"We’re almost at 30 weeks, my belly’s gotten pretty big, it’s almost impossible to get up...I have to be very strategic to get up each morning.."

Feng Shihan stifled a laugh when he heard Tang Xue Mei said she had to be strategic.

"Well I’m here now and I’ll help you get every morning. Perhaps we should we some comfortable pillows, we position it at your sides so you can get up easily.."

Feng Shihan eyes darkened, he had a lot of catching up to do he would have to do a lot of digging later.

"Who would have thought Shiyan would get married, I mean it’s only been a few months since I left.."

"How could you be so incompetent?" she spat, her voice low and deadly. "I specifically instructed you to keep him under surveillance. How come he’s back in the city? Why didn’t he just fucking die!"

The subordinate cowered, trembling under Ye Chen Ling’s wrath. "I-I’m sorry, madam. We underestimated him. He was more resourceful than we thought."

Ye Chen Ling’s face twisted in rage. "Underestimated? Ah! I bet he doesn’t even see us as anything in his eyes.."

She sprang to her feet, her eyes blazing with fury. "Gather all the men, let’s get his attention. I want to see his expression when he know I’m still alive. Bring Yang Dakie back if he’s back he’ll never let her continue living in his house and while you’re at it, since we can’t talk that Tang bitch babies lets take her sister’s. Ah! I’ll break anyone and everyone around her until she lets Feng Shihan go."

The subordinate nodded hastily, backing away from Ye Chen Ling’s intense gaze. "Y-yes, madam. Right away."

Ye Chen Ling’s laughter was maniacal, echoing off the walls as she descended into a madness that would consume her every waking thought. "Oh, Feng Shihan. You have no idea what you’ve unleashed. I’ll make you pay for betraying me. You promised me you’ll love me, how could you break that promise.."

As she laughed, the sound sent shivers down the spines of those around her, a chilling reminder of the danger that lurked beneath Ye Chen Ling’s beautiful facade.

Ye Chen Ling gripped the couch tightly, she remembered it like it was yesterday, the love, his touch, how could forget everything, how could he let her go, just because she made a silly mistake.

Meanwhile, Feng Shihan stared at Yang Dakie slightly, she gave off a different feeling despite looking like plastic.

"Everything written about her on this file is fake.." Feng Shihan closed the file and tossed it to Ken. He grabbed Yang Dakie by the neck, his expression turning menacing.

"Who the hell do you work for, let’s start with that..."

Yang Dakie kept shut, compared to that woman whatever Feng Shihan did to her would be milder.

"Oh don’t want to talk?" Feng Shihan chuckled and took a step back.

"An Yu take two of her fingers maybe she’ll comply after.."

Yang Dakie eyes widened as she stared at An Yu who walked toward her with a smile.

"No! Wait I’ll tell you who I work for.."

"Too late, now I don’t feel like listening let’s talk after he’s done.."
