Qin Mingyue nodded she was fine being his girlfriend or his wife as long as he loved her.

"So let me propose properly..."

Feng Shiyan stood up and brought Qin Mingyue to her feet as well.

"But I won’t do it here, it will be a surprise.."

Qin Mingyue nodded still speechless but were they both ready for marriage.

She shook her head, they could get through anything as long as they were together.

Feng Shiyan wiped the tears off her face and kissed her cheeks, Qin Mingyue wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him close.

"You always smell like vanilla, so sweat..so intoxicating..."

Feng Shiyan hugged her tightly kissing her forehead.

"I need to go to the university, I still have lessons.."

Feng Shiyan nodded and they left the room but he stood when they got to Tang Xue Mei’s room.

"Give me a minute.."

Feng Shiyan knocked them door before entering.

Tang Xue Mei still in her pajamas looked at Feng Shiyan and raised a brow.

That was one happy grin!

"Good news?"

"How did you know?"

Feng Shiyan sat down and turned to Tang Xue Mei, she was the one who knew Qin Mingyue the most and that was why he wanted to discuss everything with her first hand.

"I’m planning on proposing to Qin Mingyue.."

"..."

"You’re getting married!"

Tang Xue Mei was a bit shocked and her Qin Mingyue whined about them not being together and now they were getting married.

"We’re getting our marriage certificate after the proposal but I’ll wait till brother Han returns before thinking about the wedding.."

Tang Xue Mei eyes lowered, her and Feng Shihan had also not done their wedding.

Sighing, she smiled and looked at Feng Shiyan "You’re planning a surprise?"

Feng Shiyan nodded though Qin Mingyue knew he was going to propose.

"She knows I’m going to propose but she doesn’t know when..."

Tang Xue Mei and grabbed her phone, he probably wanted to know some of the things Qin Mingyue liked.

"Pink, cute themed, white ballons.."

Feng Shiyan stroked his chin, those were exactly the type of things Qin Mingyue likes.

"You got a venue?"

"I have one now, a yatch..we’ll setup everything there..."

Tang Xue Mei nodded she imagined how it would look in her head and smiled.

So romantic!

"Too bad I’m sick, can’t go.."

Tang Xue Mei sighed, she didn’t want to spread her germs in such a heart warming occasion.

"You’ll be there don’t worry.."

Feng Shiyan stood up and bid Tang Xue Mei goodbye before leaving.

"You kiddos get to be mummy’s ring bearers during the wedding...."

She rubbed her stomach but her heart was heavy.

Wedding? She shouldn’t even be thinking about such things. Her father was in a coma, her mother was abroad, her sister was pregnant and her husband was in the military.

Thinking of a wedding was like dreaming of castles in the sky, she could only imagine it.

"You two must promise mummy, never to join the military.."

Xia Yuya stood at the entrance, directing the delivery crew who were bringing in boxes filled with decorations.

Her face was filled with smiles, she couldn’t believe Feng Shiyan was actually proposing, soon she would have another daughter-in-law. A good woman like Tang Xue Mei.

Zhang Lifen, who was part of the decorating team, stepped into the yacht, armed with a roll of pink tulle.

"Miss Xia, my team and I are ready to start decorating.."

She said with a smile as Xia Yuya took a step to the side, revealing some of the boxes.

"Please go ahead miss Zhang, I trust your work would be as amazing as your reviews and recommedations.."

Zhang Lifen smiled and nodded before getting to work, weaving the fabric along the yacht’s railings, creating delicate bows that fluttered in the breeze.

"Make sure the balloons are evenly spaced.." she called out to Wu Mei, who was busy inflating an endless supply of pink and white balloons. The sound of the helium tank hummed in the background, interspersed with the occasional laughter and chatter of the group.

Wu Mei, her cheeks flushed from the effort, tied off another balloon and handed it to Zhang Lifen. "This one’s ready. Where do you want it?"

Zhang Lifen took the balloon and moved to the starboard side, carefully attaching it to the railing. "Perfect. Keep them coming, Mei. We need the entire yacht to look magical."

Chen Rong, the artist in the team, was in charge of the floral arrangements. She had chosen an assortment of pastel-colored flowers that complemented the pink and white theme.

She created cascading bouquets that she placed on the tables and various nooks of the yacht. Each arrangement was artistic and captured her exquisite attention to detail.

As the decorations began to take shape, the yacht transformed into a scene straight out of a fairy tale.

Strings of delicate fairy lights twinkled overhead, adding a touch of enchantment. The white balloons, interspersed with pink ones, floated gently on the rails.

Chen Rong stepped back to admire her floral handiwork, her eyes sparkling with satisfaction. "It’s coming together beautifully," she said, her voice filled with pride. "This is going to be a proposal she’ll never forget."

"If this is the proposal, I can’t wait to see what the wedding looks like. She’s one lucky lady.."

Zhang Lifen chuckled they had decorated many venues but not one as pretty as this and staring at the ocean with its gentle breeze.

It has a different feeling to it.

Zhang Lifen nodded, surveying the yacht with a critical eye. "Absolutely. We need to make sure every detail is perfect. This moment has to be unforgettable."

As the afternoon wore on, more and more decorations found their places.

The tulle bows fluttered in the breeze, the balloons swayed gently, and the flowers added a sweet fragrance to the air.

And for the final touch, Zhang Lifen hung a delicate, hand-painted sign that read "Will You Marry Me?" at the bow of the yacht. The words, simple yet profound, were the centerpiece of the entire setup.
