My Love Debts Are Everywhere!
Chapter 651 - 651: A Special Date With Zelda - Part 2

"Leon, look at that accessory booth!" Zelda tugged on Leon's hand, pointing to a booth on the right side of the street. "Do you want to check it out?"

Although she posed it as a question, Leon knew she was the one who truly wanted to go.

One look at those hopeful eyes, and Leon knew—if he refused, tears were likely on the way.

Leon let out a small chuckle and nodded. "Alright, let's go."

"Yay!" Zelda clenched her fists in excitement.

They walked toward the booth. It was small but offered a wide variety of accessories—rings, bracelets, and other pieces of jewelry.

"Welcome, customers," the booth keeper greeted politely and respectfully.

She was a young female elf—short in stature but quite beautiful.

Leon examined the bracelets, rings, and necklaces neatly displayed in small, open, carved wooden boxes, which made the items pleasant to look at.

"Is this real gold?" Leon asked, pointing at a necklace on the right.

It was gold-colored with a heart-shaped pendant in the center.

"Of course, customer," the booth keeper replied enthusiastically.

"What about this one?" Zelda suddenly asked, pointing at a sparkling white ring. "Is this real crystal?"

"Yes! It's made from real crystal too, Miss," the booth keeper replied with a gentle smile. "By the way, everything here is genuine, so the prices might be a little high."

She scratched her cheek awkwardly.

Typically, jewelers like her rented large shops along the main street to sell luxury items.

But to save money, she chose to work from a small stall like this one.

Naturally, that decision came with risks—many customers, expecting cheap imitations, were hesitant to buy.

Worse, they often questioned the authenticity of her products, forcing her to deal with unnecessary arguments.

"Alright, I get it!" Zelda replied enthusiastically. "Please wrap up these two rings—and that gold necklace."

She pointed at the one Leon had asked about earlier.

But Leon suddenly stopped her. "No, Zelda. Don't buy the necklace. Let me get it."

Zelda frowned, about to protest, but Leon gently patted her shoulder.

"It's okay. I'm buying it as a gift for someone," he said with a meaningful tone.

"A gift for someone?" Zelda blinked in surprise. Naturally, her first thought was that it might be for her.

But she wasn't the type to assume. It could just as easily be for Elina, the First Elder, the Spirit of the World Tree, or even the Fairy Queen.

Just thinking of those names made her puff her cheeks in annoyance—but she kept her thoughts to herself.

With a stiff, forced smile, she nodded slowly. "Alright… I understand."

Afterward, Leon and Zelda paid for their items and continued their date night.

But for some reason, Zelda grew unusually quiet. She kept glancing away, as if she no longer wanted to look at Leon.

As someone well-versed in dealing with women, Leon quickly understood the reason behind her shift in mood.

"Pfft, she's probably sulking over that gold necklace," he thought, chuckling softly to himself.

He glanced at the small wooden box in the bag he held in his left hand, his eyes filled with anticipation.

The two continued their leisurely stroll. While it had seemed like a casual shopping trip at first, Leon realized it was actually a date.

And since Zelda had never been on one before, she naturally didn't know what to do.

Fortunately, Leon had been on plenty—with Liliana, Athena, Luna, and Arshley—so he knew exactly where to go next.

"Have you eaten yet, Zelda? Why don't we stop by that restaurant first?" Leon pointed to a fairly large restaurant on the left side of the street.

Zelda paused and looked in that direction. She was about to decline when her stomach let out a loud rumble.

Zelda: "..."

Her face flushed bright red as she quickly covered her stomach. When she looked up, Leon was already watching her with a knowing, amused smile.

"I-I can explain," she stammered, her cheeks burning.

"Pfft!" Leon finally burst into laughter. He gently took her right hand and led her toward the restaurant. "No need to be shy—I get it. Come on."

As soon as she felt his large, slightly rough palm, Zelda's embarrassment began to fade, replaced by a radiant smile that bloomed on her lips.

"Welcome, customers."

As soon as they entered the restaurant, an elven waitress greeted them politely.

Leon gave a small nod. "A table for two, please."

"Yes, customer. Right this way," the waitress replied kindly, then led them to a table set for two.

After they sat down, she handed each of them a menu.

Being a large and upscale restaurant, the menu naturally featured a wide selection of luxurious dishes. The prices were steep—out of reach for most ordinary people.

But for Zelda, a queen, cost wasn't a concern.

Leon picked out a few dishes—mostly meat and fish—and made sure to include several of Zelda's favorites.

Having shared a bed for over a week and often chatting before sleep, Leon had come to know her well.

He even remembered the little things—her favorite color, her preferred foods, and the subtle expressions she made when she was sad or sulking.

Zelda felt a quiet warmth bloom in her chest. Being cared for like this—it felt deeply comforting.

She gazed at Leon, eyes filled with burning affection.

Noticing her stare, Leon grew a bit self-conscious. He liked to think he was immune to beauty, but when it came to someone like Zelda—who rivaled even Liliana, Athena, Arshley, and Luna—it was a different story.

He took a sip of the tea that had just been served, then said casually, "By the way, I went to the fairy territory earlier. I had a fortune-telling done about my trip in four days."

Zelda's eyes widened. She had nearly forgotten—Leon would be leaving soon.

Sadness and anxiety slowly crept over her, but she tried to stay composed and keep her emotions hidden.

"So, how did it go?" She asked, doing her best to suppress the sorrow building in her chest.

"The results were quite satisfying," Leon replied, stirring his tea slowly with a wooden spoon. "Sophia—the fairy who formed a contract with Elina—told me the exact location of the Dwarven race, along with the safe routes I can take."

"I see..." Zelda nodded slowly, then looked up and gave him a faint smile. "That's good. I'm glad to hear it. Just… please be careful on your journey, alright?"

Leon's sharp eyes didn't miss the slight tremble in her voice or the sadness hidden behind her gaze.

But he chose not to mention it. Instead, he smiled softly and said, "Thank you."
