"Hahaha... That was easy," Adrian declared, lowering his outstretched hand with a triumphant grin.

"Yes... All the points and rewards rightfully belong to us," Mariana added, a smug smirk playing on her lips.

"You dogs!!" Advika spat out, her voice laced with fury.

"Calm down, Advika," Chloe interjected, her gaze hardening as she stepped forward, her icy stare locking onto Adrian. "You do know I will kill you for this?" she hissed, her voice low and dangerous.

"Hey?! You can only do that in this simulation! And besides," Adrian retorted, folding his arms across his chest, a dismissive air about him, "the fastest gain all the rewards."

’Something isn’t right,’ Mitchell thought internally, his brow furrowed with unease as his eyes scanned their surroundings. ’If we have truly defeated the Boss, shouldn’t we have heard some sort of confirmation?’

I can’t risk that.’ she thought quickly. ’I will have to run, using my mastery of the forest to create diversions and conceal my approach.’ With that decision made, she turned and sprinted towards the dense treeline in the distance, her movements fluid and silent.

’Impossible! Something is terribly wrong!’ Monica thought frantically, her fingers fumbling as she quickly retrieved her phone.

"Dean, please, come to the training ground immediately! We have a serious situation here, fast!" she urged into the receiver, her voice tight with urgency.

The students who had been spectating looked at one another in utter confusion, their faces mirroring the shock and disbelief that Monica’s words and the Boss’s terrifying display of power had instilled in them.

In a flash of light, Adrian, Katherine, Mariana, Mitchell, and Advika reappeared in the training ground, their bodies whole and seemingly unharmed.

"I am okay," Adrian reassured her, gently caressing her back, his own gaze troubled as he looked around at the stunned faces of the other students.

"Wait for me," he whispered to Mariana before gently disengaging from the hug. He then strode purposefully towards Monica, who had just finished her urgent phone call.

"What do you mean by this, Principal Monica?!" he demanded, his voice raised in anger and disbelief. "Why is there a beast above the Divine stage in this so-called simulation?! How in the hell do you expect us to win against something like that?!"

A chorus of agreement rippled through the other students, their faces etched with the same questions and anxieties. Even Advika and Katherine, who had experienced their own brutal deaths, nodded in vehement agreement.
