Anthony was stunned to hear Marcel’s question. For a slight second, he paused,

"No. That woman never married, but I just met her daughter, and she is a beautiful daughter. And now her daughter has become my daughter-in-law!" Anthony Collins wanted to say that, but he stopped. He will tell Marcel when they meet. That man must be shocked if he tells him now.

"She is not married!" He said as his mind bothered with Jamie Stone’s presence near Molly. "Daughter, stop calling me sir." Rose was stunned hearing that. She could only nod when Anthony rubbed the top of her hair gently. "From now on, call me father. Can you do that, Rose?" Anthony titles his head slightly to see Rose’s shy face.

"Y-Yes, F-Father...." Rose’s voice was awkward because this was the first time she had called someone by the name ’Father.’ It feels like something tickled her heart. She can’t find the words to describe her feelings now.

"That’s good. That sounds good. Alright, seat again... don’t bother me." Anthony then looked at his father. "Father, I will excuse myself. I have important things to do at the office."

Arthur, observing his son’s strangeness, could only nod. "Mmm, you can go!"

"Son, I will go now...." Anthony turned his back, looking at his son standing beside him. "Take care of your wife, never bully her, or I will break your leg! Father will go now. And I will make arrangements for our family dinner." He said and walked toward the house. He can’t wait any longer; he will go to meet Marcel Quinn.

Rose felt like deja vu hearing Evan’s father’s words earlier. She heard Grandpa Arthur tell her like that too. She just silently smiles, looking at her father-in-law walking fast to the house.

Everyone in that place was still in a daze looking at the back of Anthony Collins disappearing behind the door.

Jamis Stone, who didn’t know that there was something odd with the Collins family, spoke first.

"Rose, I and your mother will not stay here for long. We will go to the East in a few hours." Rose looked at Jamie Stone with her sad look. It seemed she was still not satisfied with meeting her mother, but she couldn’t hold them to stay longer. "Don’t be sad, Rose. Your mother will move here in a few weeks...." Jamie Stone slightly chuckled when he saw Rose’s teary eyes.

"Little girl, what your uncle Jamie said is true. Your mother will come back here for good. So no need to be sad...." Arthur Collins also helped to make Rose feel better after he saw how sad her face was now.

"Y-Yes, grandpa, uncle Jamie... I understand," Rose softly said while trying to hold back her tears.
