too."

His eyes flicked back to me, burning.

I swallowed hard.

Nicholas wasn’t forgiving us.

Not tonight.

Maybe not ever.
