He did not feel a hint of sympathy for the innocent girl. Who had told her that she could participate in royal politics with that soft heart and strong body!

Her presence was absurd from the start.

"That is enough." Edward, who had reached earlier, waited silently for Amber to insult Isabella. He knew his mother would not listen to him.

But if Isabella refused to marry him because of amber, his mother could not blame him and he would get rid of this simple girl. It was all for her benefit in the end.

"Are you bedding another girl just last week?" her voice had all the resentment and anger from Amber. She stared coldly at the prince.

"..." Edward’s face tightened but Amber just laughed.

"She was not the first. And would not be the last of course, my lady. If you are planning to choose my brother in law as your partner, I request you to be habitual of his feelings. After all, it would be hard for you to tie him down with your looks and demeanor." Amber laughed again with contempt on her face.

Isabella trembled with rage when Edward only looked away as if he was giving a silent approval.

"Ha! I would rather stay unmarried than bear such an insult." with eyes filled with hatred. She glared at Edward before standing up and leaving from there.

Her back was straight and she didn’t turn back at all. Amber watched the girl leaving with satisfaction and smirked.

"Oh brother in law! Did I break your precious relationship before forming?" there was no guilt on her face. Amber sighed as she leaned on Elio. "What can I do? Not everyone can get their fated love like me. I am so blessed, Elio." She looked lovingly at the man and he wrapped his arms around her waist. Pulling her closer to him, he earned a giggle from her.

Her gaze was heated as if she could not see anyone around them. Elio felt the change and his grip tightened around her. He leaned while watching her closely when she slightly nodded. He was over the moon. Not only had he destroyed Edward’s relationship but he was getting the first kiss of his life.

They kissed then and there as if they were the only one in this world. Edward felt nauseous and walked away. But he did not return to the party. He walked where Olivia was sitting before. For some reason he was feeling the heat in his body and wanted a release too.

But he was stunned to see the empty seat. He had thought Olivia would be waiting for him.

"Ha! What was I even thinking?" for a second he had entertained the idea of kissing her here. It was a relief that she had left. He did not want to take this important decision with the thing between his legs.

Shaking his head, he took out the handkerchief she had passed it to him and opened it.

A name was written in bold letters in the middle of it.

"Reynold is a traitor."
