"What are you laughing? What’s so funny?" He didn’t say anything funny to make someone laugh! These were all innocent and traumatized kids whose scars won’t go away any time soon and he was laughing?

"Master, do you like kids?" Huo Qi was curious and in his mind, he was dying to know the answer and instinctively his mouth spoke up what was in his mind.

"No!" He didn’t think twice before responding while smoothly shaking his head, he was never a fan of babies and didn’t have plans of having any.

"You don’t have any thoughts of having kids in the near future?" Huo Qi implored further surprised, he never knew apart from him being naive and clumsy in matters of kids, and he hated them on top of that.

"No!" He shook his head frowning, he hadn’t thought of that! But in any way, he wasn’t planning on having any.

"Do you hate kids?" Huo Qi still queried eying his boss, like what? How could he have plans of getting married but can’t think of having kids? Anyways, it was normal that not everyone liked kids.

"Not that I hate them, they are just too handful and a lot of responsibilities, of which I ain’t ready, and let’s not even begin with kids, I should get married first, then stay like ten years before thinking of kids... But let’s not go any further, I don’t want kids..." He honestly muttered like he was picturing having kids around him. It gave him goosebumps and that picture didn’t suit him at all.

No! It’s something he can’t tolerate, and by ten years, that’s like until he is in his late thirties and still, he doesn’t think he would have any patience to deal with kids.

"You don’t need to do anything! And Huo Zheng would take care of everything and even get a few nannies and there’s Nanny Wei who can assist too... You won’t do anything at all..." Huo Qi was inwardly cheered on him like he could do it! He can do it! He was pushing him to greater heights.

"Commander Huo!" They carefully saluted him before approaching forward to shake his hand but Huo Shen took a step back in disgust without lifting his head from the iPad screen while his fingers ran through the detachable keyboard.

How could they not know he hated handshake? How could they know Huo Shen never greets people with his hands? They immediately withdrew their hands hiding them at the back standing attention.

"You do know that Sergeant Tu is dead, I want you first to explain to me what you went over to his office to do and what kind of files you took away from the back store...." He began questioning one of the soldiers, these were the four soldiers who were previously under Sergeant Tu.

"They were files in the yellow sealed envelope, I took them over to Officer Rong... He was the one who sent me over..." one of the soldiers spoke up confidently facing Huo Shen. And that’s what Huo Shen exactly saw he did in that footage.

The soldier walked in and received a yellow sealed envelope and the entire process took him not more than three minutes, meaning, Sergeant Tu had already prepared it and the soldier just picked it up according to plans and instructions.

"At that time, was he still inside the office working or lying on the desk sleeping?" He inquired watching through the video while increasing the volume to hear their conversation.

"He was still alive, he gave me this envelope by his hand and told me to pass it over to Officer Rong, apart from that, we didn’t discuss much apart from knowing how we finished our mission, and he looked a bit nervous than usual when he talked to me..." He explained his encounters with Sergeant Tu for the day.

"All right, you can go... " He dismissed him! He just needed to listen to someone, any criminal who had committed that crime would have a completely and perfectly laid out statement to convince him, but this soldier mixed the occurrences up and what they talked about in that office, he was innocent.
