Necromancer Supreme: I Can Use All The Skills Of My Summons -
Chapter 46: First Meal
Chapter 46: First Meal
"Your order." The attendee asked once more.
Tim immediately snapped out of his stupor. He felt sort of embarrassed for losing his composure so quick. He was just surprised.
Coupled with his days of reading fantasy novels and comics, he did engage himself in admiring beauties.
He just had a thing for them and honestly the attendee in front of him was the first beauty that he had his attention on since he transmigrated.
’I can’t lose focus like that. I refuse to be like those MC’S.’ Tim thought as he straightened his face and looked at the attendant in her eye.
This was an internal battle that he was going have with himself going forward.
The attendant looking at Tim stare into her eyes, blushed a little. Tim who was a handsome elf with royal bloodline had no idea of how good looking he was.
He only just thought of himself to be one with a royal bloodline, but outside of that his facial features were really appealing to all genders.
His attractive looks were also part of the reason why people stared at him since he entered the town but how would a nerdy guy who was mainly interested in battle know of such a thing.
"Get us your finest steak dish." Idah said, as he broke the uncomfortable tension that was building up.
"Y-yes sir." The attendant said as she rushed to get their orders.
Tim in turn was relieved and surprised. Relieved by the fact that the cringe mood that he was feeling was finally over. And surprised by the fact that Idah spoke on his behalf.
’A robot would not do that. Did he notice my awkwardness and decide to rescue me? That is impressive.’
Idah seeing Tim look at him immediately knew what he was thinking and spoke. "Apologies my king for speaking on your behalf. I assumed that you had no idea of what they serve here and decided to order the best meal for you."
"Hmm, it is alright. It is good that you can make decisions on your own.
I would not want a summon that wants to hear my instructions before he can make a decision that would benefit me." Tim said, as he popped the hoodie on his coat on to cover his hair and ears.
Later on, the attendant came over with their order. Tim skeptical about the type of meal that they would serve in a place that was shabby was surprised when the first whisper of the meal passed through his nostrils.
The whiff of the meat alone almost made him start to salivate. This was it, the first time that he would eat in another world.
Although it was in a shabby place, Tim did not care because the quality of the meal was something else.
Without even waiting for Idah to pay for the meal, he dug in. Different combinations of flavors assaulted Tim’s mouth as he ate.
Heck, he did not even know which type of meat he was eating but he knew that he was enjoying himself.
....
In an underground room, filled with different cages containing trafficked individuals. 2 men were on their seat, listening to the words that was being told by a guard.
If Tim was to see the guard that was talking. He would know that the guard talking was the same guard that let them into the city, after collecting a bribe.
"Sir Idah arrived with an elf, one with a royal bloodline. He was not escorted by his teem members.
He also did not bring the goods that you were expecting sir. I think Idah has been compromised by the elven kingdom." The guard said, not leaving out any key detail
Smashing his hand on the metal table, Ixar responded. "That is impossible. How can Idah be compromised. If he were to be compromised, then wouldn’t our operations be busted by now.
Or better still, a full squad of elves would have come over to catch us, but Idah just came with an elf.
What can a royal elf do to us who run this town behind the scenes."
"What you say is true Ixar, but we must consider the fact that Idah returned without his gang or any carriage. What makes the matter even more suspicious is the fact that Idah and Taz always move together.
But today Idah was not with Taz. Elven people are the type of commodity that sell the most in this town.
Why would Idah come to this town with an elf. Especially one that is not in chains." Italo said, as he tried to see reason in the guard’s words.
"Hmm, Taz promised to supply those fresh batch of elf to us, and now he has brought nothing. After paying 10 pieces of gold upfront!" Ixar yelled in frustration by the turn of events.
If what the guard was saying was true, then it means that they were ripped off by Idah.
"We will get our money back Ixar. Fret not.
We will get our money then sell of that royal elf. Royals are always pricy. I am sure of that. hehehe" Italo replied with a weird giggle aiming to ease Ixar’s concerns.
"Yes, we would sell that royal bloodline to recover from our losses.
Use what ever resource that you must keep an eye on the duo. Idah has betrayed me and I will give him a death that would send a warning to the underground world to not mess with Ixar!"
....
"That was a very delicious meal. Better than I expected it to be.
Now Idah, find me a place for me to rest and take a very long nap. Tomorrow, we search for basic necessities."
"Yes, my king. I will take you to the best place in town where you will enjoy your rest." Idah said, as both of them stood up from their seats and left the pub.
Unknown to Tim, there were already plans behind the scenes to capture him because of his bloodline and his previous actions.
