"I know, my love. I know," Shihan said softly, holding her tightly. "I’m so sorry for putting you through this."

Tang Xue Mei pulled back slightly, her tear-stained face a mix of joy, confusion, and a hint of anger. "Shihan, we mourned you! Shiyan has been struggling to keep the company together, thinking he’d lost his brother. I refused to believe but there was a part of me that actually did believe you were gone. And I’ll be alone once again.."

Feng Shihan’s face fell with guilt, he should have returned home, the moment he opened his eyes. "I know, I should have come home the moment I opened my eyes but I didn’t want you to see me in that state. I thought I should return home a better man.."

Tang Xue Mei shook her head, she didn’t care whatever state he was in. She just wanted to know that he was alive and that he was okay.

"Ah your thumb!"

Tang Xue Mei quickly scanned his fingers and saw that his thumbs along with the rest of his body was still intact.

"I’m okay, my leg hasn’t healed yet but it’s okay.."

Auntie Gu came out holding the tray of food when she saw Tang Xue Mei holding a man.

Tears rolled out of auntie Gu’s eyes as she sobbed where she stood. They had all been hiding their grievances from Tang Xue Mei so she could feel less sad and take care of her health.

But seeing Feng Shihan standing in front of her, he tears wouldn’t stop falling.

Butler Wang along with An Yu and Leia all came down when they heard the commotion.

An Yu stared at Feng Shihan, he had changed a lot over this last few months.

"This was its original length.." turning to An Yu, Feng Shihan hissed he didn’t like Yang Dakie’s presence at all "Get her out of here, when I come downstairs I don’t want to see her in my house."

Feng Shihan walked away and carried Tang Xue Mei princess "Auntie Gu please send breakfast up to my room, I have some catching up to do with my wife..."

Feng Shihqn smiled as he climbed upstairs, despite feeling the immense pain in his leg.

"Did you carry me just to insult my weight? Humph!"

Feng Shihan raised a brow, why were they heading to the vacant room.

Feng Shihan smiled softly when he noticed the theme.

Feng Shihan grinned as he admired the room, it was the definition of cozy and comfortable.

"You did a good job wifey! Thank you for taking care of yourself and our kiddos. I’m so glad I found a strong woman like you, you’ve been my motivation to live, your smile and your words always brought out of the darkness. I’m happy I found my way back to you.."

Feng Shihan leaned against the door, his leg was killing him, he had placed too much pressure on it.

"Shihan are you okay?"

"No, to tell the truth I haven’t fully recover my leg still need 2 more months before it recovers. I had Jeong Da Ren remove the cast so the board members wouldn’t notice.."

Tang Xue Mei peered down at his leg, and her eyes widened "You’ve been through so much!"

"I’m just glad I made it home, let’s head back to the room...I want to rest my leg for a while..."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and helped Feng Shihan back to his room, the room she hasn’t entered since his left.

"Do you need water, should I call Dr. Jeong?"

Feng Shihan nodded he needed him to put his leg in a proper cast.

"Just prop it up with a pillow until Jeong Da Ren get here.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and adjusted his leg on the pillow before giving Jeong Da Ren a call.

"He’s on his way.."

Tang Xue Mei dropped the phone the bedside table only to be pulled into a tight hug.

"Shihan, it’s too tight I can’t breathe..."

Feng Shihan release his hold and hugged below her belly softly.

"Our little kiddos, I can feel them moving, it’s feel so unreal..."
