Sigil Online: I became the duke's third son -
Chapter 41
Chapter 41: Chapter 41
Kian was beheading one bandit after the other, ruthlessly killing them with fluid motions as if he had been doing this for years.
With a single slash and no wasted movements, he was moving through the hundreds of bandits, killing them one by one while Luciano and Kafele were fighting for their lives around the edges of the camp.
Keeping an eye on the two, Kian glanced at the wolf that was causing havoc and the spirits that were throwing elemental spears at the bandits as well. A smile on his face that was covered in bandit blood.
The bandits that saw him felt like they saw a hallucination. One moment he was there; the next he wasn’t, and they could see their own bodies.
It was a true massacre; Kian was not holding anything back after hearing their earlier conversation; he was enraged. Using his sigil to the fullest, he was making quick work of the bandits.
Then he felt a dangerous presence appear behind him, and turning quickly around, he glanced at three rough-looking men; one was holding a large one-handed ace, glaring at Kian.
The other two were holding swords and also glaring fiercely at Kian. "How dare you!" The rough-looking man with silver hair and brown eyes shouted.
The man in the middle stopped him from rushing straight toward Kian, putting his hand in front of the silver-haired man. "Chill out, Dominique, he’s clearly strong; let’s think this through." The man in the middle cautioned.
Looking at Kian, he smirked, "And you, who are you? And why are you doing this?" He inquired, looking around the camp, and all he saw was destruction and bodies lying around. Blood flowing like a crimson river.
Kian shrugged, "I’m just the butler that does what his lord has ordered."
The man in the middle raised an eyebrow. ’Just a butler? Who would believe that nonsense? Grasping his one-handed axe tightly, he glared at Kian.
"Join us or die!" he declared.
The two other rough men standing slightly behind him started grinning, anticipating the battle that was about to ensue.
Now Kian raised an eyebrow; he chuckled as he grabbed a handkerchief from his breast pocket and wiped his dagger clean. "Join you scum? Don’t make me laugh," he sneered.
Dropping the handkerchief on the ground and readying his stance.
The three men nodded at each other and split up, surrounding Kian and making sure he couldn’t flee or try to take down even more of their men.
Kian scoffed, looking at the three men surrounding him. Then, glancing between two of them, he heard low growls, and a smirk appeared on his face.
Without hesitation he charged at the man holding the one-handed axe, his movements so fast the men could barely follow his silhouette with their eyes.
And Kian made no sound when he moved, like he was a ghost. Striking toward the man’s neck. The sound of metal clashing reverberated through the camp.
And Kian looked surprised at the man holding his axe in such a bizarre way. That he had never seen before. Licking his lips, "Interesting," he muttered.
Charging at the man once more, not paying attention to the two sword-wielding fellows, he was confident they would be taken care of by the time he was finished with this man.
The axe-wielding man was fast and precise while wielding his large axe; Kian assumed it had to do with his sigil.
The two went back and forth; first, Kian went on the offensive. But the man kept blocking all his strikes.
The sound of metal clashing echoed through the camp; Kafele and Luciano and their opponents were momentarily stunned seeing the battle between Kian and the bandit leader.
It was beautiful; speed, strength, and precision all combined to perfection. Neither gave an inch. After the bandit captain dodged a strike from Kian, it was now his turn to go on the offensive.
And using the large axe, he pushed Kian back, who could only use his dagger to deflect the axe and then dodge. If he tried to parry, it might end badly with how nimble his opponent was.
They kept going for minutes. They battle, looking like a beautiful dance under the moonlight. The sound of the metal clashing was the music.
’I still have a long way to go.’ Thought Luciano, looking at Kian’s battle with the bandit leader.
Glancing at Kafele and seeing him also drawn to the fight, the two couldn’t help but grumble that not all the ruffians were taken care of already; they wanted nothing more than to just look and learn from Kian’s battle.
But the circumstances did not allow for it; Luciano looked at the ruffians in front of him and gritted his teeth. activating his sigil to the fullest to try and clear them out as fast as possible.
Kafele did the same after a bandit grazed his cheek with their sword because he was too focused on Kian’s battle. His whole blade turned red, and he began cutting through the bandits together with their weapons like jelly.
Meanwhile Bart and Vira were waiting for the perfect opportunity to kill the two other leaders that were standing close to Kian and luring for their own opportunity to strike him down.
Then they saw it: the two had turned their backs fully on them, and Bart, without hesitation, rushed forward, opening his mouth wide and crushing his skull, instantly killing one of them.
The other one looked around in a panic. But it was too late; Vira had charged her energy cutter and launched it at the man’s neck. Cleanly severing his head.
Both of their lifeless bodies fell to the ground; Bart started eating it with relish, the strong prey he had hunted.
Vira kept floating around, looking at Kian and the leaders battle as it seemed to be coming to the climax.
Kafele and Luciano were seated atop a wooden shack, also looking at the fight with sparkling eyes.
