Yang Dakie gritted her teeth as she stared at her bloody hand. But it suddenly felt less painful when she saw the expression on Feng Shihan’s face.

She was beginning to make him look like a pushover when he wasn’t.

She turned to her remaining subordinates, her eyes blazing with fury. "Find out who did this," she spat. "I want to know who is behind this atrocity!."

Her subordinates nodded hastily, backing away from her intense gaze. They knew better than to cross Ye Chen Ling, especially when she was in a mood like this.

As they scurried away to investigate, Ye Chen Ling couldn’t help but think of Feng Shihan. Could he be behind this? she wondered. But no, she thought to herself. Feng Shihan was too clever for this. He would never leave such an obvious trail.

But still, Ye Chen Ling couldn’t shake off the feeling that Feng Shihan was involved somehow. She would have to be careful, very careful. For now, she had to focus on finding out who was behind this gruesome act.

And as she looked down at Yang Dakie’s broken body, Ye Chen Ling felt a cold, calculated anger building up inside her.

She was the only one who was allowed to torture Yang Dakie.

Ye Chen Ling’s eyes narrowed as she gazed down at Yang Dakie’s broken body. She didn’t care about her suffering, only about the mission that had been entrusted to her.

It would make her day brighten if she had taken care of Tang Xue Mei like she had instructed her or even cause a bit of damage.

"Yang Dakie," Ye Chen Ling said, her voice cold and detached. "Did you complete your mission? Do you know who did this to you?"

Yang Dakie’s eyes fluttered open, filled with pain and fear. She tried to speak, but her voice was barely a whisper.

"N-no," she stammered. "I-I failed, Feng Shihan caught be before I could do anything."

Ye Chen Ling’s face twisted with rage. She had expected as much, but to hear it confirmed was still a bitter pill to swallow.

"You failed me," Ye Chen Ling spat, her anger boiling over. "You failed me, and now you’re useless to me."

Without hesitation, Ye Chen Ling reached out and grasped Yang Dakie’s throat. Her grip was like a vice, squeezing the life out of Yang Dakie.

Yang Dakie’s eyes widened in terror as she realized she was going to die. She tried to struggle, but it was too late. Ye Chen Ling’s grip was too strong, and soon Yang Dakie’s body went limp.

Ye Chen Ling dropped the lifeless body into the box, her face still twisted with anger.

She didn’t care about Yang Dakie’s death, only about the fact that her mission had failed and Feng Shihan was in to her.

She turned to her remaining subordinates, her eyes blazing with fury. "Start the process now, destroy everything, I want all her businesses gone, capture her sister, capture her mother, make sure anyone who’s valuable to Tang Xue Mei gets caught!"

Ye Chen Ling wiped her hands clean as she left the room, the awful stench of blood made her stomach churn.

"And take that body out of her, remove the dummy in Ju Jing’s grave put her there. Might as well let her die as Ju Jing.."

The subordinate nodded and almost gagged when he saw the unsightly image, he beaconed to his colleague and they dragged the box out.

The maids coming out to take care of the mess.

"Ah! This will surely lure Feng Shihan out...haha, let’s have fun for the last time and see who dies first.."

Ye Chen Ling laughed happily as she stroked the picture and stared at the rest of the pictures on the wall.
