But...It wasn’t the worst either.

"If you guys are scared, don’t worry. He is not dying."

Felix wasn’t very pleased to hear those sarcastic words from the witch but he just endured it as he wanted the witch to look after Asher.

Felix had met this woman before. That was also because Lucas brought him there.

’She is as arrogant as back then...’

Actually, Felix knew nothing important about this witch. People say she is more than 100 years old even though she looks like she is in her 30s. He doesn’t care about that though. What he cared about was if she could help Asher.

Maybe...she can. Even though she couldn’t help Felix. Or she could but didn’t do it.

Whatever...Felix knew no one owes it to help him. He was on his own...

"Miss, we are worried. So please explain if he is really okay."

Lucas said and the witch sighed.

"It’s been forever since I saw an omega. That also a pregnant one. This is amazing."

The witch said with a smile, checking the unconscious Asher who was lying on the bed.

"You are a physician, right?"

The witch turned to Lucas and asked to which Lucas agreed.

"How much do you know about omegas?"

"...Not much. What I know can’t be a big help."

"Mm...Then I am pretty sure you have no idea what’s going on. It seems like this omega here is finally experiencing the real pregnancy. With a male body like this, it’s gonna be tough."

The witch said and sighed, ready to answer curious Lucas who had a lot of questions.

"So...there is nothing wrong with him?"

"...No, if we put aside the fact he is pregnant."

The witch said and rolled her eyes at Felix.

She seemed to hate the fact Asher is pregnant...

"...We found him passed out. Wh-"

"It’s because of the pain. He is fine. But weak."

The witch said impatiently, disturbing Lucas while he was talking. But Lucas was not very offended. Despite her poor manners, she most of the time knew almost everything anyone would want to know. So...Lucas somehow looked up to her for her wide knowledge.

"Is the pain because of the child?"

Lucas questioned.

"Yeah. His body isn’t the same as a woman’s. Infact, it’s a big mess that has gotten more messy with things like this happening."

"...So, It’s just because he is pregnant and there is nothing wrong with him now?"

"Mm...from what I know, most of the time it takes around 7 months for an omega to actually start feeling pregnant. The stomach will grow, the pains and the discomfort will begin. Just treat him like how you would treat a very pregnant woman that is very sensitive."

"...I see...but the baby is only five months old though. So...?"

"Things can be different from person to person. So, guess it’s five months for him...Unlucky."

The witch said indifferently.

"...And, is it normal to have his eye mole changed during a pregnancy?"

Lucas had been keeping this one in his mind for sometime now. So he asked about it and was actually taken aback by the witch’s surprised look. So...it’s not a normal thing, is it?

"...His mole changed?"

"Yeah, it changed into a red colour."

"I want to see."

The witch rushed to Asher and gently raised his eyelid, getting the sight of a red mole in the eye.

"Is there anything else?"

The witch asked but her eyes were still examining the red mole.

"He vomited blood. Actually, that’s when we noticed his eye mole had changed too."

"Well, vomiting blood can be a normal thing for an omega when he is pregnant. But you said it appeared when he vomited blood?"

"We only noticed it then. So, I can’t say it appeared at that time."

"Mm...Actually, I had met a pregnant omega before. He was running away from his owner and I sheltered him during the last four months of his pregnancy. He didn’t have anything like this. He had his mole just as usual."

The witch said and frowned, observing Asher’s mole again.

"So...what happened to that omega? Did he give birth?"

"Yeah. He did. But unfortunately, he ran away with the baby later."

"Ran away?"

"Yeah. I was away for a week. During that time I guess he made his decision to leave."

"...I see."

Lucas still had his curiosities about this sudden reveal the witch made, but he decided to not ask more questions as it was out of topic for what they were discussing now.

"Sigh...it’s different from the normal things when you are special. Basically, omegas aren’t having a tough time. They are just different in this world so they are called odd. This is just how omega’s life is. Maybe this red mole thing is also a unique thing for him. Let’s examine him again once he has given birth."

The witch sounded disappointed...and almost emotional?

"Mm..."

"Anything else you want to know?"

"I can come back another time and ask you later, can I?"

Asked Lucas.

"You can. You are welcome."

As Lucas and the witch engaged in their talk, Felix held Asher’s hand, staring at his pale face.

’I don’t want to see you suffer. Please don’t get hurt.’

Felix thought, his eyes filled with regret as he felt responsible for everything happening now.

"Let’s go."

Lucas suddenly patted on Felix’s back and brought him back from the daze. Felix nodded his head with an empty gaze toward Lucas, then left with Lucas as he carried Asher in his arms till they reached the carriage.

"Felix, he is going to be okay. So don’t worry."

Lucas sighed and violently yet gently rubbed Felix’s hair as he mumbled with a confident tone.

Actually...nothing could make Felix believe things are going to be okay.

But...a few comforting words like this...can actually make him feel a little relieved.

He is not alone.

He has Lucas to help Asher.

So...Asher is going to be okay.

’He will be okay.’

Everything will be okay.
