Chapter 105: Like A Dream

"Ashe-!"

Asher jumped on the duke and deepened their kiss, making the duke flinch and take a step back.

However, Felix soon adjusted and kissed him back, but resisted to place his hands anywhere on Asher as he feared Asher might do the same in response, then both of them going further than just a kiss.

No...he needed to go to work.

Thankfully, they just kissed and nothing else happened.

When the duke left the bedroom, Asher also got up, put on his clothes, and left for the servants’ house. He would change his clothes and come back to work. He was doing fine.

Somehow, the duke’s gentle behaviour had lessened the pain and numbness that was left after sex. Still, whenever he recalled the duke being gentle, it made him feel so impatient.

He liked the gentle duke only while they were kissing so Asher could take over. He likes to...take the lead. But during sex, he wanted the duke to be horny. The duke really had such self control that Asher would have done anything to mess with it during sex.

However, somehow now he had gotten used to it with just one or two times, which changed his preference to taking the lead during sex too. It made him excited to see the duke listening to him and doing what he asked.

The duke is a good boy, so obedient...

And, he liked to see the duke flinch whenever he did something.

He liked to see the duke embarrassed and trying to hide it when Asher beocome horny.

He had become so kinky with the duke being so innocent and easy to control. Not going to lie, Asher was now actually getting very comfortable ordering around the duke during intimate acts. And, isn’t it the best when the duke also follows his orders? So cute...

From that day on, Asher found himself being quite mischievous every time he saw the duke.

He would be going to the duke’s office twice a day thanks to Anne who sent him there for even little things. However, neither the duke nor Asher was displeased since they get to see each other that way. They both liked to see each other.

And, after around two days around, Asher was feeling quite extra bold so he entered the duke’s office, walked to the duke, then kissed him on the lips without saying anything.

When the duke looked at him confused and flustered, Asher had a good answer prepared in his head.

"You looked upset, remember we agreed?"

Then, it happened again.

"I am fulfilling my promise."

Again," Duke must be busy today, you looked really upset."

Again, "Should I give you more kisses because you look a lot more upset than ever."

Again and again...

Even if the duke would be smiling, on purpose to mess with Asher which made Asher more excited to tease him, he would still go and kiss him, giving the same answer.

"You looked upset."

Felix was finding it funny now that he waits for Asher to visit him daily. It just makes his day.

It got so casual to both of them that, eventually, Asher wouldn’t even give any explanation as to why he kissed him. And the duke wouldn’t look surprised either. But well... he obviously blushes no matter how long they have been doing this habit now.

And maybe, this might never get more casual than ever as now Asher just comes in, gives a kiss to the duke who would smile in gratitude then focusing back on his work like nothing happened. And, Asher would feel more generous some days when he would make sure to get the duke’s all attention and give him some more kisses that would be longer and deeper than ever.

No matter how much they kiss, Felix seems to never get sick of them.

Asher felt so happy, giddy and excited every time he saw the duke in his office like that. And...he realised...the duke was waiting for him. It made him grin alone like a crazy person for days just thinking about it.

If he put aside the kissing, even if he could just see the duke, Asher felt very happy.

It wasn’t gratitude, but he was grateful.

It wasn’t admiration, but he admired the duke.

It wasn’t attraction, but he always thought he looked good.

It wasn’t sympathy, but he always had a soft spot for the duke due to his past.

It wasn’t desire, but he would never say no to the duke.

He didn’t know.

He was confused about his own feelings.

But he wasn’t in a rush so he enjoyed these little happy feelings he got from the duke.

So, Asher could say, day by day, his life got better.

He was happier than ever.

He was satisfied with himself more than ever.

He was proud of himself more than ever.

And also...worried about himself more than ever.

The constant worry about doing something to upset the duke was killing him even though no situation like that for him to suspect his own action occurred yet.

Even at the beginning where he kind of feared the duke, he had never been in so much panic or that much deep in thoughts before talking to him in some special times...

But now, he is afraid knowing a lot of the duke’s personal things, he wouldn’t be as supportive as the duke might expect him to be.

He wants to be better.

And it’s annoying him and messing with his sleep.

So yeah, things got quite bad in that way too.

But he was fine.

Life has never been perfect and might never be.

It needs to be balanced by both good and bad.

Now, Asher’s new ambition in life is to be the suporter to the duke. He would get through everything to succeed in his every attempt.

He liked the way his life was going.

Happy and full of hope.

And satisfying for whatever the reason.

Everything felt really good.

Like a really beautiful dream he never wants to end...
