Rise of the Harem King
Chapter 119: The older sister.

Chapter 119: The older sister.

As soon as Davi left the laboratory, his eyes met a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes, shimmering like lakes under the moonlight, reflecting silver under the full moon’s glow.

Standing before him was a woman of ethereal beauty. Her skin, pale and delicate like the finest porcelain, was adorned with features so perfect they seemed sculpted by a master’s hand.

Moreover, an enigmatic yet deeply inviting smile danced on her lips, radiating an aura of sophistication and an intriguing mystery that made her even more captivating.

Yet, the boy couldn’t help but notice how much her face resembled Sylvia’s. Still, something about her features gave the impression of someone older and wiser almost like a more mature version of Sylvia.

She carried herself with the elegant posture of a lady, appearing to be around 25 or 26 years old. She also wore a strong perfume that was impossible to ignore.

Additionally, Davi immediately noticed she was much taller than his younger sister. She was nearly his height, whereas Sylvia barely reached his chest.

That said, when it came to her bust, she was no bigger than Sylvia. Both she and her sister were completely flat-chested.

Even so, the girl’s body was very beautiful. She was slim and graceful, with an absolutely gorgeous face, making her the perfect runway model.

And her beauty fit perfectly with the extravagant clothes she loved to wear.

"Where are you looking?" the woman suddenly asked, noticing the boy’s eyes resting on her nonexistent chest.

"Well..." Davi hesitated for a moment, feeling the pressure under the irritated gaze of the beautiful silver-haired woman.

Still, his mind worked quickly, and he soon noticed the beautiful silver necklace she wore, with a pendant shaped like a clock.

"I was just curious about your necklace," he said. "It’s very beautiful, but why a clock?"

Hearing that, the girl laughed softly; she had obviously noticed that Davi had just come up with a last-minute excuse. Still, she found his quick thinking admirable.

Besides, from the start, she hadn’t been even a little annoyed, she had just wanted to tease him a bit.

"Indeed, it is very, very beautiful, despite being small," she said, puffing out her nonexistent chest. "You can look as much as you like; it was a gift from my mother."

"I see..."

In the end, she didn’t explain why it was a clock, and Davi didn’t press her for an answer either, after all, he wasn’t really interested.

"I imagine you’re Davi, correct?" she finally said. "My name is Hina. I’m the older sister of the girl you stole."

Suddenly, the air around the beautiful woman grew heavier. Even though she wore a big smile on her face, her eyes were far from friendly.

She studied Davi at length, waiting for him to say something.

"I didn’t steal her," the boy naturally tried to defend himself. "She chose on her own to stay behind in the rift and train to become stronger."

However, his defense didn’t seem to convince the woman in the slightest, as she continued to watch him with a piercing gaze.

"Sylvia doesn’t make decisions on her own," she said with a sigh that sounded more like a lament.

Unfortunately, that girl had been raised never to decide or think deeply about things for herself. She was instructed from a very young age to always follow someone else’s orders. And even though Hina had tried, she hadn’t been able to change that even a little. It seemed impossible to reprogram Sylvia’s brain to think by itself.

She doubted Davi would succeed either, especially after knowing the girl for only a few days. Besides, what she wanted to discuss had nothing to do with Sylvia staying behind to train.

"Amelia already told me she’ll be back in about three months. I’m not worried about that," Hina explained.

"I see," Davi said, taking a step back. "So what would you like to talk to me about?"

"Well..." she thought for a long moment, bringing her fingers to her lips and lightly touching them.

Then, in an instant, she took a step forward, coming within inches of the boy, staring deeply into his eyes.

"How about we start by talking about the fact that you took her first kiss?" Davi could feel the girl’s warm breath against his lips as she spoke.

But he couldn’t help but wonder one thing: how did she know all that? Who could have told her about it?

Alexia wouldn’t do something like that without permission. And he wasn’t even sure if Ember or Lara knew about it.

Davi also wasn’t sure what was going on in Morrigan’s head, but he knew she would never do anything to harm him. Besides, she preferred to avoid creating conflicts, so he couldn’t imagine she was the one who had spoken.

That left only two possibilities: either it was Sophia, or Hina was simply bluffing.

If it was the latter, there was no problem, because Davi didn’t let any emotions show on his face.

"You don’t need to be so tense," Hina said as she finally took a few steps back. "And don’t try to hide anything from me, okay?" she added in a light but threatening tone.

Then she took the lead and began walking toward the place where she had parked her car.

"Come on, follow me. This isn’t a good place for us to talk."

Davi was tired, and he really would have preferred not to deal with any more problems that day. But ignoring that woman didn’t seem like a good idea either.

He just walked with quick steps until he reached the silver-haired beauty, who suddenly stopped in front of a luxury sports car.

She took the key out of her pocket, and as soon as she pressed the button on the key fob, the vehicle’s headlights flickered in response, briefly illuminating the surroundings.

Davi didn’t recognize the car’s brand, but it appeared to be an imported model, with aerodynamic lines and an impeccable finish.

Then, with another click from Hina, the vehicle’s doors opened smoothly, rising upwards like the wings of a mechanical bird, revealing an interior of pearly white leather and carbon fiber details.

Upon entering, Davi couldn’t help but be impressed by the interior. The seat was extremely comfortable, and all the finishing was perfect.

Soon after him, Hina got in without saying a word and adjusted the rearview mirror before turning on the radio and putting on some electronic music.

Davi didn’t like the music at all, but he didn’t complain either.

Then Hina accelerated. The woman loved speed, and since the streets were deserted that night, she didn’t hold back.

Anyway, she could use her powers to avoid an accident if necessary.

And Enki didn’t have strict regulations regarding car speed, since accidents almost never happened. And even when they did, they were rarely lethal or even dangerous.

Because of that, in just a few minutes, they arrived at a restaurant that, just from the facade, looked far too expensive for Davi to even think about wasting a glass of water there.

"Don’t worry, it’s on me today," Hina said with a gentle smile, noticing the boy’s concern.

She then parked the car and walked over to the guard stationed in front of the restaurant. After exchanging a few words with him, the man smiled and called over a waiter to guide the two inside.

"Here we can have a proper conversation," she said, twirling the car key between her fingers before putting it away.

The two followed the waiter to a private room that had been prepared for them.

The waiter quickly handed each of them a menu, then took three steps back, saying he would take their orders whenever they were ready.

And Davi nearly fell off his chair when he saw the prices on the menu — they were even higher than he had expected.

"Don’t worry about it, just order whatever looks the most appetizing," Hina said with a soft laugh, clearly amused by the boy’s reaction. "We can discuss the important matters after the food arrives."

Reluctantly, Davi picked something, and Hina soon gave their order to the waiter, who wrote it down and quickly left.

Davi had expected Hina to immediately start questioning him about Sylvia once they were alone, but instead, she simply asked him a few irrelevant things.

Questions like: his height, favorite food, and other random curiosities. And, in general, Davi didn’t have much to say in response.

For most of his life, he hadn’t had many choices, so he didn’t have many preferences either.

But that meaningless conversation didn’t last long, because in less than ten minutes, their food arrived.

After serving the table, the waiter told them he could be called at any time by pressing a button under the table, and then he left.

Only then did Hina turn her intense gaze back to the boy.

And her first real question was:

"What are your intentions with my dear younger sister?"
