Chapter 47: Choice

Tim and Idah resumed their walk in the town. This time Idah had a new mission from Tim.

It was to find Tim a suitable place to take a nap. Apart from being half dead or knocked out, Tim had not really had any decent nap since his arrival to the Fantasiaa world.

Now he was on a mission to find one, he had already had his first battle and his first meal. Now it was time for him to have his first nap.

[ Ding!

Your 4 summons has fully recovered from their temporary slumber.

]

Tim got an alert from his system that indicated that the 4 summons that the lost during his battle with Taz had successfully recovered.

Honestly Tim understood the reason why the summons had a timer for them to respawn. It was very simple, because he did not possess any single drop of mana.

With all the battles that Tim had faced so far, in his short life on the planet Fantasiaa. Tim had not possessed any mana.

The battle spells that he casted were as a result of him using his broken Death Embrace skill on his reserve undead members.

Now that the summons was back, Tim had a certain level of confidence and safety that he did not have previously.

With his summons, his undead he had a variety of combo that he wanted to try. He still regretted the fact that he misplaced the opportunity to make Taz to be his undead minion, but such was life. You gain some and you lose some.

Idah finally reached a well structured and neat building that was literally named, The Sleeping Inn.

Without Idah explaining further, Tim knew that this was the place where they were going to take a nap. Well, the place where he was going to take a nap.

His undead did not need sleep. They were already dead so no sleep for them. But Tim in question needed sleep.

Since his necromancy did not run on his mana, he figured that the broken blessing ran on his stamina. At least that was his assumption.

"Welcome customer! To The Sleeping Inn. What level of room might you require tonight." The attendant asked in an excited tone.

From the looks of things around the inn. Tim could tell that the business did not have any customer. So, he and Idah were probably their first customer of the day. Hence the attendant’s excited-ness.

Tim not even knowing how the business is done around the town went to sit on a nearby chair to wait for Idah to finish with the ordering.

"We want to spend the night in your most luxurious room." Idah said.

"The attendant’s eyes widened when Idah used the word, we, but the attendant hurriedly wiped off the surprised look on her face.

"It will cost a lot sir s-"

Idah interrupted the attendant’s sleep by slamming a pouch filled with coins.

"We will take your best room." Idah said with a cold stare.

"I am on it sir." The attendant replied as she hurriedly grabbed the key to their most luxurious room and escorted the both of them to the room.

When Tim got to the room, he was not too surprised. The room basically contained a big bed, some paintings, a window, a table, a lamp and a lady that Tim presumed to be a prostitute.

’Tch, typical of them to do something like that.’

"We would not be needing the services of the lady thank you." Tim said before Idah could say the word for him.

He admired beautiful women, but he had standards. He wouldn’t just go around and start to sleep with different women just because he had the chance to do it.

He had a high standard and prostitutes were not on his list.

The prostitute, hearing Tim’s words stood up and took her leave immediately, but has she passed Tim. He noticed something.

She was an elf and in addition to that she had a branding on her back and it read "Property Of The Sleeping Inn."

"Stop!" Tim yelled out.

This matter was really frustrating him. why were so many elves trafficked? Heck why did he even care too much about the affairs of the elves?

Tim did not know what was driving his emotion. Whether it was his earthly morals or the morals of the original Tim or it was the both of them.

He did not know which drove him, but he could not just overlook somethings, especially when it is brought to his attention.

Looking at the grown woman who stopped as she was leaving, Tim asked "Do you want to be free from your duties as a prostitute?"

The question was straightforward but it had other meanings to it. He wanted to see how deep the prostitute was in the business.

Both the attendant and the prostitute were shocked by Tim’s question. They had never met any one that would ask such a question to a prostitute.

Tim looked at the prostitute waiting for an answer, and he eventually got his answer.

"I like the work I am doing. I have been working as a prostitute for over 7 years right now and I can say.

The pay is good. Maybe should try and become a prostitute yourself since you want to involve yourself in another person’s business." The prostitute said, as she left the room.

The attendant witnessing what just happened bowed her head and apologized. "I am sorry sir for the behavior of our staff. Because of that you will get free basic meals throughout your stay here."

"Hmm." Idah replied the attendant because Tim was still shocked by what happened.

All the prostitute needed to do was to answer yes, and Tim would have rescued her from her life long slavery that she was into, but she turned his offer down.

"I guess after a while they would be brainwashed or become comfortable with their realities.

I gave her a choice to be free and she rejected it. That is just sad." Tim said, as he jumped on the massive bed and immediately went into a deep slumber.
