The entire place had hidden cameras and some of them were unrecognisable, so people thought they would easily get away with it so long as they avoided the visible CCTV cameras. All the CCTV cameras around the place weren’t channelled over to the same portal, the recorded data moved out diversely and were stored in different databases, and they weren’t interconnected and so were their backups.

He found one portal of databases completely erased which would have been storing data from the visible CCTV cameras, he moved over to the other hidden surveillance cameras and got their recorded data.

He retrieved the day’s occurrences and could see who Sergeant Tu met for the entire day from morning to the time of his death, and who got in and out of that office during that period of time.

"Huo Zheng, go and bring these six men over here..." With the show of the pictures of the people who had gotten in and out of that office, it was easier to track Sergeant Tu’s death.

Two were soldiers, one was a captain, and three were Lieutenants and Lieutenant colonels.

He stood in the hallway facing north while they left the mortuary door open so they could gaze inside watching the forensic pathologist do the procedure, they had to make sure that there was no malpractice done whatsoever.

"Yeah, I did try to talk to them but they kept quiet the entire time without a single word coming out of their mouths, they were just curled up and sat there like lost dolls..." He might be cruel but he has always been kind-hearted when it came to kids. They were always his soft spot.

Kids have always been vulnerable, and it was just the same sad scenario as his, if Huo Shen hadn’t rescued him fifteen years ago, maybe his fate wouldn’t be like it is today and he knows how this opportunity saved those kids’ fate. So, deep down, he understood their fears, it was disheartening to be abandoned by the people who should be shielding and protecting you from the cruel world, they didn’t know who they could trust after that betrayal and they were afraid of being abandoned all over again.

"Let’s give them time, or maybe Su Wei Wei could be the best candidate to talk to them since she saved them... They might open up to her..." They were kids so, he wasn’t going to force them to talk to him unless they opened up by themselves.

"Mnnh, that’s what I thought of and she should be able to communicate to them... For now, I let the doctors treat them and write down their medical conditions before letting Sergeant Mu settle them down at the hostel... I have also made plans prior without notifying you, I sent two guards out of the camp over to the village to find three to ten middle-aged women who can take care of these kids, they are 96 in total, and around forty of them are three or four years... We do need them around here to take care of them and since we do have little girls around who need proper care, we only have men here who are soldiers and have undergone some harsh training, they know nothing about taking care of kids..." They had two military academy camps, this one here was full of men and there was another one just next by that was for only women... He hadn’t separated them because of inferiority but had noticed the men were always abusing women and most women soldiers were overwhelmed.

Now, it was easier to handle, be it in doing missions or training them.

"Hihi..." He inwardly giggled eying his master. He should say he was one of those who lacked experience in taking care of kids because he hadn’t gotten married and hadn’t gotten any babies, he didn’t have any other siblings to care for apart from him being alone and Huo Dong was older than him, he never took care of any kid, so he thinks all the men are like that, but most of those soldiers and Captains were married men and with kids. They had family houses beside the hostels and he could see the kids running around.

These soldiermen also knew how to be tender and careful, he wanted to explain to him but thought otherwise, it was hard to change this perspective of his master since he rarely went down to those family houses as they were a bit far away from the hostels and had a safe compound where kids could play around without coming over to the camp.
