Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer -
Chapter 140: Mind control!!
Chapter 140: Mind control!!
All heads swiveled towards the entrance of the training ground as the Dean strode into the room, his face a mask of cold authority.
"This..." Adrian began, momentarily speechless, but he quickly recovered. "The Boss of the simulation is far above the Divine stage---"
"---So?! What if it is above that stage?" the Dean cut him off sharply, his voice leaving no room for argument. "You lost because of your own carelessness and lack of skill. Now, simply watch and learn as the others find a way to defeat it."
"You...?" Adrian stammered, utterly dumbfounded by the Dean’s dismissive response.
".....?!"
The rest of the students exchanged bewildered glances, completely taken aback by the Dean’s seemingly callous attitude.
The Dean walked with measured steps towards the large monitor displaying the ongoing simulation. His gaze fixed on the formidable armored Fox on the screen.
’Someone is undoubtedly manipulating this creature...’ he thought grimly. ’We are fortunate, however, that they don’t seem to have grasped the intricacies of the death settings, otherwise explaining this mass casualty would be an utter nightmare.’ He then turned his attention to the remaining students in the simulation, Chloe and Leyla.
’Hmm... Let’s observe how my most promising disciple manages to navigate this threat.’

[Training Map.]
"You! You can multiply?!" Leyla exclaimed in terror, her eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at the three identical, heavily armored golden foxes that had materialized and were advancing towards them. The original, even more imposing, remained seated on the throne.
***By testing your strength, I now possess a complete understanding of all your skills and attack tactics... None of you will survive this encounter.***
The lead fox stated, its golden eyes fixed intently on the three remaining students.
"Can we even fight this thing?" Mike asked, his grip tightening nervously on the hilt of his sword.
"That beast is clearly at the Sky stage, while those three clones are all radiating Divine stage power! What do you think?!" Chloe hissed back, her voice laced with frustration and a hint of despair.
"Then... then we have no chance of winning," Mike muttered, his shoulders slumping slightly.
***KILL THEM.***
With the chilling command, the three golden clones shot forward with incredible speed, each one targeting one of the remaining students.
"Attack!!!" Chloe yelled, her voice filled with a desperate resolve, and the three lunged forward to meet their formidable adversaries.

[Some moments Later.]
Christopher landed silently on the ground, his movements fluid and graceful. His keen eyes scanned the devastated surroundings, taking in the lifeless forms of Leyla, Advika, Katherine, and the others scattered across the landscape. A deep frown etched itself onto his face. He raised his head, his gaze locking onto the armored Fox seated on the throne, who in turn was looking down at him with a disturbingly smug smile.
***What do we have here? Another insect crawling into my domain?***
The fox’s voice echoed through the space, its tone laced with amusement and a hint of menace as it stared intently at Christopher.
"So, you are the Boss of this simulation?" Christopher asked calmly, folding his arms behind his back, his unwavering gaze fixed on the powerful beast.
’Creating a simulation of this complexity is no simple task... What in the world is Miss Monica thinking by allowing something like this to happen?’ A wave of concern washed over him.
"Let me take care of this overgrown rodent!"
Christopher glanced over his shoulder as Phoenix arrived, stopping softly behind him, her expression determined.
"That Fox is radiating power at the Sky stage. Are you certain you can handle it?" he asked, his tone flat, masking the concern he felt.
"Leave it to me," Phoenix replied confidently, a flicker of fierce determination in her eyes. With a swift flick of her wrist, a magnificent sword engulfed in vibrant crimson flames materialized in her hand.
"I will deliver its head to you!"
Without waiting for Christopher’s response, Phoenix surged forward with explosive speed, running up the stairs towards the throne, her movements so rapid that even the Fox on the throne frowned in surprise.
’That girl... She is at the peak of the Master level... But...’ Christopher sighed inwardly, knowing the immense gap in power.
"Die!!" Phoenix roared, leaping high into the air, her flaming sword arcing downwards towards the Fox’s head in a powerful strike.
’What is that girl doing? Is she insane?’ Tiamat’s concerned voice echoed in Christopher’s mind.
’There is absolutely no way a Master level, even at the peak, can hope to defeat a Sky stage beast! Isn’t she just recklessly throwing her life away?’
"She wants to prove herself to me..." Christopher chuckled softly, a hint of pride in his voice:
’My kings have always marched out victorious in countless battles, regardless of the odds. This formidable beast has merely ignited her fighting spirit, and with my presence here, she is undoubtedly holding nothing back.’
BOOOOOOM!!!!
The force of Phoenix’s single attack was so immense that it caused the massive stone pillar nearest to the throne to crack audibly, sending a cloud of dust billowing into the air.
’Her power is indeed formidable for her level, but...’ Christopher sighed again, the outcome still seeming inevitable.
***Hehehehe... You possess a commendable spirit, little one. You will make a fine puppet.***
"....?!"
Phoenix’s eyes widened in utter surprise as she saw the Fox’s claw effortlessly clamp down on the blazing tip of her sword, halting its descent mere inches from its head.
"That... That was my strongest attack! Nothing should be able to block it, not even a Divine stage beast!" she muttered in disbelief, her mind struggling to comprehend what she was witnessing.
***Hehehe... You are correct in your assessment... not even a Divine stage beast.***
The fox’s head tilted slightly as it looked up at Phoenix, its golden eyes now glowing with an ominous crimson light.
***I am not a Divine stage beast.***
"No! Get out of there!!" Christopher yelled, his voice filled with urgency and alarm.
Before Phoenix could react or even fully process his warning, the Fox unleashed a fraction of its overwhelming life force. A wave of pure energy erupted outwards, slamming into Phoenix and throwing her backward with tremendous force.
BAM!!!
BAM!!
Her body crashed violently into the cracked stone stairs, the impact sending shards of rock flying. She tumbled down the remaining steps, finally coming to a jarring halt at the bottom.
