A wide grin spread across Iris’ face as she got the hearing ability.

But, in a few seconds, a fierce, murderous aura immediately emerged from her when she heard moaning and crying from inside the house.

’Alberto Bastard West, I will send you straight to the gates of hell!’ Iris hissed and leaped onto the veranda at full speed.

Iris could see several people inside the house. There was Alberto, three girls, and two boys. The two boys were in their room on the second floor beside the main bedroom.

However, Alberto and the three girls are in the basement, involved in activities that force Iris to wish for his death.

She saw Alberto West was compelled to express his lust towards them. Even though they rejected him, he forcefully assaulted them.

After hearing the three girls’ frightened screams and cries, Iris ran even faster to the basement.

She couldn’t waste any time because the lives of the three girls were in danger under Alberto’s clutches.

Anger consumed her, wanting to tear Alberto West’s heart apart. To pull the vile soul out of that gross body as soon as she can and send it to rot in hell, where he will be tortured.

Iris burst through the door with a forceful kick and dashed into the room.

In one swift motion, she seized Alberto’s hair and flung him to the floor. Then, she swiftly threw a sheet over to the girls, shielding them from the distressing scene.

She also didn’t want them to see her face, even though she was disguised.

"Stay under the covers and cover your ears tightly with both hands!" Her cold yet commanding voice made the three girls hide under the covers and try not to make any sounds.

But their silent cries still rang clearly in Iris’ ears. Her heart broke hearing this and seeing their miserable looks.

Alberto’s rage surged as he was hurled onto the floor, his head throbbing from the impact against the cold marble.

He was surprised someone barged into this room and even threw him on the floor.

"Who the hell are you?" Alberto snapped in rage; he would kill whoever did that to him.

However, as he shifted his gaze, shock seized him. He saw a woman cloaked in black standing before him, a gun leveled at his head.

In an instant, his anger faded, replaced by an overwhelming sense of dread.

"Me? I’m the messenger of death and here to send you to hell, Mr. Alberto West!" Iris’ voice sliced through the air, its icy tone capable of freezing Alberto’s very blood.

Stammering, Alberto West uttered, "Y-You... Who the hell—" Before he could complete his sentence, darkness descended, and a sharp bullet shattered his words and his head.

"Go straight to hell, Alberto Fucking West—" Iris’ voice resounded with a chilling finale as she averted her eyes from Alberto’s disgusting and lifeless figure.

’Finally, my first target is done!’ A half smile graced her face as she glanced at the trio of girls on the bed, huddled beneath the covers, their silent tears causing the blanket to tremble subtly.

"Someone will come to rescue you. I trust none of you will breathe a word about me," Iris declared, her voice a quiet but firm presence.

"Y-Yes, we never saw you."

"Sister... Thank you for safe us."

"Thank you so much, kind sister."

The trembling voice of three girls could be heard under the blanket.

Iris could only smile, looking at the blanket shaking and hearing their relieved sob. She didn’t utter any words again.

After making sure there is no CCTV in that place. She exited the room, leaving behind an atmosphere of hushed stillness. Yet, an unfamiliar sensation had infiltrated her heart, a sensation both foreign and unsettling.

For the first time, she experienced an odd satisfaction after killing someone. People like Alberto West deserved to die. His crimes were horrifying. He couldn’t be allowed to live in this world.

As Iris exited the house, snowflakes began falling from the sky. She feels so happy. The snowfall meant she no longer had to concern herself with leaving footprints in the pristine canvas of snow.

’Thank God for the gift,’ Iris murmured, a faint smile gracing her lips.

With that, she started running along the route she had used before. The trip back to her car seemed effortless, thanks to the ’God Eye’ ability, giving her a clear view of the road ahead.

Under the blanket of snow, Iris could see the ground very clearly. The forest surrounding her looked as clear as if she were there when the sun was still shining brightly. To her surprise, distant cries of animals rang in her ears.

’At least no beast seems to be lurking nearby. I’m safe,’ she chuckled, increasing her pace.

Even though Iris wanted to test her eyesight and better hearing ability thoroughly, time was running out. She couldn’t stay long here.

Iris needs to arrive at her house quickly. She needs to erase her tracks on the way to her house. Besides, she must also send evidence of Roberto’s crime to the police. Tonight, she had a lot of work to do alone.

As Iris dashed toward her car at incredible speed, Xavier appeared in the basement, a confused frown on his face.

’Is she truly a professional assassin? How could she leave such an obvious trail here?’ Xavier’s head shook in disbelief as his hand lifted involuntarily and snapped in the air; in an instant, time came to an abrupt freeze.

He casually approached the bed, deftly erasing the memories of all three girls. Their memories of Iris’ presence in the room would fade away. They would forget about Iris and only remember a clock person who killed Alberto.

Having meticulously removed all traces of Iris, Xavier vanished from the room.

However, he did not return to his home; he stood nearby, waiting for someone to arrive.

His intuition said that, at any moment soon, a man from the past would definitely appear here.

As Iris parked her car at her house, the time had already struck past 9 AM. The house’s interior was shrouded in darkness, with only a few dim lights shining in places.
