Chapter 159: Who initiated the divorce?
"It’s a wrap everyone, the next team will be here in 5, to let’s pack up.."
Xia Yuya sighed happily they had done such a great job with the place.
"You did an amazing job, you and your team..."
Zhang Lifen smiled, she was gladly they were able to lived up to her expectations.
"I wish the couple a happy marriage life..."
Zhang Lifen bowed and left with her team.
As the decorating team packed up their supplies and exited the yacht, a flurry of activity signaled the arrival of the catering team. Vans pulled up outside, and workers in crisp white uniforms began unloading equipment and supplies.
The catering manager, a tall woman with her hair tied back in a tight bun, strode in first. She surveyed the newly decorated space and her eyes widened. Nodding approvingly at the elegant setup.
"She’s one lucky woman, it’s not everyday you see something this pretty.."she thought to herself, her own proposal party wasn’t this luxurious but it was filled with love.
Just like this one.
Behind her, a stream of staff members filed in, carrying large insulated containers, stacks of plates, and boxes of cutlery.
"You must be Mrs Yang, I’m Xia Yuya...I’m the coordinator.."
Yang Mengxia shook hands with Xia Yuya with a pleasant smile on her face.
"Nice to meet you, I run the catering team and I love what you’ve done with the place.."
Xia Yuya smiled the decorating team had really lived up to their reviews and recommendations.
"Not me, the decorating teams were outstanding...the theme reminds me so much of young and innocent love."
Yang Mengxia nodded, she was older now, she hopped for her daughters to enjoy such heartfelt proposals like this one.
As the catering team bustled about, conversations filled the air.
"Alright, team! Let’s get this show on the road," Yang Mengxia called out, clapping her hands.
"We’ve got three hours until the guests arrive."
Yang Mengxia smiled as she excused herself.
The sleek yacht gently rocked on the waves as the catering team prepared for the party.
The salty sea breeze wafted through the open deck areas.
Steadying herself against a railing, Yang Mengxia called out. "Remember, we’re on a moving vessel. Secure everything properly!"
A waiter approached her, looking a bit green. "Mrs. Yang, I’m feeling a bit seasick. Do we have any ginger ale?"
"Check with the bartender, Huang Tao. And take a moment if you need it. We can’t have you dropping trays into the ocean.."she replied sympathetically.
In the galley kitchen, the head chef was giving instructions: "Wu Jing, make sure those canapés are anchored to the serving plates. We don’t want them sliding off with the waves."
"Yes, Chef! I’ll use the edible seaweed to secure them," Wu Jing responded quickly.
At the bar on the upper deck, the bartender was explaining to his assistant: "Changying, we need to use stemless glassware tonight. Less chance of spills when we hit a wave."
Changying nodded, "Good thinking, Boss Tao. Should we offer some nautical-themed cocktails too?"
"Brilliant idea! Let’s create a ’Blue Lagoon’ special," Huang Tao agreed enthusiastically.
Two waiters were setting up a table near the bow and were having some trouble as the breeze kept blowing the tablecloths away.
"Geez, did you bring the non-slip mats for the tables?" a slim black haired waiter asked his partner, struggling with a tablecloth that kept catching the wind.
Yuun nodded, "Got them right here, Seungmin. Can’t have the china sliding into anyone’s lap when we hit a wave.."

Leia was putting the finishing touches on a stunning dress for Qin Mingyue.
Leia moved around the dress form with careful precision, adjusting the drape of the light pink and white fabric.
"This has to be absolutely perfect," Leia murmured, her voice filled with determination. "It’s not just a dress; it’s part of a life-changing moment."
The bodice, a soft blush pink, hugged the form before flowing into a skirt that gradated from light pink to pure white at the hem. The design was intentionally versatile perfect for any occasion.
Alicia approached with a case filled with accessories. "For a proposal, we want something subtle but special. What do you think about these pearl earrings with a hint of pink?"
"They look great, Mingyue loves these type of colors.."
Leaning with one hand holding her head, Tang Xue Mei was fully engaged despite her feverish state. "The dress is beautiful," she said, her voice hoarse but filled with emotion. "It’s romantic without being overstated. Perfect for such a significant moment."
Leia nodded, "We’ve incorporated some hidden details too. See this tiny pocket near the hip? It’s just big enough to hold the ring box, in case they want to add an extra element of surprise."
Tang Xue Mei smiled and stood up, looking at the dress with appreciation. "Brilliant touch. This dress isn’t just fashion; it’s going to be part of someone’s love story."
Leia nodded it was also a joyous moment when someone gets married.
She wished she remembered her own wedding but now she only remembers being divorced.
"I divorced Hyun..."
Tang Xue Mei raised her brow she wasn’t surprised, she hadn’t recovered her memories it would be awkward living with a man you don’t recall loving or getting married to.
"He’s okay with it, apparently he has someone else. So what if I recover these memories and can’t let go?"
Tang Xue Mei held the fabric softly before speaking.
"Who initiated the divorce?"
Leia placed the last pin and sighed, it seemed like the right thing to do.
"It was hard seeing him like that so u decided to set him free. At least he doesn’t have to worry about a wife who doesn’t remember him. Besides I’m ashamed..."
She remembered haven’t sex with the man she stayed with at the field, at that time she was his fiancé who would have thought she was a married woman.
Regardless of if she lost her memories or not it was still a shameful thing.
