Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer -
Chapter 104: Second Guardian Of C+ Gang
Chapter 104: Second Guardian Of C+ Gang
Phoenix crossed her arms, her gaze unwavering as the four remaining thugs lunged, their hands outstretched in crude attempts to grope her.
"So pathetic," she murmured, a flicker of disdain in her eyes.
With a slight shake of her head, an immense wave of raw life force erupted from her body, an invisible shockwave that slammed into the five men and the startled onlookers nearby.
BAM!
The force knocked everyone off their feet. Tamers and ordinary humans alike crumpled to the ground, gasping for breath.
"This?"
"What just happened?"
"What hit us?!"
"My head’s throbbing."
"It felt like being hit by a train."
"Was it her doing?"
A chorus of confused and pained murmurs filled the air as everyone stared at the lone figure still standing amidst the chaos.
"You... You’re a Master Tamer?!" the injured thug yelled, slowly pushing himself up, his face contorted in disbelief. "But... how can that be? You look barely in your mid-twenties!"
Phoenix fixed him with a cold stare. An unseen force constricted the throats of the five thugs, yanking them roughly towards her.
"You!!" one of them choked out.
The five men halted abruptly two feet in front of her, their faces paling rapidly under the invisible pressure on their necks.
"Let us go!!" another spat, his eyes wide with terror.
"Shhh," Phoenix hissed softly.
Before they could react further, their mouths snapped shut, as if sealed by an unseen hand. They struggled to speak, their eyes darting frantically.
"Your Boss has five minutes to reach here. If not... he is going to die with you all."
Before the last word left her lips, three sleek black Audis screeched to a halt in front of the airport entrance. Eleven men in sharp suits swiftly emerged from the vehicles.
The thugs’ faces lit up with relief as they turned towards the arriving cars. "BOSS!!! Help us!!" the injured man managed to yell through his magically sealed mouth.
Phoenix tilted her head slightly, a silent command. The invisible grip on the five men’s throats released, and they collapsed to the ground in a heap.
Before the stunned gazes of everyone present, the leader of the C+ gang, the notorious number one gang in the entire five-city region, dropped to one knee and bowed his head low.
"Welcome, Second Guardian!!!" he announced in a deep, resonant voice.
"..."
".....!!!!"
"...?!!!"
Horror washed over the onlookers and the five prone thugs.
"Guard... Guardian!!!" one of the thugs exclaimed, scrambling backward in a futile attempt to escape.
"Greetings, Second Guardian!!!" the ten suited men behind their leader echoed, all kneeling in unison.
Phoenix folded her arms, her expression impassive. "Is this how you carry out the task you’ve been assigned?" she asked, gesturing disdainfully at the five men groveling on the ground.
"Guardian, please... What happened? What did these fools do?" the gang leader asked, his voice a mixture of fear and confusion as he turned to face the terrified thugs.
"Has your C+ gang become so powerful that its members exploit the weak, act arrogantly, and behave carelessly in public? Is that the purpose for which C+ was created?!"
"What?!" The gang leader stood up abruptly, his face a mask of horror and shock. He whirled around to face the five men. "You...! Are you fools tarnishing the reputation of our Gang?! How dare you?!" he roared.
"Boss, please, it was a mistake!"
"We didn’t mean any harm!"
"Yes, Boss!! It was all his fault!!"
"We know the gang is righteous, but he always pressured us to come to the airport to pick up girls!"
"Yes!"
"How many times have you done this?!" the leader bellowed.
"Boss..." The men exchanged terrified glances, their faces growing even paler.
"You!!!" The gang leader was momentarily speechless, his anger palpable.
"You know what to do, Miguel," Phoenix said calmly, turning to walk towards the cars with her luggage. A suited man instantly rushed forward to assist her.
Miguel turned back to the five thugs, his hand outstretched towards them.
"AHHHH!"
The men screamed in agony, their bodies convulsing. Before the horrified eyes of the onlookers, they collapsed onto the ground, lifeless.
"I can forgive many things, but you should never tarnish our reputation!" Miguel spat, his voice laced with venom.
’Thank goodness it was the Second Guardian. What if it had been the First?’ he thought, his gaze fixed on the still bodies of the men. Even the airport security officers stood frozen, unable to intervene.
"Take their bodies and throw them into the sea. Let the Beasts have them," Miguel commanded, turning to walk back to the waiting car.
"Yes, Boss!" the ten suited men replied in unison, moving to carry out the grim task.

[In The Car.]
"You didn’t use your gun?" Phoenix asked, a mischievous smile playing on her lips as Miguel settled into the passenger seat in front of her.
"No... That would surely attract unwanted attention," Miguel replied with a forced, flattering smile, glancing at the seemingly innocent yet undeniably dangerous woman in the rearview mirror.
’She might look cute and innocent, but she is the most deadly... at least she isn’t as cold-blooded as the other three,’ he thought nervously.
"How is the gang progressing?" she inquired, relaxing against the plush leather seat as the car started and pulled away from the airport.
"Well... We are currently controlling all the underground forces in the four legions. Gabi and Danzig, the two underground kings, are also under our command," he narrated, then added in a low voice, "But... Murphy is still refusing to cooperate with us."
Phoenix’s smile widened slightly as she slowly opened her eyes. "Why would she? Out of everyone in this world, she only listens to my master," she said, then sighed softly. "Leave her alone. She won’t go against us, but don’t lower your guard... Humans are unpredictable."
"Hmm... Second Guardian, what about the Boss? When will we have the opportunity to meet him?" Miguel asked cautiously.
"Focus on your duties. When the time is right, that opportunity will present itself," she replied, closing her eyes once more.
"Yes. Yes," Miguel nodded quickly, focusing on the road ahead. The driver, his face pale and damp with sweat, gripped the steering wheel tightly.
Phoenix opened her eyes again, gazing out the window, a smile on her face.
