"So...she is Bella?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Then let’s hurry up. Bella is waiting."

Felix and Anne now stood in front of the bed where Asher was laying on, his eyes seemingly sleepy, staring at the two guests.

Asher smiled at Anne who was staring at him worriedly, then gently patted her head.

"I missed you."

Anns said as she held Asher’s hand on her head, then not letting him take his hand away.

Then soon, Asher was shocked as he saw the little girl shake and burst into tears.

"I missed you so much."

Felix was taken aback by her sudden outburst and rushed to pick her up and comfort her as Asher might feel overwhelmed as he said to feel heavy and painful everywhere.

Even Felix himself felt guilty bothering Asher as he looked drained.

"Why are you crying? You first have to tell her what your sister’s name is going to be."

Felix said and Anne who was thankfully immediately distracted, finally looked around to catch the sight of her sister as she realised she all of a sudden forgot to look for her upon seeing Asher who looked somewhat...like someone she has to cry for.

"Bella..."

Anne’s eyes glowed as the last tears dropped through her cheeks that were now plumped as she grinned.

"She is sleeping. We can’t be loud."

Felix whispered to Anne, all the peoples’ eyes now on the tiny little baby that was carefully wrapped in white cloth, placed next to Asher’s head in a wooden box.

She was...indeed beautiful.

All the suffering, all the restless nights....

Everything was worth it.

Asher felt like crying again as he looked at the little baby again...

All happy tears...

He has never felt so happy.

Never had he ever felt so happy, not even with Felix...

It felt disappointing in some way to even think out.

But, who gave this baby to him anyway?

It’s Felix who makes Asher still feel excited whenever his eyes catch his figure.

It all thanks to Felix his life had turned out like this.

Or...thanks to Anne.

Yeah, it was Anne.

She was the beginning of his story with Felix.

She was there when Felix wasn’t.

She brought him to Felix.

Or, she brought Felix to him.

Anne was indeed a lucky charm.

Just like how she had been one for depressed young Felix.

"I missed you too, little Anne."

Asher said, his voice hoarse.

"Hehe...Father Ash finally doesn’t call me Miss anymore."

Anne whispered to Asher but soon her eyes, big and wide, turned to look at the baby with excitement again.

"Shall we let your father rest a little more then?"

"Yeah, sleep well father. I love you. And Bella too."

Anne whispered again, her voice shaking.

Since when did she start to cry so much?

Felix ended up coming out with a toddler that was crying yet trying to silence the hiccups in fear of disturbing Asher and Bella.

’Sigh...She is adorable. I want to talk with her more. But I want to sleep. A little more.’

Asher was already asleep when he finished his thoughts.

Obviously, he deserves some good sleep after all this...

And, the others let him have it...

"So we are going to have a good time!"

Anne screamed happily and Felix put his finger on his lips, motioning her to lower her voice even though he knew their voice would not reach Asher but he still did it unintentionally.

"You seem happier than all of us. Wait, are you excited about Karl coming? Are you not excited we are all here?"

Lucas looked at Anne and teased her which she didn’t understand and felt bad.

"No...I love brother Lucas. I love my father. I love my father Ash. I love brother Karl. I love Bella. I love me. I love all of us. Isn’t it the best when we are all going to be together? We can party!"

Anne screamed again and Felix looked at her, sighed, then pulled at her hair in a gentle manner.

"You can discuss partying once your brother Karl is here, okay?"

"Okay!"

"Till then, sit down and be silent, got it?"

"Mm..."

Felix said. His tone was not very harsh but Anne obediently sat back down and munched on a snack pack Lucas brought out from his storage for her which she then shared with them also.

"So...how did it go?"

Felix asked Lucas as they were now left alone by Anne who was distracted by the snacks.

"Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, just as expected. I still feel like I didn’t just get a baby out of a man."

Lucas chuckled and said, sighing.

"Felix, but we still have one more thing."

"What is it?"

"That red mole...."

Lucas said and Felix, whose breath stopped for a moment, sighed.

"...It’s still there, isn’t it?"

Felix asked.

"Mm..."

"What should we do about it?"

"Lets wait to see if it still turns back to normal when he recovers. If not, we should consult the witch to find out if it being red means something."

"Okay then..."

"Haha...So...she is Bella?"

Following the silence, Lucas asked Felix in a joyful manner, intending to distract Felix from worrying more. Lucas had to inform him about this before he might forget as this was important. But he didn’t mean to ruin the happy moment by bringing up something worrisome so he lightened up the mood quickly.

"Yeah. We let Anne name her."

"Haha...I guess she must have been excited. But it’s going to be tough with a newborn."

"Mmm...Maybe her grandfather can help us."

Felix said with a chuckle and Lucas also laughed along, nodding.

"I am going to make that guy help too once he is here!"

Lucas said and as Felix also grinned, they were then disturbed by Anne who came to complain her snack bag was empty.

"Let me bring you one more."

"Hey, don’t give her too much. That’s enough now Anne."

Felix complained and stopped Lucas.

"Why?"

Lucas asked and Anne also turned to Felix, then repeated the same.

"Why? please...just one more."

"Right. She just got a sister. That’s a big thing to celebrate with two snack bags, isn’t it Anne?"

"Yeah! I need two snack bags."

"Sigh..."

Seeing Lucas having fun messing with him, Felix just gave in since it’s not that of a bad thing he was trying to do.

"Okay. Just one more."

Lucas soon left to grab another with Felix’s permission and when left alone, Anne looked at Felix, smiled.

"I am very happy."

"Because you get more snacks?"

"No...I feel different and that’s why I’m happy."

"Different?"

"Mm..."

"What do you mean by different?"

"I don’t know...just different. I am happy, father. I love Bella and father Ash too. I want more. Can you ask brother Ash to give me another sister? Maybe a brother?"

Felix stared at Anne, dumbfounded as he didn’t expect her to ask something like that. And, yeah, he obviously wasn’t prepared to answer that but thankfully Lucas arrived.

"...Ah! Look. Your snacks are here."

Good thing she was more excited about the snack than to get an answer...

But...

Why is she already talking about one more sibling?

Unfortunately, That wish of hers might not come true...

Because Felix had already decided.

They wouldn’t be having anymore kids.

Whether Asher could do it or not, this is enough trauma for Asher.
