Rose was amused and, at the same time, felt hesitant. She didn’t want to have children any time soon. Whenever Rose saw a child or Evan talked about children, a strange feeling appeared in her heart. Doris’ words suddenly made her face redden. How could they talk about making babies so casual? She was still nervous about how their first night would be. She felt thrilled and worried just thinking about it.

"Yes, daughter! Mom will support you. Don’t worry, if you have a child, mom will help you to raise them. I’m just saying if you worry about that...." Molly amusingly laughs when she sees her daughter’s face turn red. "Sister Doris, do you agree if we help them take care of the children?"

"Sure, sister Molly! I agree. I will retire early from the hospital and will babysit my grandchild...." Doris laughed with her eyes sparkling, looking at Rose.

Rose was utterly speechless. She really wishes Evan would come to rescue her from this awkward conversation. A baby-making conversation. Gosh!

"Hahaha, no... no, sister, you are the best surgeon I have ever met." Molly paused for breath, "It’s a shame if you retired early. Let me take care of our grandchild while you care for the sick people!"

"Alright, alright! As long as I have free time, I will accompany you to take care of our grandchild...."

"Deals!" Molly replied in between her laughs. While wiping a tear from laughing too much, she continued her sentence. "Sister, what do you prefer, grandson or granddaughter?"

"Me? Mmm... I want to have a granddaughter. You know, my son, right? He is so busy and rarely meets me. I want a granddaughter like Rose. She is so caring and beautiful." Doris desperately wanted a daughter, but sadly she could only have Evan.

"Well! I’m sorry, sister. This time we must have a different opinion because I want a grandson... I like Evan. I hope their firstborn is a little boy Evan, so I can play with him, tell stories to him." Molly said as she looked at her daughter. But, she was surprised because she didn’t see her daughter sitting in front of them.

"Huh!? Since when did Rose leave? Why didn’t she didn’t tell us?" Molly mutters as she looks around, but she can’t find Rose in the living room. She felt angry with her naughty little girl.

Doris is also surprised to learn that Rose is no longer with them. "Sister, maybe she’s on the phone outside, or she’s going to the powder room. Let her be...." Doris said as she continued to chat with Molly about having a grandchild.

While in the back garden, Arthur sat with Jamie Stone on the patio with a mountain view.

Evan approached them, but he didn’t see his father with them.

"Grandpa, Uncle Jamie..." Evan greeted them as he sat in one of the chairs, and at the same time, he saw his father standing not far from where they were sitting. He looks serious talking on the phone.
