Chapter 219: Justin’s Awful Condition

Chapter 219: Justin’s Awful Condition

After talking to Lucian for a while, Xavier glanced at Gavriel. He could feel how devastated Gavriel was now. He decided to bring Gavriel to his house to ask him further.

"Gavriel, I need to have a few words with you. However, I must check Iris urgently. Could you accompany me to my house?" Xavier glances at Iris in his arms, feeling concerned as her face still looks pale.

"Lord Xavier, sure. I will follow you," Gavriel agrees to follow him to Willow Town.

Gavriel feels worried about seeing Iris and Justin’s condition. Their injuries make him feel guilty as he is the only one who didn’t get hurt. Now, he needs to stay close to them to monitor their condition.

Xavier nods at Gavriel and vanishes from that place.

...

Instantly, Xavier appears in his gothic house at Willow Town, in the main bedroom. He gently places Iris on the soft bed while looking at her peaceful face—she appears to be sleeping deeply.

This is the moment Xavier truly cherishes when they are together; he can only hear her inner thoughts when she sleeps. Although he can’t deeply explore her mind and memories, at least he can perceive what happened to her that day and feel her emotions only if he touches her.

Xavier slowly placed his palm on Iris’ forehead and closed his eyes, delving into her mind to see what had happened to her that day. After a few minutes, his calm expression slowly darkened upon reopening his eyes. A glint of killing intent flashed through his gaze.

From what Xavier gleaned from Iris’s memories, he deduced that the individual casting the potent spell on Justin was a high-level dark witch within this lower realm. This caused him great concern.

As he understood, such a powerful Dark Witch was exceedingly arrogant. They wouldn’t yield to weak demons or humans. Their ambitions leaned towards being ruled and respected solely by powerful and formidable entities, such as Demon Kings.

Now, he was sure that the Demon King was involved because of the person who used high-level dark magic.

Xavier sighed silently while infusing new energy into her body. Gradually, her pale face regained color, and her lips appeared reddish, resembling a ripe cherry. His upper lip lifted slightly, forming a faint smile. He feels happy to see her healthy as usual.

"Well done, my darling. Rest more. I’ll prepare your delicious dinner when you awaken," he whispered while gently rubbing her soft cheek with his thumb.

But, later, he noticed her uncomfortably sleeping in her tactical suit. He slowly removed her clothes, leaving her alluring body exposed, covered only with her underwear.

Xavier briefly glanced at her seductive figure, but a peculiar sensation restrained him from touching her, something he despised. Shaking his head, he attempted to dispel his sultry desires.

After tucking her body under the soft blanket, he departed the room upon hearing Silvana’s arrival. He needed to discuss Justin’s condition with her.

....

In a large modern bedroom with a bed at its center, Justin’s body lay on the bed, seemingly asleep.

Silvana and Niles stood by the bed, engaged in conversation. Upon Xavier’s entrance, they immediately ceased their discussion and greeted him.

"Milord..." Niles offered a slight bow.

"Lord Xavier," Silvana acknowledged, adjusting her position to allow Xavier to see Justin.

"Have you assessed his condition?" Xavier asked, casting a glance toward her.

"Yes, my lord. Justin doesn’t retain any memories of himself or anything else. Essentially, he’s akin to a newborn, unaware of anything," Silvana remarked, her gaze shifting to the peacefully sleeping Justin, resembling a slumbering infant.

"Despite his baby-like state, his body is perfectly healthy. There’s no internal damage whatsoever. However, he’s unable to use his bodily functions. He lacks the ability to drink, talk, or walk. Essentially, he’s limited to what a baby can do," Silvana explained.

Niles sighed silently upon hearing Silvana’s words.

Xavier was left speechless. Encountering this kind of situation was entirely new to him.

Silvana added, "Fortunately, being a vampire, his development differs from that of a human."

"Can you cure him?" Xavier rubbed his eyebrows while staring sharply at Silvana, feeling nervous as he awaited her response.

"I can’t heal him because he’s not sick," Silvana smiled as she turned back, meeting Xavier’s gaze. "Milord, Justin will revert to normal. However, I can accelerate his growth and development in line with the time in the middle realm—ten years in the lower realm equate to one year in the middle realm."

Xavier felt slightly relieved, knowing Justin would return to normal in two years.

"What about his power and memories? Will they return?" A glance of worry flashes through Xavier’s eyes as he looks at Silvana. This bothers him; he is afraid all of Justin’s memory is lost, let alone his magic ability and power.

"Actually... His memory hasn’t vanished. It’s merely hidden in his mind due to his struggle against someone with a higher-level mind control ability. His determination to protect his memories was unyielding at that time... He will eventually recollect everything, but the time is uncertain," Silvana explained.

"Thank you, Silvana. Please help take care of Justin and make sure he can recover faster. You can use any of my resources as needed," Xavier said, glancing at Niles. "Help Silvana get any ingredients necessary for Justin’s healing. Additionally, call Gavriel to help if needed..."

Niles promptly nodded upon Xavier’s instruction. "Yes, Milord. I’ll fulfill your requests. Gavriel is already in the living room."

Xavier nodded in acknowledgment. "Prepare a room for his rest within this house as well. Let him stay here. I will need his assistance for something..."

"I will," Niles replied with a slight bow.

"Milord, what about Lady Iris’ condition?" Silvana suddenly inquired with concern. She had learned from Niles that Lady Iris had also been affected by the same spell and was unconscious.

"My wife is well, and now she’s far from danger. She hasn’t sustained any injury. Currently, she’s asleep peacefully," Xavier reassured, smiled slightly, and then excused himself from the room to check on Iris’s condition.
