Chapter 154: In Front Of Everyone!

Chapter 154: In Front Of Everyone!

Olivia was surprised that the sun was glaring at her when she opened her eyes and no one woke her up today. She was waking up at dawn these days to complete the household chores and cook before running to the Serene street and setting up the salon.

And then returning to the palace to take care of kids and then collecting data and preparing for the eastern envoys. Her body was exhausted but she did not have time to spare for sleep.

She sat with a start. She did not remember changing her clothes last night. Yet she was wearing a new silk gown.

"Who did it belong to?" more than that who changed her clothes?!

Her eyes narrowed as a name floated in her mind. Ignoring it, she rushed to the kitchen to prepare a meal for the kids.

The maids bowed their heads respectfully when she entered the room. Olivia paused and looked behind her. But there was no one. She looked at the maids baffled.

"My lady, do you need anything?" it was hard to digest their respect. They did not bow to her even when Oriana ruled the manor.

"I am here to cook like always." she explained and hurriedly went to pick up the groceries. Their gazes were making her skin itch.

"Ah, my lady, the lord and the lady already had their lunch. They had an extra class today so they needed to leave early." Olivia paused. She had specifically told the staff to not cook for Leo and Abi anymore.

And they were happy to oblige since the kids were nothing but a burden in their eyes. Then who cooked for them. And... "what did they eat?"

"It is cheese, mashed potatoes, meatballs and bread with butter and pumpkin pie, my lady. Would you like to have lunch too?" looking at the fawning smile of the maid, Olivia was afraid that she had transmigrated once again. But even in the past, she was never treated this well.

"I will have it later, thank you." She left the kitchen to see the kids. There was something amiss. As they crossed the corridors, the knights and the servants bowed to her too.

They all looked at her as if she was Oriana. She paused and stared at herself in the mirror. She touched her cheeks, pulled them hard and then rubbed the pain away.

No! She looked just like her! Shaking her head, she reached the garden where Abi was asked to paint the surroundings while Leo was asked to ride a horse.

She walked with hurried steps and noticed Abi’s swollen eyes.

"Aunt." the girl whined as soon as she saw Olivia. "I do not want to paint. I want to ride the horse too." she wrapped her tiny arms around Olivia’s waist and sniffled.

Oliva rubbed her hair and was about to console her when her eyes fell on the painting. Abi had drawn two horses. She and Leo were sitting on each of them and smiling. The painting was beautiful. It did not look like it was drawn by a kid.

"Of course, you already know painting. So it would be a waste of time." Olivia nodded. Abi was only whining because of her frustration.

She had never expected that Olivia would accept it readily.

"Really?" she blinked her large animated eyes only to get a smile and nod.

"Yes!"

and when Leo completed the round, Olivia stopped him.

"Go and bring another mare for the lady. She would horse ride with her brother." The knight was surprised and Olivia was ready to fight.

"My lady, the lady is too young to ride." he explained, hesitating.

"It is alright, you are here. You can keep an eye on them when they ride. They are not having a race." the knight still did not move.

"I am here to make sure no accidental happiness." she added, looking at his reluctance. But the knight still did not move, making her frown.

"Do as she says!" Before she could scold the knight, she heard a cold voice behind her.

She paused but the knight bowed and instantly left to bring another mare.

"My lord." Oliva turned to greet him. But she regretted it when she noticed his dark face. His eyes are boring a hole into her.

"Did you forget to change your clothes before running around, my lady?" His voice had a hint of warning and she held the silk gown tightly.

Though it was a new gown. It was still nightwear. So it was a bit thin and had small sleeves.

"That.."

The man glared at her before calling two maids.

"Help the lady in dressing up." The maids bowed and waited for Olivia to walk away so that they could follow her.

Olivia was stunned. She was not a lady. The maids had never helped in changing her clothes.

"I will do it myself." The maids looked troubled by her instructions.

"If the lady did not need you, you are not needed in the manor anymore." their faces paled instantly. Olivia was horrified too.

"But my lord.." she objected. Damon raised a brow, a slow smile appearing on his lips.

"Did you change your decision, my lady." there was something different the way he spoke My lady. As if he was showing his possession to her. The thought made her skin tingle. No, she could not follow her whims. The man had many tricks up his sleeves. She would fall in his trap.

"My lady..." the pleading voice of the maids, made her sigh. Perhaps just this once.

"Yes. the maids can help me." she nodded, bringing a bright smile on his face. He must have lost his mind somewhere!

"That is a wise decision. Go and help her prepare. She must look stunning for today;s outing." The maids looked relieved and urged Olivia to hurry.

"I will be waiting for you here, my lady." he took her hands and kissed it and then he licked the area he had kissed!!? In front of everyone!!!!!
