Chapter 92 - 84 Prophecy
Chapter 92: Chapter 84 Prophecy
The voice carried neither joy nor sorrow, just a lingering sigh.
With the majestic voice falling, the scene before them instantly became ephemeral, and Shan En alongside Kagawus witnessed it darken at an unimaginable speed—this was all they were allowed to glimpse.
Shan En trembled all over, the words striking his nerves.
At this moment, he realized something and turned to Prophetic God Kagawus, saying,
"Prophecy! Kagawus!
While this vision of the future lingers, make your prophecy! Let us see it more clearly!"
Kagawus shuddered, snapping back to reality.
The clearer the future, the more accurate the prophecy, as Shan En had said—now was the opportune moment for prophecy.
Kagawus immediately employed his Prophetic Divine Power, and the entire star trembled under its influence. He exerted all his might, making the prophecy before the future vision faded.
In an instant, Kagawus’s eyes were illuminated by a light whose origin was unknown, and he keenly felt his soul splitting apart bit by bit, beyond his own control.
His soul seemed to tear into strands, cast into a great fire to burn. Kagawus let out a piercing cry, the light in his eyes growing more intense, and the star beneath his feet triggered a massive quake, the sound of the mantle splitting was deafening.
Until, in his prophecy, he saw a Divine Entity enshrouded in light.
That was the father of the stars, the God of the Logos people.
"Grant me permission to prophesy."
With the stars breaking apart, Kagawus’s trembling voice pleaded.
Before long, the glowing figure vanished from his sight, and the light casting upon Kagawus’s eyes dimmed instantaneously.
Afterwards,
Kagawus saw the prophecy.
His horrified voice resonated instantaneously throughout the starry expanse.
"I hear, in Heaven, thousands upon thousands of angels congregating; forged of fire, they call upon that pristine Holy Realm, to be with the Lord forever; on Earth, countless living beings pray, endowed with rationality, beseeching the coming of the Heavenly Kingdom from the Cloud Sea, to walk with God.
I see, God established Laws in the Heavenly Kingdom, an Ancient Scroll dubbed Fate unfurls, everything created between Heaven and Earth, along with the Golden Age the Gods wrought, all souls, to be delineated upon the Ancient Scroll, the Gods will lose their vitality to govern the Mortal World, as the Father upon the throne makes an eternal covenant with the Gods."
By the end of the prophecy, the volume of his chant increased; none of this was within Kagawus’s control, as if that ultimate being were declaring through Kagawus’s mouth to this Celestial Kingdom.
"I see, I hear, all things in this world are prepared for God. All victories must be yielded, presented to the seven sacred deities of Heaven, the Rescuer, King of Kings, Master of Fate, he who was sacrificed and suffered, born thrice, faded thrice, and rebuilt from the beginning to end."
The prophecy of Prophetic God Kagawus concluded.
The sacred grand prophecy echoed among the stars, and countless stars, after a faint quivering, resumed their normal trajectories.
The soul constructed by Prophetic Divine Power slumped onto the surface of the star, now filled with scars.
...
The Gods had listened to Kagawus’s prophecy.
Prophecies often blurred, convoluted, dark, and difficult to explain, this one that echoed through the Celestial Kingdom left the Divine puzzled.
However puzzled, all the Gods took notice of this momentous tumult.
Three Divine debated, unclear on what had transpired, positing numerous guesses, but none held certainty.
In the distant starry sky, the scarred Prophetic Star and the Lightning-swathed Thunderbolt Star approached the Gods, awaiting the return of Kagawus and Shan En, after which the other three Divine crowded around them, eager to understand.
When Water God Angel saw Kagawus’s nearly shattered star, shock crawled over her face.
"What happened? Kagawus."
The Gods all looked towards Kagawus who had uttered the prophecy; after all, his words had resonated through the cosmos,
"What’s wrong, Kagawus? What... what exactly caused you such harm?"
Kagawus hung his head, the Prophetic God seeming to have suffered a great blow, still languishing in weakness.
The three Divine kept questioning, but no answer came from Kagawus’s mouth.
Then, the three Divine turned their gazes to Divine King Shan En.
The typically reticent Yikabe actually took the initiative to inquire,
"Our Divine King,
What has caused such secrecy among you?"
Divine King Shan En did not utter a word, the star under his feet raised layer upon layer of storms, and the roaring of thunder and lightning revealed his tumultuous thoughts.
It was clear that what they saw from history was too absurd, leaving him unsure of where to start.
A Holy Realm above the Cloud Sea...
A father enveloped in light...
At this time, Dragon God Endora also spoke, advising,
"Shan En, what did you see, exactly? We are members of the Gods, we have a right to know."
Water God Angel similarly urged,
"Our King, I know the prophecy was so frightening, rendering you speechless for a moment.
But the prophecy that ’Gods will lose their vitality to govern the Mortal World.’ That is too terrifying. You must speak up, otherwise we cannot rest."
Shan En surveyed the assembled Gods.
After a long silence, he finally spoke,
"I saw a Holy Kingdom, that is our Father’s Kingdom."
"I saw... our long-faded Father, who will return from decay."
"And in Kagawus’s prophecy, it said, He will make a covenant with us, and the Gods will henceforth lose their vitality to govern the Mortal World..."
