"Where are you going, Justin!? Come here and pay your respects to your Milady!" Xavier glanced at Justin, who was about to exit the room.

Killian was stunned hearing Iris call him like that. He glanced at her and quickly replied, "Milady, please just call me by my name," he politely said.

"It’s an honor to meet you, Milady," Killian added with a slight bow. Iris was the only woman he had ever encountered since dedicating his life to Xavier Darkwood. Never before had he met a woman who could stand beside Xavier.

Therefore, upon hearing and witnessing how Xavier treated this woman, he held her in even higher regard. This woman possessed something to make their Lord willing to lower his head to a human.

"Lady Iris... I’m glad you look much healthier," Justin said respectfully. He knew Iris had experienced another strange sleep episode after visiting District Five, and her awakening made him happy.

"Thank you, Justin," Iris replied while maintaining her smile. Internally, she felt like laughing at Justin’s manner. She found it difficult to accept this sort of formality from him, given that they had been best friends in Silenthill. Now, it seemed like she had suddenly become his superior.

"Enjoy your dinner, milady," Justin continued.

"Justin, would you like to join me?" she asked with a friendly smile. It seemed like she was silently warning him to stop speaking in a specific manner, as he used to. However, Justin knew better than to speak that way before Xavier, so he declined the offer.

"Thank you. But, I’ve already finished my dinner, Milady..." Justin promptly declined.

Xavier didn’t permit them to linger any longer, dismissing them with a sharp glance.

After Killian and Justin left the dining room, Iris could finally enjoy her peaceful dinner.

"They are different. All three could see you as you are. Only the staff, including the chef and the maid, didn’t know your real appearance..."
