Re-Overlord: I Can Acquire Anything! -
Chapter 106: Making Preparation (2)
Chapter 106: Making Preparation (2)
Igaris began his preparations to Dive with full force. The 20,000 Spirit Stones he had gathered from the Black Daggers gang were quickly being consumed, one after another.
He was currently at the Master-5 rank, and after absorbing all the Spirit Stones, he hoped to break through to the Legendary Rank.
However, he had some doubts about whether that amount would be enough. The higher his rank grew, the more energy it required to level up.
He could already imagine how difficult it would be to continue advancing without a steady supply of Spirit Stones. That’s why he intended to search for a substitute within the Dungeon. It didn’t necessarily have to be Spirit Stones — anything that carried potent energy could potentially be used.
Time passed quickly, and so did his advancement in rank:
Master-6
Master-7
Master-8
Master-9
Igaris finally paused at the bottleneck of Master-9. Only five Spirit Stones remained in his possession, barely enough to attempt a breakthrough.
Without hesitation, he consumed them all at once using [ Infinite Acquisition ]. Whether he could ascend to the Legendary Rank today was uncertain, but he was determined to try.
As soon as the Spirit Stones dissolved within his inner world, the space expanded noticeably. The energy swirling inside became denser, more potent, and purer than before.
His subordinates bathed in the surge of new energy, their strength rising quickly as the atmosphere filled with refined essence.
The space within had now grown to nearly 7 kilometers in radius, making the size of his army of 6,000 seem small compared to the vast terrain.
All around the inner realm, known as the Acquisition Space, lush greenery covered the land. Mountains stood in the distance, jungles teemed with life, and rivers flowed calmly, making it easier for the Spirit Beasts to feed and grow stronger.
"Rumble!"
Suddenly, a deafening sound echoed from all around, shaking the very land beneath their feet.
Evernight, Mathius, and the other beings in the inner world stared in awe as the terrain expanded again. This time, it was by a significant margin—likely stretching to nearly twelve kilometers in radius.
But even more astonishing...
"Second Master, we have our own sun now," Malthius muttered beside Evernight, visible shock etched into his skeletal features.
Evernight’s eyes sparkled with wonder. "I can see that. This is truly miraculous. Not even those so-called gods could achieve what he’s doing."
"Yes, that’s true, Lady Evernight," added Mountain in his heavy, rumbling voice. "Master’s power truly knows no limits. Look, even with the sun shining so brightly, the Death Knights remain unharmed."
"Oh, you’re right, Big Man. Master is... mighty," Malthius added with a grin, punching Mountain’s towering leg.
Serynthia, the semi-dragon, approached with thudding steps, her wings twitching slightly. "Guys, I’ve become stronger. I even awakened a few new abilities," she said with an excited smile.
"Same here!" Dred chimed in, surprising everyone as he spoke for the first time.
Alpha nodded silently. She, too, had apparently gained the ability to speak.
All around them, their allies were showing signs of evolution. Horns thickened, wings grew broader, auras became sharper. Their powers were growing rapidly under the refined energy of the realm.
Evernight observed everyone quietly, her expression unreadable.
’This world... these people... Just what kind of realm are you trying to build, Igaris?’ she wondered.
’I hope you won’t walk the path of tyranny—enslaving everyone just to fuel your conquest. If you do, your legacy will become hollow and meaningless in your absence. But I believe that’s not the path you seek... even if fate might try to steer you that way.’

Igaris felt it —the power to crush, destroy, and create surged through his body like a tidal wave.
It wasn’t a small leap.
He was now nearly ten times stronger than he had been at the Master level. The gap between ranks wasn’t a steady climb. It was a chasm. The title "Legendary" wasn’t handed out casually. Those who reached this rank were known to carve their names into history through sheer strength.
He had become a World Diver capable of bringing down a city by himself. This wasn’t some exaggerated claim. He truly believed he could do it.
Every cell, every muscle, and every organ in his body pulsed with energy. The power was overwhelming and absolute.
"Buzzz!"
He clenched his fist, and the very room around him trembled. Vibrations rippled outward from his body, reacting to his intense aura.
A faint smirk appeared on his face. Now, he was certain that he could fight an adult dragon from Ashvale head-on and survive.
The urge to test his power began to grow inside him. His heart pounded with the desire to feel its impact. To push himself. To unleash it all.
But he stopped himself. Using such strength here, without purpose, would only bring unwanted attention.
This was not the time to show off.
He would unleash it only when the time was right.
Inside the Martial Sanctuary.
Bang!
The door swung open with a loud slam.
"Igaris, are you okay?" Shirley called out, bursting into the room in a rush.
"Huh?"
She froze the moment her eyes landed on him.
There he stood, bare-skinned, his well-sculpted body exposed under the golden light of the room. His sharp abs, steamy muscles, and the powerful, dominating aura he radiated overwhelmed her senses.
A sudden throb struck her chest.
Her breath caught in her throat.
It was nearly suffocating, yet something deep inside her was being pulled toward him—as if by instinct.
Her feet moved on their own. Her shimmering red eyes stayed locked on his body, wide and dazed.
"You okay, Shirley?" Igaris asked, puzzled by her reaction.
She looked like a zombie. Soulless. As if possessed by something beyond her control.
But just then, without hearing his words, she hugged him so suddenly, pressing her soft mounds on his chest.
Igaris’s eyes widened, getting caught off guard by the sudden advance from Shirley.
There was no problem for him getting a normal hug, but this doesn’t seem normal at all.
She hugged him so tight as if she never wanted to let go and sniffed around his body using her nose like a desperado.
And the worst part.
She was his maternal cousin.
