"Huo Qi, what were you doing last night? And where were you?" Su Wei Wei strolled over to where they were working eying Huo Qi precisely.

"Last night? I was sleeping in my room... I didn’t go anywhere." He lifted his head and gazed at her eyes that were scrutinizing him closely while his hands gripped the vacuum handle he was holding.

If he didn’t know her, he would have immediately coiled back exposing his emotions, but those sharp purple eyes that were gazing at him, made him feel like they were looking deeper into his soul finding out all his secrets.

"Ooohh..." She strolled over to the kitchen, Huo Qi didn’t flinch and Su Wei Wei backed off seeing how confident he was. But she didn’t know that his back was sweating, and if he hadn’t maintained his cool without panicking, she would have noticed him being off from his heartbeat rate...

Seeing she was gone, he gently tapped his chest, she was way more scarier than their Master, more so with those sharp eyes.

"Maybe I recalled wrongly..." She opened the walk-in fridge and got some fresh ingredients for breakfast. But she did see a human image last night even though it was dark. Actually, no one knew that during the night, her purple eyes would only see blurry images more so when it’s completely dark.

She got some flour and immediately prepared some dough for deep-fried dough sticks, dumplings and steamed buns... It wasn’t that hard and with the available machines, everything was easy to make. She got a machine for kneading dough and switched it on. She only needed to add the ingredients to it.

While the dough was being kneaded, she was preparing some vegetables, and then soy milk plus rice congee.. they were faster to make.

She opened the countertop lower drawer and got an apron before wrapping it around her body, she switched the music on. She found solace and fun cooking while listening or dancing to some good music.

Now, she found this hobby of cooking more fun and interesting when it was for Huo Shen, she would gladly do it without being told to. She felt free in this house and very comfortable, it felt so home, now, she felt the feeling of belonging to somewhere you are appreciated.
