Chapter 206: Shenhua and Shenmei

"Mr. Feng you can come in and see your wife, her condition has been stabilized.."

Feng Shihan quickly rushed it, to see Tang Xue Mei talking to the nurse.

"Ah I see your husband is here, I’ll leave you two to it. Remember if you’re feeling dizzy or you feel something is wrong don’t hesitate to call the hospital.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and turned to look at Feng Shihan who was standing at the corner.

"Shihan..."

Feng Shihan nodded at the nurses who left the room soon after, walking to Xue Mei’s side and stopped when he got to the bed.

"How are you? Thst scared the shit out of me. I’m glad you’re okay.."

Feng Shihan bent down and gave her a kiss on the forehead, a gentle expression on his face as he stared at her.

"It’s like you’ve gotten older.."

Tang Xue Mei chuckled as she reached for his hand, staring at Feng Shihan...she realized she had fulfilled all the wishes she had in her past life.

Ju Jing was no more, she had gotten her wish to see her children and now she was even in a loving marriage.

"I’ve thought of names for the twins.."

"That was fast, let me hear it.."

"Feng Shenhua and Feng Shenmei.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled, those were beautiful names and they were named after flowers.

"I love it, we can all them Huahua and Meimei.."

Feng Shihan nodded and reached into his pocket, feeling the vibration in them.

He looked at the caller and saw that it was Feng Shiyan.

"Hey! Big bro, we heard the news, how’s sister-in-law? Are the twins here??"

"Yes, you, Qin Mingyue, mum and the others can start coming.."

"Alright, got it.."

Feng Shihan ended the call and turned to Tang Xue Mei, he felt they needed a change of room if their family was going to come in there.

"I’ll change your room to a vip one, you’ll be more comfortable there.."

"Yes and then we can bring the twins along, I think they’re still in the nusery.."

Feng Shihan nodded and walked to the door, he didn’t take him long to find the attending nurses.

"I’d like a change of room.."

The nurses agreed to the request, and soon after, the room change was arranged. Feng Shihan returned to Tang Xue Mei’s side, helping her settle into the new, more comfortable room.

Once the new room was ready, the twins were brought from the nursery. Tang Xue Mei held them close as tears rolled out of her eyes.

"Shihan, I’m so happy...I don’t think crying is enough to express how happy I am.."

Feng Shihan smiled and squated in front of Tang Xue Mei, wiping her tears gently.

"Silly thing, you’re even more childish than the babies.."

"..."

"I’m also your baby aren’t I? It’s not childish, I’m allowed to cry if I’m happy, they’re called happy tears.."

"Haha, that’s right..it’s not childish, it’s cute. So don’t cry anymore, your mother and everyone will be here soon, you can’t let them see you with puffy eyes.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled as she handed Shenmei to Feng Shihan after she handed Shenhua to him as well.

"Are you okay??"

"I’m fine, my abdomen hurts...probably because of the the stitches.."

Feng Shihan bent down worriedly "Should I get Jeong Da Ren??"

Tang Xue Mei shook her head, it was completely normal, thought it would leave a scar, it would get healed within weeks.

"How’s your leg?"

Feng Shihan sat on the bed, he still felt a slight pain in his knees but overall his leg had basically healed.

"Should be completely healed in the next full weeks.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and closed her eyes for some shut eye when a shrill cry rang out.

"What happened.."

Tang Xue Mei opened her eyes as she stared at Feng Shihan who stared at the babies with worry and confusion.

"I don’t know, she just started crying and he followed suit.."

Tang Xue Mei immediately reached out for the twins. "Let me see them," she said softly, her voice calm despite the cries filling the room.

Feng Shihan carefully handed Shenmei and Shenhua back to her, his expression still laced with concern. As Tang Xue Mei cradled the twins, she gently rocked them, her soothing voice filling the room. "Shh, it’s okay, little ones. Mommy’s here."

Shenmei’s cries began to soften first, followed by Shenhua’s. Tang Xue Mei checked them both, making sure they were comfortable. "Maybe they’re just hungry, or they need a diaper change," she suggested.

Feng Shihan let out a small sigh of relief as the twins settled down. "That’s a bit unfair kiddos, you can’t calm down the moment your mother holds you. Daddy will buy you whatever you want, just name it."

Tang Xue Mei smiled up at him, her eyes soft. "It’s just a mother’s instinct, I guess. They know I’m here for them."

He leaned in closer, watching as Shenmei and Shenhua gradually fell back asleep in her arms. "You’re amazing, you know that?"

Tang Xue Mei blushed slightly, her gaze still on the twins. "We’re both amazing. We’ve come this far together, Shihan. Look at our babies, I think they’re a bit bias too, how come they both look like you, we haven’t address that yet."

Feng Shihan chuckled, as he held Shenmei’s hand, his palms covering her’s completely.

"Daddy’s little girl, I’ll protect you forever...so you can roam freely just like your mother. And you have your brother to protect you.."

Just then, the door to the room opened, and Feng Shiyan walked in with Qin Mingyue along with Su Huiying and Xia Yuya. Their faces lit up with joy as they saw Tang Xue Mei holding the twins.

"Look at them!" Qin Mingyue exclaimed softly, rushing over to get a closer look. "They’re absolutely precious and damn they resemble big bro so much!"

Xia Yuya followed behind, a wide grin on her face. "You’ve done well, both of you. The twins are perfect and now I Xia Yuya is a grandma, how cool is that!."

Su Huiying approached slowly, her eyes moist with emotion as she took in the sight of her grandchildren. "Xue Mei, you’ve made your family complete. I’m so proud of you, your dad would have been so proud of you."

Su Huiying wiped her tears as she stared at the twins, she prayed in her heart the twins grow up healthy and have a wonderful childhood like Tang Xue Mei did.

Tang Xue Mei looked up at them all, her heart swelling with gratitude and love. "Thank you, everyone. I’m so happy you’re all here. But where’s Can?."

Feng Shihan moved a bit closer so Feng Shihan and Xia Yuya could hold the twins.

"Can’s in F city right now, she had an emergency exam.."
