While Zenith’s actions had already left Kylian awestruck, Morpheus’s commentary inside his head made him blush so hard that his earlobes reddened a bit.

"I will be mindful not to fall for his cheesy tricks, so it’s better if you brace yourself if you don’t want to end up heartbroken, Morpheus. Children belonging to powerful families are all the same. The touch of his relatively cold palm against his skin suddenly flustered Kylian to the extent his skin started to feel burning hot when he saw the sincere concern for him in his eyes. He quickly leaped a step back and swatted Zenith’s hand away from him, while trying to act casual, "I-I am fine, I wasn’t t-thinking of anything."

"But your cheeks and nose tip look reddened, and your skin feels warm to touch. Are you feeling sick again—"

"I said I am fine, so you can just leave me on my own now." Every time Kylian sensed genuine concern from Zenith, his uneasy palpitations would crowd a deep fear of abandonment in his heart, which would further urge him to keep a distance from Zenith in the first place. However, it wasn’t easy to maintain.

Quite forcing him to leave now, when Kylian walked towards the door and opened it for him, Zenith sulked with a heavy sigh, "What an ungrateful pet I have. I went through so much trouble to bring you safely here, and now you are almost selfishly kicking out your Master."

"I am not." Kylian clicked his tongue, and his tone sounded irked, "This is my room, and I am just asking you to leave so I can get some rest."

"But your room looks so cozy, it makes me urge to spend the night here with you." Zenith suddenly blurted out his request, while trying to act cute to pursue him, "Could you please let me stay tonight?"
