Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer -
Chapter 141: Enough!
Chapter 141: Enough!
’Don’t get anywhere near her!’ Tiamat warned urgently, and Christopher froze in his tracks, sensing the immense danger.
The Fox stood up from its throne, its crimson eyes now locked intently on Christopher.
***And what do you think, insignificant human? Perhaps you would like to provide me with some actual amusement.***
The fox casually pointed a golden claw towards the unmoving form of Phoenix on the ground.
***Rise, my new slave, and demonstrate your loyalty by killing this other human!***
Christopher’s blood ran cold at the Fox’s words. His gaze dropped to Phoenix, and his eyes widened in disbelief as he saw her body begin to stir. Before his very eyes, and Tiamat’s awareness, Phoenix slowly rose from the ground, her flaming sword still clutched in her hand. But her eyes... her once vibrant eyes were now glowing with the same eerie crimson light as the Fox’s. Her gaze, devoid of any recognition, locked onto Christopher, radiating pure, unadulterated killing intent.
’That isn’t her... She is being manipulated, a victim of powerful mind control,’ Tiamat explained grimly.
"I can see that!" Christopher spat out, his fists clenching involuntarily.
***Kill him.***
The Fox commanded, its voice echoing with malevolent authority. And with terrifying speed, Phoenix shot forward, her flaming sword aimed directly at Christopher, her movements fueled by an unnatural, sinister purpose.

"I knew she would betray Christopher," one student remarked smugly.
"Are you completely stupid or just willfully blind...?! Can’t you see she is clearly being controlled by that beast?!" another student hissed back, exasperated by their friend’s lack of perception.
"Oh," the first student mumbled, scratching his head with a sheepish, dumbfounded look.
"That Beast is far too powerful..." Chloe muttered, her voice filled with apprehension. "Its clones alone effortlessly killed three of us... And now, it can also control minds... How in the world is something like that even possible to defeat?"
"It’s clearly unkillable!" Katherine added, her face pale with fear.
"Christopher should just give up and let’s end this miserable training session," Mariana said with a deep frown.
Advika stared at the ongoing simulation for a few silent seconds, her brow furrowed in thought. Then, her gaze drifted towards the Centipede, lying motionless on the ground some distance away, seemingly unaffected by the unfolding chaos.
’But... what if Christopher has a hidden ability, a way to somehow overcome this impossible odds?’ she pondered, her hope flickering slightly as she turned her attention back to the screen.
"Father... what are we supposed to do?" Monica whispered to the Dean, her voice laced with worry.
"What if that beast manages to keep that girl trapped in the simulation, not killing her but controlling her indefinitely?"
"This is... undeniably bad, truly unfortunate..." the Dean muttered, his eyes betraying a deep unease despite his outward composure.
"Let us cling to the hope that Christopher can somehow find a way to prevail... He has certainly surprised us before... Right?" He asked.
"But Dean, Christopher is still just a low-stage Master Level cultivator," Monica pointed out, her voice laced with practicality. "He stands absolutely no chance against a Sky stage beast, especially one with such terrifying abilities."
’That is undeniably true...’ the Dean conceded silently, his hope dwindling. But aloud, he stated with a forced air of authority,
"Nevertheless, he must try." He then turned his attention fully to Monica. "Have your team managed to locate the source of this... anomaly?"
"The energy signature is incredibly strange and unlike anything we’ve encountered before..." she replied, her brow furrowed in concentration.
"Our initial analysis indicates that the individual or beast responsible is not even within the city limits."
"Not in the city? This situation grows increasingly bizarre. Have you instructed your team to attempt to sever their connection to the simulation gateway?" the Dean pressed.
"They are still working on it, but the connection appears to be unusually resilient," Monica answered, her attention drifting back to the screen as Phoenix, now a puppet in the Fox’s control, lunged relentlessly towards Christopher.
"The power and skill levels of the controlled entities seem to be escalating in tandem with the Boss’s upgrades," she murmured, her voice filled with a growing sense of dread.

[Training Map.]
Christopher moved with an almost languid grace, his movements fluid and precise as he effortlessly dodged each of Phoenix’s attacks. His arms remained crossed casually behind his back, exactly as they had been since the beginning of their unsettling confrontation.
’So predictable...’ he thought, his mind analyzing Phoenix’s movements with detached precision.
’Fighting with the very moves I taught you? If you continue to rely on such familiar tactics, I won’t even have to break a sweat to disarm you.’
His body continued its intricate dance, weaving through the relentless onslaught with seemingly minimal effort.
***He can anticipate her every move before she even initiates the strike? Is his speed truly this exceptional? Or is he concealing some other, more significant ability?*** The Fox muttered to itself in a low, guttural growl, its crimson eyes narrowed in growing intrigue and a flicker of unease.
"Alright... Enough," Christopher stated calmly, his voice cutting through the tense silence.
The Fox’s head snapped up, its crimson eyes widening in genuine surprise at Christopher’s sudden declaration.
Swoosh!!!
With a subtle shift of his weight and an almost imperceptible pivot of his feet, Christopher effortlessly sidestepped Phoenix’s lunging attack. In a fluid motion that seemed to defy the speed of her strike, his hand shot out, his fingers wrapping firmly around her wrist, the one gripping the flaming sword. With a swift, almost gentle twist and pull, he disarmed her, the fiery blade now in his possession. In the very next instant, with a casual flick of his wrist, he executed a single, clean horizontal slash through the air.
WHOOSH!!!!
"....?!!!"
A collective gasp escaped the lips of the spectating students in the training ground, their eyes wide with utter disbelief.
***...?!!!***
Even the armored Fox recoiled slightly, its crimson eyes widening in palpable shock and bewilderment at the unexpected turn of events. The air in the training map crackled with a sudden, almost tangible tension.
