After showing the king of Lotus our information and confirming that we were the people he was meant to share the location of the relic, he gave us a brief summary of how the relic’s story was passed down in his family.

The existence of the relic was something that every king who had ruled in Lotus knew about, but none of them ever expected to meet the supposed "child of the gods" during their lifetime, including Daisuke.

The king called a servant and ordered him to bring us a map. In the meantime, I asked Vespera if she knew about the Snow Dragon, considering it was supposed to be a Legendary Beast like her.

"As far as I know, there is only one Snow Dragon. I haven’t seen her in like 300 years, though..." said Vespera.

"Do you think it actually died?" I asked.

"I doubt it. Dragons tend to sleep for a very long time," she continued.

When we received the map from the king, we noticed that we needed to cross the town called "Kiyokawa," which Vespera had placed a magic quartz the night before.

It would only save us a few hours of travel, but that was still pretty good for us.

After the meeting was over, we left the throne room with Keiko guiding us and got intercepted by Prince Minato, who was waiting for us to finish to speak to us.

He approached us with an expression filled with anger and stomping his way until he was a few feet away from us.

"Listen, you may have tricked my father, but I know your kind. You are nothing but a con artist, am I right!?" he said with an annoying tone while pointing at me.

"A con artist? Explain how am I cheating..." I calmly replied.

"Obviously, you are using a spell to change your information to show exactly what my father wanted to see!" he continued.

*sigh* "We don’t have time for this..." I said, moving to the side and trying to continue our way to the castle’s courtyard.

Still, Minato purposely stood in my way and blocked me from walking. "I challenge you to a duel!" he shouted.

His challenge caught the attention of the servants who were walking around, but more than that, it caught the attention of the king, who was coincidentally leaving the room and heard the entire commotion.

"A duel sounds good," said the king with a smirk on his face while glancing at me.

’Does he want me to beat up his son?’ I thought.

Even though I didn’t want to waste my time fighting the annoying prince, I figured I would just do it fast so we could keep going on our way.

We were supposed to leave the castle as soon as our meeting was finished, but now we had to wait a few more hours for the prince to prepare for the duel.

With the help of his servants, he put on an elegant armor that resembled that of an ancient samurai and wielded a long katana that they called "odachi," which, honestly, looked pretty nice.

It took him two hours to get fully prepared. Meanwhile, I was just wearing my usual comfortable clothing with my poncho.

The arena of the castle was quite large, and we had all of the servants and royal family members as spectators.

"Commence the duel!" exclaimed one of the servants, making Prince Minato rush at me with his sword raised over his head.

I didn’t even pull out my bo since I decided to embarrass Minato in front of everyone for being a disrespectful prick, so I just avoided his attack with one step to the side and used a single finger fused with air magic to push him from the side.

It was only a finger with compressed air, but it hit him strong enough that it felt like a punch to the ribs.

In a fit of rage and desperation, Minato kept attacking me non-stop with his odachi, but I could literally avoid all of his attacks with my eyes closed.

"You are just an impostor. I will prove it!" Minato shouted in the middle of his onslaught of attacks.

*sigh* "Alright, enough..." I replied, stopping his blade with two fingers right as it was about to slice my neck.

Minato started tugging back his sword to release it from my grip, but he wasn’t strong enough to do so and just kept struggling.

I fused my two fingers with earth magic and made the blade vibrate before shattering, leaving Minato utterly shocked as he was wide open for an attack.

However, instead of blasting him away or punching him in the gut, I used gravity magic to make him kneel, knowing that this was the type of thing that a noble would find the most embarrassing.

"You expect to be king like this? You probably should’ve looked in the mirror when looking for the impostor..." I said, looking down on him as he couldn’t resist the weight of his own body.
