"Hey!?" Winced by Zenith’s unexpected wish, Kylian felt a bit nervous as the thumping beats of his heart were going beyond normal. He bluntly opposed him in a stiff pitch, "Obviously no! Stop coming up with your silly ideas to piss me off, okay?"

"But I am serious! I really do want to stay here--"

"I said no! Please leave...right now." Kylian deliberately sounded cold to chase him out, as he could feel a strange wave of palpitation running down his veins.

"Oh..." While walking close upto Kylian, Zenith tossed a wide sly smug at him when he retorted back, "Maybe..you’re worried that if I stay here, you would be unable to control your horniness and might pounce on me again, like last night? I already know you are wooed by my pheromones, right?"

"Hey! Stop those nonsense...I am not a pervert like you!" Even though Kylian fervently argued against his tease, deep inside his heart his nervousness was exceeding beyond limits.

Every time Kylian was near Zenith, he was swept by such wild moments of passion, and the hot kiss between them before coming here was the biggest proof of him getting swayed by Zenith.

His own actions had started to make him worry up to the point that he kept wondering why wasn’t he hating such moments spent with him in the first place.

Even now, his mind wondered what if something wild happened between them again if he allowed Zenith to spend the night here?

Making up his mind, Kylian almost forcibly tried to push Zenith out of the door by pressing against his back, while he frowned, "Just leave already, please!"

"Alright alright...don’t rush me, I am going." With a small chuckle, Zenith glanced behind at Kylian and tenderly softened his voice for him, "Don’t hesitate to come and find me if you find yourself in any trouble. Also, I will make sure to protect the deal and your secret with me, so don’t fret about that. An Alpha never goes back on his words."

’Why? Just why is he showing so much concern for a nobody like me? I know he’s toying with me now since he knows my secret...and even if his worries for me are fake, how can I overlook that keen gaze in his eyes? His actions had truly started to shake my beliefs which I had held towards rich, arrogant Alpha brats, like him... I know I can’t be fooled by this, but every time he tries to comfort me like this...why the heck do I feel so reassured?’

Kylian pursed his lips when the intense thought hit his mind. He retained his stoic face and only gave a nod with a curt answer, "Alright. I will, but I won’t allow you to come to my room as you please."

"Well regarding that, your Master gets to decide that." Zenith chuckled when he teased him, and watching Kylian pout at him, he tried to tease him even more, "Maybe if you let me feel up your soft squishy breasts once, then I can consider letting you know before I come here every time."

"Would you please get lost, Mr. Filthy pervert?" Annoyed by his brazen comment even though Kylian had been quite accustomed by now, he exhaled a heavy sigh while pushing Zenith out of the room into the hallway outside.

But while doing that, a quick thought hit him inside as Kylian couldn’t suppress his curiosity from asking Zenith by grabbing his arm from behind, "Wait a minute...since we had formed the pact before heading out from the hospital, according to our deal, you were supposed to protect me from any danger, right?"

"Yep, of course."

"Then while I was speedily falling down and was too close to get my skull cracked from the collision, why did you take so much time to come to save me?"

Kylian inquired him in an irked tone which bore an uncanny resemblance to an angry wife, charging her husband after he had done something seriously wrong.

However, Zenith was very patient in dealing with his charges but his sly smug grew a bit wide, "I waited until you called my name aloud."

"So...does that mean if I hadn’t called out your name, you wouldn’t have come to save me?"

"Of course not, I would have definitely come when the distance from your head with the ground was approximately over one inch. As your Master, how could I have let my pet get hurt?"

When Zenith confidently annoyed him with his explanation, Kylian gritted his jaws, barely resisting his urge to smack his dazzling handsome face lingering with that playful smile. He shuffled his dark hair above his forehead before grumbling at Zenith, "Goodness, you’re really such a wicked piece of shit! Anyways, enough of annoying me today, so just go away—"

"However, I don’t harbor that intention anymore." But before Kylian could finish his rumble, Zenith moved close and locked his intense gaze into his glimmering ocean eyes when he answered in a sincere tone, "Next time, whenever you miss me...or you are having a hard time, just look at the sky above and call for me. Now that you are aware of my secret power, I will fly my way back to you...no matter where you are."

’Again...he’s again messing with my heart...creating such confusing emotions to surge inside me... This guy...is truly troublesome...’ Consoling himself even though Kylian was deeply moved by his assurance, he still retained his stone-face look while urging him, "Okay, stop those cheesy lines and get away already—"

...

"What is going on between you two here?"

But the peaceful soothing moment in between them was immediately crushed by a cold voice directed from the hallway ahead of them. Not only Kylian wince, but Zenith’s relaxed face turned a bit stiff when he averted his gaze toward that direction, along with Kylian.
