Chapter 75: Coco’s attack

"Holy crap!" Renaldo exclaimed, his hands clutching both sides of his head as he watched Coco rip off the rock hard armor of the tough crocodile with no sign of struggle.

Renaldo and Jacques both jumped up when they heard the door slammed open, and they were ready to scream at the person who had the audacity to go inside the shop without permission only to have their jaws drop to the floor.

Coco has dragged the massive crocodile inside the shop, the crowd that formed behind her all letting out a collective murmur of disbelief.

The word travelled around the village and almost immediately, most of them had already formed a line outside of the shop, their eyes trained on the crocodile before it disappeared from their sight after Coco closed the door.

Then, Renaldo told Coco that his butcher knife won’t be able to cut through the crocodile’s tough hide.

Thus, the start of Coco’s brutal and quick administration of ripping off the tough crocodile’s armor with one hand, a look of concentration on her face.

"You’re unexpectedly strong— it takes two or three days to have the tough crocodile’s hide to get off, but you’re ripping everything off without breaking a sweat!" Renaldo said, the tone of disbelief and amusement evident in his voice.

"I’m in a hurry." Coco simply responded and continued to rip off the armor, throwing the pieces down on the basin that Jacques provided, "I left my husbands out of the village gate. I don’t want them to be left alone for long so I’m doing this as fast as I can."

Coco let out a grunt as she stripped off the last hide from the crocodile’s body.

"Oh..! Then you can stop from the body and have the rest peeled off later? I still have to butcher it anyway." Renaldo suggested, hoping that he wasn’t bothering Coco from spending time with her spouses.

Coco ceased her brutal ripping and stared at the wall for a moment, contemplating Renaldo’s offer.

"Alright." She agreed and backed away from the crocodile, walking over to the sink so she could wash her hands, removing the blood of the monster.

"Have a safe trip." The butcher chimed out as Coco rushed outside of the shop.

The people who were lined up perked up when they heard the door open, but physically deflated when they saw Coco run past them, her footsteps fast and light, as if she was in a hurry to get somewhere.

Due to her sprinting as fast as she could, she reached the village’s gates in no time.

She didn’t waste any time to start running towards the direction where she left the basket with the mediators.

"No! Stop!"

Coco paused, her attention drawn by the panicked yell.

Her ears picked up the faint echo of begging and the sound of men’s obnoxious laughing.

Coco’s heart began to pound as she immediately started sprinting towards the source of the panicked cries, her gaze searching the distance for any sign of who or what was causing the commotion.

The sounds grew louder as she got near, the sound of laughing and pleading growing closer.

"No, please! Y-You can’t..!"

It didn’t take long for Coco to get out of the trees and step quietly into a clearing.

Her heart leapt into her throat as she caught sight of Alhai and Heiren being surrounded by a group of rowdy men— their hands holding the mediators’ wrists as half of the group Snickers to themselves.

Their faces were pale and their movements panicked, their eyes wide in fear and it was obvious that the group of men were planning to do something sinister to them.

She couldn’t just stand by and watch them get hurt or experience something horrible.

Before she knew it, her body had moved on its own.

Coco’s movements were lightning fast as she closed the distance between herself and the nearest man, who was caught off guard by her sudden attack.

With a swift, powerful swing, she brought her knee up into his gut, the force of the blow knocking the wind out of him and had him flying a few away from his spot.

His body rolled over the ground several times before he stopped and doubled over, gasping for air, his cry of pain choked off— catching the attention of the others and making them aware of her presence.

Without waiting to see if he would recover, she spun towards the next man, her expression blank and eyes dark.

She darted past one of the men, sidestepping his clumsy attempt to grab her.

She retaliated with a quick, strong kick, her foot connecting with his ankle for a moment which sent him stumbling back to the ground.

"You bitch!" He let out a curse that was pointed at her, his expression turning ugly and unpleasant for Coco’s eyes as he scrambled to get back to his feet, but Coco didn’t give him a chance.

With her eyes now fixed on the man on the ground, she clenched her hand into a tight fist and delivered a powerful blow on his stomach.

"Aghn!" The man could only let out pained gasp before his eyes rolled back to his head, bubbles coming out of his mouth as he passed out from the impact of Coco’s punch.

Coco didn’t let any of the men grab her— $he was outnumbered, but she was fast on her feet, her attacks quick and strong.

She dodged every clumsy attempt of hurting her and darted in, striking out with a quick, strong jab or a low kick before finishing them off, her attacks aimed at their stomachs or faces.

Every attack she makes, she knocks them out of their wits.

The men might be bigger, but they were slower and clumsier than the woman who attacked them relentlessly and knocked them out.

By the time she kicked the last man down, several bodies could be seen around her.
